MP rules out approving the budget in the coming days

BAGHDAD / NINA / The member of the Economic Commission, an MP of state of law, Salman al-Moussawi ruled out approving the budget in the coming days, describing it / impossible /.

Moussawi said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "The approval of the federal budget law needs / 30-45 / days to complete the amendments and notes as well as the approval of the executive branch on it, thus the remaining days are not enough for approving it , saying , that the House will continue working until the end of parliamentary election and then to approve the budget for 2014 . "

He added , "The bylaws of the House of Representatives states not to end the Legislative term for the Council , until passing the budget."

The parliament formed several committees to resolve the differences on the budget between the center and the region , most recently the Quartet , headed by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Qusay al-Suhail/ end

Wow! What is holding them up so long? Kurd conflict? It's already in this April heading into the fifth month! The people must be really suffering when they have no resources. We take life for granted here.

Yes still believe this even though everybody's angry everybody else we have one the best lifestyles and system where anyone can create opportunity and succeed.

Hopefully we can resolve our internal conflicts, and also balance our impact on the natural world.

Heck I have ruled it out till after elections.  But what gets me is, usually when they say they ruled it out, they come back with some crap and get er done.  I hope not.  I am a supporter of after the elections.   One more week!

It should have been approved ages ago but then again this is Iraq.. And after the election it will take awhile because one must allow for the usual holidays,squabbles etc etc.. I often wonder if Iraq will ever move forward..
