Huh?

Is he having all campaign signs

taken down?

Is trying to make it harder for

assassins to identify their targets?

Does he think that none of the Iraqi

politicians are photogenic?

And yes, something is about to burst.

Back in a few minutes...

Am I reading this right? Is he actually trying to keep the opponents from advertising for their votes on the elections?  Censorship...dictatorship....  Maybe I read it wrong.  If it's true, how the heck can he get away with that?   The world is watching.

That's what it sounds like, no surprise coming from ol M...

Just hope we get a compentent PM in the next round of elections that will take the reigns for Iraq.

Before he puts his poster up he needs to schedule an appointment with hair club for men..

I found an updated article, he is now demanding that citizens wear his propaganda hat he created for his campaign.  I am sure his hair club for men appointment is "soon" but a hat works for the meantime.

So, it seems that because the IHEC has not approved, nor announced the official list of candidates, Maliki felt justified in taking down the electoral propaganda and images of those that wish to run.  We just have to wait for the IHEC to make the official announcement as to when people pay legally begin their election campaigns.
