"

The source, who asked not to be named, said: "Chinese Foreign Minister will meet with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and a number of government officials, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, especially economic."

A source in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry revealed, on Saturday, (February 22, 2014), the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will arrive in the capital, Baghdad, on Sunday, on an official visit lasts for one day, to discuss common issues between the two countries, while stressing that the Chinese minister will meet with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and a number of officials in the government.

Noteworthy that China is today the third strongest and largest producer of weapon in the world after the United States and Russia, so Iraq is seeking by all means to build a serious relationship with them in different directions, both on the military side or cultural or economic.

Once again the U.S. shows its mighty strategy of "leading from behind" allowing the Chinese to secure a major trading partnership with Iraq.  We spend our blood and treasure to assure that the Chinese can spread their influence throughout the Middle East in the most up-and-coming nation in the region.  What's wrong with this picture Mr. President?
