MIT, Scooter to my knowledge is not dead or passed - he no longer visits this site - I don't recall that he was actually "banned" but I do remember that there was an occurrence and he either withdrew voluntarily or was escorted "off the site" and I was fairly new to this site at the time. My memories are more of his writings over the other bahama mama drama that happens from time to time.  

He did a diatribe on the dinar and world order/ money in general - a good and interesting read.

He pumped me.  He said he thought for sure it was going to be in October 2010 and I bought more because of his rep.  That was the last time I ever did.

Not sure about that...............all I ever heard or read from him were possibilities nothing concrete. He hated to be asked the dreaded "when & how much" questions that he got bombarded with. He was a "rockstar" when he would enter the chatroom. I always found him to be very grounded.............jmo

That is right. I am blaming him. Maybe people should keep their mouths shut about predicting dates then. Never bought because of anyone else because they were charlatans. Scooter was so well respected. I bought because of his lousy prediction.

Scooter is a damned hard worker who puts out a lot of information, and very good analysis - we can all take it or leave it.
