" and added that "the conference will focus on research energy investment which focuses on the development of the Iraqi oil industry and supplement the foreign companies operating or wishing to future work in the Iraqi oil sector a comprehensive database for reservoir undiscovered and clarify the opportunities for investment, "adding that" Oil Minister Abdul Karim and coffee will attend the conference, in addition to all professionals in the oil ministry and foreign oil companies. Oil production to 11 million bpd by 2020? wow! It's at like 3 million per day now, right? That will almost quadruple current production. We shall see, they can't even pass the HCL. I would think they need to do that first.

You got to give them some credit for being the dreamers that they are.  Even if they find a way to increase pressure in their played out (and existing) fields - there wouldn't be enough oil extracted to reach that goal.  The have already implemented water injection and that indicates they are getting desperate to grab a Middle east power play.  It is too little - too late for them.
