Well everyone, the CBI had another double Auction ... all the dates of the EID Feast are now covered except Friday, the 18th of October. I'm not sure what this might mean for the potential of the CBI increasing the value of the IQD.  :tiphat:

Lower central bank sales in the auction today

Sales fell Central Bank of the dollar Monday in the daily public auction to $ 221 million after it reached on Sunday $ 227 million.

 

According to a statement of the bank has received all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today that "the size of the amount sold by the bank at the auction of the dollar today reached [221] million and [570] thousand dollars at the exchange rate [1166] dinars to the dollar contribution [20] banks. "

 

He pointed out that "the quantity sold in cash amounted to [69] million and [760] thousand dollars, and the quantity sold remittances amounted to [151] million and [810] thousand dollars," adding that "the central bank receive a commission of [13] dinars per dollar, with discount [8] dinars for each dollar amounts purchased, ie, that the purchase price of the dollar = cash sales price of $ cash - 8]. "

 

The statement added that "the price of cash sales and transfers [1179] dinars to the dollar, including the commission of the Central Bank in the amount of 13 dinars per dollar, while the total cash purchase price of $ [1171] dinars to the dollar."

 

He explained that "the Iraqi Central Bank continues to buy and sell the dollar at [1166] dinars and receive the same commission mentioned above."

 

The statistics compiled by all of Iraq [where] the auction sale and purchase of foreign currency has reported that sales of the Iraqi Central Bank of the dollar traded during the month of September last 5 billion and 275 million and 645 thousand dollars compared to 4 billion and 563 million and 751 dollars in August last year. Ended .
