OK HERE WE GO FIRST ONE OF NEW MATERIAL

Me: God i know you are busy but can i ask you a question?

God: sure son what's on your mind

Me: Please don't get mad

God: I promise

 

I had to gather my courage to ask these questions to the Master without sounding ungreatful

 

Me: Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today, trying to brush back an attitude

God: What do you mean?

 

Me: Well, i woke up late because my alarm didn't work and i was late for work

God: I am listening

 

Me: My car took forever to start

God: OK

 

Me: When i took my lunch break, I placed my order and they got it wrong and there was a zillion people in line when i left the counter and i had to eat what they gave me because there was no time to change.

God: Hmmmmm

 

Me: On my way home from work my phone went dead just as an important call came in

God: All right

 

Me: Then when i got home all i wanted to do was soak my feet and relax with my new foot bath and massage, but guess what after i got the hot water in it wouldn't work.

God: I see

 

Me: Then when i went to the frig to see what i could find to eat, everything was ruined because it stopped working sometime last night. Everything that could happen did happen, now can you tell me why you let this happen

 

God: looked at me in silence then he spoke, Well let me tell you what you didn't see.

The death angel was at your bedside this morning wanting to take you and i had to quickly send one of my angels to battle him for your life because you weren't ready to leave life, And i let you sleep through such a trying time

 

God: I didn't let your car start as normal because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have crossed your path at the intersection at the same time you had a green light and he would have hit you.

 

God: The person who made your sandwich at lunch was about to pass out with a heart condition and she was doing the best she could because she has two little babies at home to feed.

 

God: your phone dropped that call because the person on the other end had the wrong number and he was on drugs and cursing besides you were driving

 

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a short in the wiring that would have electrocuted you when you stuck your foot in it.

Me: I am sorry God for questioning you

 

God: Don't be sorry just learn to trust me...in all things, the good and the bad, there is a reason for everything.

Me: i have learned my lesson, i will trust in you from now on

 

God: When your daily plans doesn't work out, there is a reason seen or unseen as to why i made it that way

Me: Than You God for watching over your children

 

God: Your welcome child, as your earthly father watched over you, your Heavenly father does to.... for now and always until your time is at an end.

 

Moral of the story here is this: Attitudes, impatience can fire us up when a problem arises but if we stop to think for a moment it might shed new light on what the moment means. I know for a fact that in the past i have been delayed for a few minutes with something only to find out that if i had been on time, a man driving down the road had a heart attack crossed lanes and went head on with another car and that could have possibly been my family and me. We never know what the unseen has done, but to be thankful that he has let us live another day is being blessed in my book.

Thanks Heavy - gotta remember I need that Attitude of Gratitude.  Bless your for reminding me - especially today as I am a government employee. This too shall pass, and I'm lucky to have a family and church that will help me with whatever I may need.
