The Kurdistan Alliance MP Bakr Hamma friend not to the possibility of some important laws, including the oil and gas law in the current session of Parliament, despite its importance.

 

A friend of the oil and gas law not recognized in the current session, but will be migrated to the next parliamentary session, although extremely important, and its impact on the lives of Iraqi citizens in all areas of economic and living conditions.

This interference by Maliki regarding article 23 is a major problem because the Kirkuk province proposes through their election rights given to them via article 23, allows them to hold their elections in September, and their hope is through these elections to/through the new officials to gain approval for a census of the disputed areas.  Oil distribution payments are supposed to be assigned by October 15 2013, hence the urgency.
