Thanks for the article YOTA  ..... I do think it is very strange & unusual that access to Talabani wasn't granted to this unique Iraqi delegation - JMHO...! However, we will know something "within a few more days" (LOL)

Mr. Talabani is a proud man --- perhaps the stroke has incapacitated him to the point that he is only able to communicate through his caregivers / wife....  does not want anyone to see him that way, lest the tongues wag and all heck breaks loose back home.

 

Discretion being the better part of valor - this way may be the only way.

 

But if he is indeed incapacitated to the point of not being able to handle the Peoples' business, there are some who may believe it is best not to unleash this sad news yet....

 

Poor Iraq.... Poor Mr. Talabani... and it's all so heavy on the shoulders of Mr. Barzani.....

We're so worried for Mr. Talabani & his wife ---

 

imagine her not being able to grieve openly if he has passed,

or what she may be going through - in silence - for the good of her Country right now....

 

she's been through so much with his ill health and the burden of Iraq's renaissance at the same time.
