Erbil - Iraq Presse -20 August / August: A source in the Parliament of the Kurdistan region, said on Tuesday that "the presidency of the parliament spent nearly three million dinars on August 15, the current on the anniversary of the establishment of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by  Massoud Barzani  to buy sweets (baklava). "

The source, who declined to be named for / Presse Iraq /, "The regional parliament has purchased (baklava) and distributed to staff and staff on this occasion."

He added that "this action is illegal and contrary to the rules of procedure Parliament has no right to disbursement of public funds for partisan events."

Celebrated the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), anniversary (59) in most of the cities of the Kurdistan region in the presence of advocates and supporters of the various segments. Ended

When I was in Kirkuk - there was a sweet shop in the Market district by the Circle of Swords that had the best!  You could get basically a shoe box sized box - just dripping with the honey sweet water for $5.00.  We'd stop there on patrol at least once a week. *lol*
