We periodically go to a favourite currency conversion page

(has f's, x's & pros in it..wink, wink.)

and on the left you drop down, click on Iraqi Dinar,

 

then in the box on the right, it is always on the default currency -

British Pounds - so we click it to USD, then hit the "calculate" thingy...

 

Well... today we went in like normal, and whatta ya know:

 

It was NOT already showing British Pounds in the "convert to" box

when we selected IQD in the box on the left ,

 

THIS TIME IT WENT STRAIGHT TO USD ALL BYY ITSELF....

 

Does this mean the IQD is no longer pegged to the British Pound,

 

BUT TO THE USD...?!

 

WASSUP.....?! :confused2:

I think it means a cookie was finally downoaded onto your computer that sends a message to the site that your preferred preference is USD.

 

Hate to be a spoil sport - but computers are my business, and I tend to be a bit pragmatic...as you may have noticed....

 

But I do have an obtuse sense of humor to offset that....

 

 and the Dalai Lama said,"... but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Maybe it's not the classy way to do it, but it's been my experience that a glass of chardonnay goes delightfully well with macadamia nut cookies.  :)  (or two).

We think it is....

 

if you pour the Chardonnay into a Milk Glass.  Makes it easier to dip the cookies!
