"God" and the RV...

God told us to call things as they were and use our faith. People see him as this non feeling emotionless thing. Jesus told us he was going into his father and our father. Don't you think out father wants us to have things? I pray each night for the dinar to straight RV and not LOP. You all should do the same. God works thru people I know he can change things to our benefit.

Omg I hate the iPhone spellcheck.

Personally, as soon as I see the word "God", or "Our Blessing" I stop reading.

Most of the Dinar sites should come with a free pair of hip boots.

I guess as long as it makes people buy more Dinar & Dong they will keep doing it.

Kinda makes me wonder why anyone would sell these currencies if they are really supposed to revalue at some point

I mean if a revalue was imminent I wouldn't be selling any of it. Why sell it today if there's a chance it would revalue tomorrow, or even next week, or next month.

I agree and he led us to this investment...However, I agree with the assessment of the Gurus using God..Even as a Born Again Christian it immediately raises a huge red flag for me..What goes around comes around.  Newbies beware

Pattyangel is a kind of right by saying "I pray for what GOD wants, not what I want." My question is whom are you praying to as there are many "Gods" within the universe, often referred to as beings/enrgies who have more understanding of the universe and everything else than I have. I read once in the biography of Paul Twitchel that "God really does not care what happens on this level as IT knows that eventually we will return to the Source"

He cares elcarim, we are His children and as much as we love our own children we still can't understand the depth to which He loves us... He absolutely cares what goes on at this level.

I just find it funny that a lot of the people on here seem to be quite religious and believe that their god will bless them. However, the people who are "in control" of the RV actually happening are pretty much all Muslim and don't share the same god. Why would they want to make all the Christians and Catholics rich? I think they would rather have their currency and economy suffer than help people of other religions. They take their religion quite seriously over there...

Wow! This thread actually got me up and out of bed to make this reply because while some of you have said some nice things about how God is in your life and part of everything you do, no one has come remotely close to explaining why so many invoke God's name concerning Iraq. Before I do, let me say this...Are there people out there using the name of God to sell dinar? Probably....And God will deal with them. But there are many who truly feel that what we are standing on the brink of is biblical and I sincerely hope I can shed some light on why so many people believe that this situation with Iraq has everything to do with God.

Well...if I had to say it in one word, that word would be....Babylon. The ancient city of Babylon was located about 60 miles (100 kilometers) south of Baghdad in modern-day Iraq and served for nearly two millennia as the center of Mesopotamian civilization. One of Babylon's early rulers was Hammurabi who was credited as having put together one of the first systems of law and is depicted on one of the denominations of dinars we are currently hoping RV's.

By the time Nebuchadnezzar II would come to rule the empire, it stretched from the Persian Gulf to the borders of Egypt. He captured Jerusalem twice, in 597 B.C. and 587 B.C., events that led to the destruction of the first Jewish temple and the deportation of many Jewish inhabitants to Babylonia. This was prophesied in the books of Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah, 250 years prior to the actual events. At any rate, God also said that he would destroy Babylon as punishment...."Babylon will be a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, an object of horror and scorn, a place where no one lives." - Jeremiah 51:37 This prophecy came true as well and the ancient city of Babylon was destroyed.

Now remember that I am giving you the very condensed version but this brings us up to today's current events. The reason so many invoke the name and will of God surrounding Iraq and a possible RV is because the bible clearly states that in the last days, God will raise up New Babylon, in the same location, which will be the seat of power for the Anti-Christ and his one world government that will usher in the second coming of Jesus Christ. It is to be the richest nation the world has ever known...more opulent than any other...and the nations of the world will become extremely rich from financial dealings with her. She will be a cesspool of sin though, but that sin will be part of her lure to the nations. Her rise and fall will be part of the bowl judgments God pours out in the last days. The chapter describes how attractive Babylon will be to the world but inside she is a harlot, over run and overcome with sin, and will be overtaken by the Anti-Christ (beast) from where he will rule the world. The last portion of the chapter describes this in detail...please read below.

Revelation 17 tells us about this New Babylon: (Please read...don't skim over it if you really want to know)

The Great Prostitute and the Beast

1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk." 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. 5 And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: "Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth's abominations." 6 And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I marveled greatly. 7 But the angel said to me, "Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come. 9 This calls for a mind with wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; 10 they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. 11 As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction. 12 And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received royal power, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they hand over their power and authority to the beast. 14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful." 15 And the angel said to me, "The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. 16 And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, 17 for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth."

Hopefully you can see why so many Christians are watching the events of Iraq very closely. If Iraq, the new Babylon prophesied of in the bible, is about to step onto the world stage as the preeminent nation, about to be flooded with great riches, to where the other nations will become rich off of her, many think the dinar and the RV is the likely way God will use to make them very rich. Revelation 18 continues with describing the rise and fall of this New Babylon. Please read below...

The Fall of Babylon

1 After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory. 2 And he called out with a mighty voice, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast. 3 For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living." 4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; 5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. 7 As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, 'I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.' 8 For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her." 9 And the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning. 10 They will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say, "Alas! Alas! You great city, you mighty city, Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come." 11 And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore, 12 cargo of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, all kinds of scented wood, all kinds of articles of ivory, all kinds of articles of costly wood, bronze, iron and marble, 13 cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and slaves, that is, human souls. 14 "The fruit for which your soul longed has gone from you, and all your delicacies and your splendors are lost to you, never to be found again!" 15 The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud, 16 "Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, with jewels, and with pearls! 17 For in a single hour all this wealth has been laid waste."And all shipmasters and seafaring men, sailors and all whose trade is on the sea, stood far off 18 and cried out as they saw the smoke of her burning, "What city was like the great city?" 19 And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, "Alas, alas, for the great city where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been laid waste. 20 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her!" 21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more; 22 and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will be heard in you no more, and a craftsman of any craft will be found in you no more, and the sound of the mill will be heard in you no more, 23 and the light of a lamp will shine in you no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more, for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth."

I hope this helps explain why God's name continues to be used when describing the events we hope will transpire. The bible clearly prophecies that a New Babylon will emerge and it will be unlike any other nation in the history of the world. Many believe we are on the verge of God raising up this "great" nation as we are living in the end times. Whether God uses an RV and the dinar to begin the rise of this nation, I don't know. But you can bet that it will happen. God is always working and guiding human history for His purposes. Thanks all and I hope this helps...God bless!

A good post, but with all due respect I must disagree on a few points.

1. There is no "New Babylon" mentioned in the bible.

2. Isaiah 13:19-22 clearly states that Babylon will never be rebuilt.

3. There are actually two "Babylons" referred to in Revelation 17 and 18. One is the apostate church, which will be headed up by the papacy ( the "falling away" of Matthew 24 ), and the coalition of nations ( the "ten horns", see also the "ten toes" in Daniel ) that will make up the last form of Gentile world-domination.
