Wave of car bombings in Iraq kills at least 51

BAGHDAD (AP) — A wave of over a dozen car bombings hit central and southern Iraq during morning rush hour on Monday, officials said, killing at least 51 people in the latest coordinated attack by insurgents determined to undermine the government.

The blasts, which wounded scores more, are part of a months-long surge of attacks that is reviving fears of a return to the widespread sectarian bloodshed that pushed the country to the brink of civil war after the 2003 U.S.-led invasion. Suicide attacks, car bombings and other violence have killed more than 3,000 people since April, including more than 500 since the start of July, according to an Associated Press count.

Thus the call for the Maliki's resignation.

The blatant killing of innocent civilians is nothing more than misled children duped into blowing themselves up "for the glory of allah."  Insurgents have an interest in the vast wealth of Iraq and are willing to murder everyone just to destabilize the government, insight revolt, destroy confidence, and then step in with such ridge control that all freedoms are removed.  Look at Egypt.

If this government postpone assistants to the people of Iraq, continues the process of withholding infrastructure from being developed, then there will be continued chaos and death, which strengthens the insurgency.

Iraq is not ready for Democracy. Iraq is not ready for a RV. Iraq is not ready for economic reform.

Who wants to invest in Iraq under such conditions?

Iraq needs another Sadam to keep the peace through fear.

They have it made and dont even know it.

Please people - there will never be peace anywhere.  There will always be violence in all corners of the world.  With that said - a few car bombings does not stop a government from operating.  Just look in your own neighborhoods.  It doesn't matter where you live , people kill people and the world goes on.  The RV does not get put on hold because of bombings.  Come up with some other excuse.

How many thousands were tortured, killed or imprisoned under Maliki in the holy name of Democracy.

Wise up.

Horrible strife may always be there...no matter who is in power.  An immediate RV is needed.  IT IS KILLINGS NEUTRAL!!!
