90% of Americans are chronically dehydrated

Recommended Posts

Ninety percent of Americans are chronically dehydrated, and the body often misinterprets thirst for hunger.

This video gives some great information - like how much water to drink each day, why room temp vs cold water, and some symptoms of dehydration.

Thanks, Dude

My father always drink hot water and he didn't have wrinkles and his body was like a 20 years old.  I drink a lot room temperature or hot water with lemon for meals. And when I feel the thirst, I chug the cold water to hydrate myself :)

Very interesting to hear this on here... I suffered from High blood pressure for a long time... and the doctor told me, look, Id love to put you on blood pressure meds but there's really no need to...  he said "YOU ARE NOT DRINKING ENOUGH WATER!  YOU ARE DEHYDRATED"... now that along with 3000mg's of Vitamin C with lycene (sp?)  my blood pressure has remained normal with no spikes... pretty incredible.  If you're on blood pressure meds, I know most have side effects... but ask your doctor about this... it worked for me...

and yes, most of the world is chronically dehydrated, which can lead to inflammation and acidity which leads to every debiliating dis-ease known to man...

This is true stuff. Several MD's have websites basically saying no water creates most of our illnesses.

This inflammation and acidity is known as "oxidative stress" and is now being linked to a number of diseases.

Some good info on this in an earlier post by Thaiexpat - http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/150470-rusting/
