Baghdad (AIN) -The parliament session of Thursday lifted till next Sunday.

A statement by the media office of the parliament received by AIN cited “The parliament finished its second session in its first legislative term that was headed by the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and attended by 192 MPs.”

“The session involved conducting the first reading for three law drafts,” the statement concluded. /End/

So if I read this right the session was lifted because they actually finished what was on the agenda. Not because someone threw a temper tantrum and stormed out giving a lack of quorum. A freakin amazing!!! :bravo:

"attended by 192 MPs"

wow....that has to be a record......

Would the " attended by 192 MPs " refer to the 192 Military Police it took to maintain order ? Just kiddin'  . . .  good to see a stellar turnout. True, that's gotta be a Record !!

Really, all done and now it's time for Tea & Cakes on Sunday. THAT would be Wonderful news & moving towards the ultimate GOAL.  :twothumbs:  :praying:
