This law has been in the gazette (the law of the three presidencies for almost thirty days..put in there on May 7 2013 with publication date of April 8 2013) and according to Iraqi constitutional law he has up to thirty days to appeal this.  Now, it may have been appealed in court and we haven't heard about it yet, but I'm hopeful this is not the case.

So much for getting rid of Maliki.  Looks like he will be "king" forever.   Bah Humbug.

Not necessarily true...don't believe everything you read.  Maliki is a puppet in this game and his time is coming.

Hey, maybe the third time is the charm! NOT! I don't think it's constitutional to hold the office 3 times. But, he'd be the one to find a way around it. I am very interested in seeing what happens in the meetings this weekend in Erbil. Maybe I am just hoping too much.

I totally agree.  What ticks me off if the puppet master that allowed all those murders just to get for their own evil ways and gains.  But now that the innocent folks under the puppet masters are putting pressure on the puppet masters, we may see some movement.  Then the puppet masters will move to their next game.   It's a cruel, cruel, world.

What I see is Maliki is possibly looking for a third term, he has denied this, so this could be just talk.  Barzani however is wanting a third term.  Can it be justified constitutionally, his first term he was placed the second he was voted on.  I think he has a leg to stand on, but not Maliki.
