said parliamentary Finance Committee, the central bank, according to correspondences official start of this year procedures deleting three zeros from the local currency, saying that it would lead to the development of cash transactions and economic international.

I agree with you that no matter what, they have to make the money right to include the Kurds language. They will also have a chance to update this new currency with smaller denominations so that the guy at the farmers market selling watermelons isn't trying to make $93,745.00 in US bills to change out a 25k dinar note. They need something that works, something of value so the man will just take one and a half dinars for the fruit and the transaction is over.

a new unit replaces the old unit with a fixed number of old units being converted to 1 new unit.  the procedure can be referred to as "cutting zeroes.

 

Redenomination does delete the zeros off all those that you said markinsa they take it out of the deposits, loans, and more

They would never never never tell people they were going to take 000 off the exchange rate , but they would tell people they were taking 000 off the currency. If they are for real with this its game over.

dontlop, what do you think, will it LOP or RV.

in my opinion .. i think the days of reinstating to pre 1990 levels have come and gone..

 

i think they are going to do what they say .. put out new lower denominations  with a higher value that include  the kurdish language on them that will co exist with the bremmer for an exchange period ..afterwards the bremmer will be demonetized .

 

im hoping for some type of partial   removal through the dedollarization process .. and those that are removed through dolarization will be  exchanged value for value within the confines of the cbi ..no gain ,, no loss .. 

 

they can peg an exchange rate to the new lower denominations  at a different  exchange rate ,, like 100 bremmer for one new lower denomination .,, or it can be 10 bremmers  for one  lower denomination ... it depends on how many bremmers are removed from circulation  during the dollarization process .. if any at all .

 

if none are removed .. that would point to a lop ... but that doesnt mean  no gains for us ..

 

the cbi knows how many dollars  that have been released also into  circulation ... they dont show  the 155 billion dollars  in trade surplus monies  that are accumulated over the past few years  as part of the foriegn reserves ..that back this dinar .. they only show 72 billion dollars ..

 

so that 155 billion dollars added to the dollars  that were added to iraq from the dfi fund around 40 billion from 2003 till 2008 .. could be added  to the foriegn  reserves through the exhange of new lower denomination. which will add to the  value of the lower denominations ..

 

 

they will not have 30 billion new dinars at a value of 30 billion dollars with  200 billion dollars  in the foriegn reserves ..

 

i cant say anything for sure .. thats for sure .

 

 

 

it could turn out to be a 3 dollar dinar  exchangable  for 100 bremmers . or  300 bremmers .. who knows . 700 bremmers .. or 1000 bremmers

yeah thats what i thought but i searched up other currencys that said they planned to take the 3 zeros off of currency = RD just like iraq has been always saying and they were saying this in there news articals years before they really did do it
