MoD denies starting fire at Maliki's office

Baghdad (AIN) –The Ministry of Defense denied reports about fire breaking out at the office of the Commanding General of the Iraqi Armed Forces chaired by the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

The Ministry of Defense reported in statement received by AIN on Thursday "The Ministry denies any reports about starting fire at the office of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki,'' stressing that "Such reports are completely groundless.''

The Ministry of Defense called the Media Outlets to "Consider accuracy and credibility in reporting news,'' pointing out that "We are ready to host any correspondents who want to make sure of this matter.'' \END\
