THIS IS THE DAY, THURSDAY - 2/21/2013

 

(Psalm 118:24) "This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it" - 

 

Think about it, it's a brand new day that God has blessed you with, He didn't have to let you wake up, but, He did! 

 

Now, take a few minutes to thank Him for it and give Him the glory and the praise He deserves. This day was given to us fresh and clean at midnight free of charge; but beware, once its gone its gone forever. 

 

So, use this day in service to His will and commandments. Treasure the time He has given you today, don't take it for granted. 

 

Forgive the person you were, accept the person you are, and believe in the person you will become. 

 

And during this day, look for ways and opportunities to encourage, motivate, show love, kindness, comfort and support to others. For this is the day that the Lord has made. 

 

What will you do with it..? Peace and blessings..!

Thank you so much for posting this. I can't begin to tell you how much

 

I needed to read those words at this time. Been going through some 

 

really tough times and found myself down. I want you to know that God 

 

used you today to remind me once more of his awesome love. I will rejoice 

 

and be glad in this day, our God is greater than all our troubles and able 

 

to provide for all our needs. This last couple of weeks he has been moving 

 

in my heart and changing who I am. As always the old man is resisting but 

 

through his Holy Spirit I am overcoming the weak flesh. What your message 

 

reminds me of is that fear is not an option. God bless you for listening to his 

 

Spirit and reminding us of Gods love. :angel:  :bravo:  :bow:

Amen... I will add His mercy is new everyday.  Looking at the rear view mirror will not get us anywhere except crash but the windshield is much bigger and we can see what lies ahead.  So, we should run the race and look forward to what God has for us.  He is not the God of yesterday.  He is the God of now and future :)
