Interesting note, a lot of these news stories or posts are very inconsistent for example, one Iraq on the verge of chapter VII being lifted the next week Iraq is being mentioned as terrorist's. Inconsistency is instability which in turn tells me more time is required to resolve the pending issues at hand before we witness an RV.

A lot of the pressure and corrupt influence is coming from the neighboring countries. Iran, Saudi.....they all have a vested interest to see Iraq fail. Unless something drastic happens to quell all the BS, this is just business as usual.

On a side note to that: whenever there is progress made, you see all this BS pop up........so my point is, progress is being made. They just don't like it

I say these threats are nothing less than B/S!! there is too much $$ invested by the West for Maliki and his Gov't to be labeled a terrorist organization.

Thx Yota

I agree completely. They won't cut their nose off to spite their face. They want money more than peace.

maliki knows thats grounds for impeachment .. its against the iraqi constitution to be sponcering terrorism .

so if he is labled a state sponcerer of terrorism . he will be tried . maybe be hung .. he doesnt want that . :lol:/>

but progress in iraq will continue despite him being hung

BINGO! this is more pressure added on maliki to come to concede his dictatorship. he is experiencing pressure from protestors, kurds, iraqiya, and now the west. this is america's warning shot over the bow, "play ball or else." the strategic framework agreement signed by maliki explicitly states that the united states & iraq will defend iraq from enemies of its democracy both foreign and domestic. i repeat, maliki signed off on this.

all things now are pointing to maliki cutting a deal to implement erbil. the tale-tale sign of this is the article 140 money about to be delivered. article 140 must be completed before kurdistan and iraq unification can be completed. and now we see the united states & european union delegations entering iraq for meetings. there is much going on in iraq. i think we stand to see some major happenings before february closes out. plus they are talking about the national meeting again. if the national meeting is held, it is just about a nail in the coffin at the erbil agreement being executed.

these are very exciting times.

wow what an article. As long as they get rid of maliki, the US can label maliki as a terrorist as he is. But, he must be non affiliated with Iraqi government. I can't help but laugh, I don't know how many time you can create havoc and still come up with something new. If it didn't involve so many people lives you would say this soap opera is comical. But so many folks ride on his dag gum evil to turn a new leaf. Now the US is losing patience. Oh my, I could hear the gurus now.

poetical problems always yea man but the difference is one man starting them for his own benefit--these people keep trying to work things out--but a wrench is always thrown into the mix --who throws the wrench , not the blocks doing the talking it is the one who doesn't want them to form a consensus--and plays every trick he can --to to piss off any part of it---I have seen more deals cuts then in our own congress and senate only to fall apart by that one MAN--every time it is from a different angle , every time a different block but only caused by one MAN, who doesn't want to loss power or to try to get more powerful! not hard to see , not hard to know where the real problem starts with--

food for real thought!
