Baghdad –An office for currency exchange was robbed in Karrada area of central Baghdad.

Security source stated to All Iraq News Agency AIN "Unidentified gunmen stormed an office for currency exchange and stole 40,000 USD in Karrada area of central Baghdad," noting that "The gunmen managed to flee after the attack."

Security sources said that gunmen robbed a shop for banking and stole 40,000 dollars.

Police said in a press statement that "unidentified armed robbery this morning, shop in Karrada, central Baghdad, and stole 40,000 dollars after threatening her with guns, adding that the gunmen managed to escape.

"The shop owner told police the incident and opened an investigation into the incident and who stands behind it.
