Well, I am not a troop but I would like to thank you for all your good wishes and hope that everyone back in the states have a wonderful and safe Christmas.

Here at Kandahar Airfield last night the Air Force group Top's In Blue arrived and did a show. It was wonderful to see show and all the hard work the the troops put into it so that the guy's on the ground had some Christmas entertainment.

Being the young guy that I am I was reminded of the Bob Hope Christmas Shows that I would see as a kid that he would put on for the troops. And I would remember the camera looking over the sea of green suit's and see men with tears in there eye's as they watched the show and were most likely thinking of home and a loved one that they where missing.

I may not be wearing a green suit but I was reminded of seeing that as a kid because I was setting there with tears in my eye's thinking of my wife and how I wish that I was with her while I was watching the show.

Anyway I digress,

Please one and all have a safe Christmas and hug and hold your loved ones tight tonight and on Christmas morning.

I have to travel to FOB Fente tomorrow so I will be traveling in country on Christmas(that should be fun)

It is now Christmas Eve here in Afghanistan so I will say good bye and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and please remember that this is not just a time for gifts but a time to celebrate the birth of our lord Jesus Christ and to spend time with our loved ones.
