Because Talabani is really dead. I am starting to believe he has passed or is on life support and they havent made it official for what ever reason.

It appears he is on life support, possibly brain dead. But notice how maliki wants his shia bud in there. It should go to a kurd. I think we are in for a really super roller coaster ride on this one. This could really run in our favor. If Talabani is actually not able to do his job, he will be replaced. The real question is, how will they do it. Will maliki get his judge to make a new law or fight the constitution interpretation? It is going to be a crises for sure, maliki can't let a good story go to waste. Watch and see what he does in his desperation.
