James Carville Says 80% Of Democrats

Are Politically Clueless

By Clash Daily / 24 November 2012

Screen-Shot-2012-11-24-at-10.04.22-AM-300x202.png

James Carville, Democrat political consultant extraordinaire – and former Bill Clinton campaign manager, has astonishingly come out and said what all good Republicans have known for decades: Not only are most Democrats politically clueless; they’re easily manipulated by the puppet masters of their party as well. Wow. James Freaking Carville. Of all people. Here’s an excerpt, as quoted on Amazon.com:

“Ideologies aren’t all that important. What’s important is psychology.

The Democratic constituency is just like a herd of cows. All you have to do is lay out enough silage and they come running. That’s why I became an operative working with Democrats. With Democrats all you have to do is make a lot of noise, lay out the hay, and be ready to use the ole cattle prod in case a few want to bolt the herd.

Eighty percent of the people who call themselves Democrats don’t have a clue as to political reality.

What amazes me is that you could take a group of people who are hard workers and convince them that they should support social programs that were the exact opposite of their own personal convictions. Put a little fear here and there and you can get people to vote any way you want.

The voter is basically dumb and lazy. The reason I became a Democratic operative instead of a Republican was because there were more Democrats that didn’t have a clue than there were Republicans.

Truth is relative. Truth is what you can make the voter believe is the truth. If you’re smart enough, truth is what you make the voter think it is. That’s why I’m a Democrat. I can make the Democratic voters think whatever I want them to.”

Yea I would have to agree. Every time I discuss politics with a Dem they are completely bankrupt when it comes to facts or details on propositions etc. but they have no shortage of emotions so it's always uncomfortable to discuss anything political with them.

What say you marxists on this site? Agree or disagree? This may be over your pay grade but you have to back up your statement. laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif

Well, I'm no Marxist, but you're right - you do have to back up your statement.

Would you mind providing a link to the actual quote and the place and time that it was said?

Debunked

A widespread story circulating on the Internet about James Carville calling 80% of Democrats “politically clueless” has been debunked by IJ Review. Snopes had called the rumor “probably false.”

This author reached out to Mr. Carville’s office about the blistering quote and received the following response:

Mr. Becker,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Apparently the quote was falsely posted by an unknown user to a quotations website called thinkexist.com. We have contacted the website and asked them to take the quote down. James Carville never said these words, and this quote in no way belongs to James Carville.

The quote posted previously on IJ Review repeating the rumor has been removed. The author encourages other websites to dispute the rumor and to issue retractions as well if necessary. Mr. Carville is a well-respected pundit by both the political right and left, and his professional reputation should remain in tact.

Whether he did or whether he didn't makes no difference to me. Like my father says, " the truth lies somewhere in the middle."

What does matter is we have MORONS/TRAITORS who continue to support this coward-in chief. They think too highly of themselves and will go along with the "elite" marxist views thinking they are better than the rest of us. Or, they could be the product of these marxists views and are now too lazy to get out there and earn a living for themselves. They expect "life" to be handed to them.

I'm a firm believer of history repeating itself. Read up my friend it may shock you! In the end guess who wins!

Well, as I said before, I'm no Marxist.

I really don't think that the president is a Marxist either. In fact, I think he'd make a terrible Marxist. However, I am open to be persuaded.

Could you please cite the Marxist policies of the president?

Of course when Rush Limbaugh was attacked for making comments about race, slavery, and African-Americans and it was later discovered that he never said them the liberal response was basically that even if he didn't say them he still meant them. :cigar:

Clearly Democratic Socialists of America, a Marxist organization, is the driving force behind the move to socialized health care in the United States.

Through activists like John McDonough and Quentin Young, D.S.A. has been able to overtly and covertly influence many U.S. politicians, including President Bill Clinton and both of 2012′s main presidential candidates.

If U.S. medicine ever comes under full state control, the blame for that disaster can be laid squarely the door of Democratic Socialists of America.

Oh. I see you're going with the favorite - Socialized Health Care.

Is it worth pointing out that "Obamacare" was a system designed by a right wing capitalist think tank, that mirrors the plan put in place in Massachusettes by Mitt Romney as governor.

Or is it even more worthy to note that the legislation Obama pushed for, is a solution that gives more business to private insurers, rather than a single payer system.

As I said before - he would make a terrible marxist.

The New York Times Sees The Health Care Bill As Marxism. Do You?

There has been a lot of ridicule from the "Left" aimed towards Tea Party and the Right Wing Conservatives over the Health Care Bill and the accusing Obama of being a Marxist. It seems to have really rubbed the Liberals the wrong way... No matter how hard the "Right" tries,,, too many leftist simply refuse to see the Marxist Traits that Obama has...

Instead of attacking the Tea Party, calling them "Racists" or "Hate Mongers" , etc, etc, did you ever stop to think that these people were merely trying to point something out that you are not seeing? That they may actually be trying to help you?

The very core of the Marxist philosophy can be summed up with a quote from Karl himself,

"From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs."

------------Karl Marx, Communist

Marxism is all about "Class Warfare" - it is taking money from those "Greedy Rich People" and giving it to those who " who need help"... It is"redistribution of wealth" often sold to the public as "social or economic justice"

Obviously, there is more to Marxism, but to put it in those terms keeps it simple here... If you want go here to learn more ---> http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/11/prin-com.htm

Don't confuse Marxism with charity, it is far from it... Oh, and you might want to re-asses the way you define greed...Think in terms of "VALUE" not money, you might be able to see a part of the deception.

Ronald Reagan said it best,

How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin

So.......did you actually read the New York Times article???

I would be interested to see what sort of a response you would receive from its author, if you were to ask him if he thought the heathcare bill was Marxist.

The opinion piece from "Sodahead" says that the article in the New York Times is saying that the healthcare bill is Marxist.

The guy writing on Sodahead is displaying confirmation bias. That is, he thinks Obama is a Marxist, this article from the New York Times mentions "addressing economic inequality". Therefore, this article confirms my belief that Obama is a Marxist.

Of course, it does no such thing.

The statistics mentioned in the article are actually a pretty good indication that economic inequality could use some addressing.

"Obviously there is more to Marxism". Of course there is. that is the problem with trying to simplify things like this.

Based on your version of Marxism, any government that governs with a broad based, progressive taxation system is Marxist!

Should we call Reagan a Marxist? Or either of the Bush's Marxists. No! Of course not. That would be absurd.

I'll give you another quote to chew on to contrast with the quote from Marx. Incidentally, that "each according his needs" quote. There is an argument that Marx was paraphrasing the Bible. "Acts" I think it was.

"It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion"

That quote was from Adam Smith who is widely cited as the father of modern capitalism.

Snopes.com Debunked as a Hoax

January 6, 2009 by HeadChuff

Legendary urban legend debunking site www.snopes.com has been revealed to be a hoax after all.

After nearly 14 years patrolling the internet highways with a truth flashlight and de-misinformation nightstick, website owners Barbara and David P. Mikkelson finally came clean last night and admitted the whole thing was a joke.

“We never debunked anything”, Barbara sobbed “Most of the rumours on the site were actually true. We were just bored and hungry so we spent our evenings writing counter-conspiratorial guff to appease the anorak-wearing pedant in us all”

Yep using the debunked to debunk or better known as Liberal Logic
