Obama Just Re-Elected President

We all know that we are much stronger when we stand together, than when we face troubling times alone. And we all know that the greater Power above all, is still just that. So before anyone jumps off any buildings of hope while eating sour grapes... please, know that you can still make just as much difference now as ever. If you are truely scared of what is to come, then use your strength, belief and committment to pray for our President. What greater gift to give this country than to pray for the man who is charged with running it. You can be afraid... or you can trust God, no matter who is elected... and pray for God's widom in the presidents decision making.... Use your words to lift him up in prayer and hope instead of tearing him down or dooming the country because of him..... Please do not create an energy of doom for our country out of your own fears about what you think it means...

Do not give up and give in that easily to the forces who would have you believe you are doomed...Keep the hope, the belief, the prayers and the committment to stand and work together to continue pulling this country out of the abyss, and back into the Blessed home we know it to be.

Didn't matter who was going to win between the two...it was already over...just that obamas reelection will bring it faster. Prepare for totalitarianism.

How would Obama's reelection bring it faster when Romney was backed by more banksters and FED friends than Obama, and it also a bigger war hawk?

Ugh.... have seen many nasty, nasty, nasty threads on here, bashing other members, saying terrible things about this candidate or the other, and I am perplexed as to why these simingly minut posts are that big of a big deal. Let's be honest here, there isn't much "keeping of the peace" that seems to take place on the boards these days, ESPECIALLY when it involves politics. Ive been very disgusted at the nastiness of such things, but those folks dont get banned. So my question is, why all the banning for people being excited Obama is the projected winner. To each their own...I thought.

Not saying I voted for a socialist agenda, and loss of our freedoms, I guess, I just don't understand. It's as though the moderators are taking this personal. And maybe it is personal, as we are all obviously affected in one way or another... losing jobs, etc. I typically find all the Mods great people, especially Markinsa & TXGranny and Bumper, but I am wondering if we could get an explaination of what the DV mods interpretation of "gloating," is, so if someone who is excited O is still in, posts about it--doesn't get banned.

And I also wonder, since this is a primarily, or seems to be, a conservative board, would it be the same the other way around? If Romney had won? I am not trying to cause trouble. Just clarification. I don't have much to say on the election, other than to pray for our nation. My God, just pray for our country...everyday. Thanks in advance, Red

PS, if I missed something within this thread that spawned the banning, it's late and disregard. I'll re-read when I am not in the state I am in. Thanks y'all goodnight and God Bless this Coumtry. Let's pull together. Together we stand; Divided we fall.

DESIMO --- you're right.

We are now all slaves to the U.N.

....no longer a free & independent People. :(

Imagine the delight they're going to take in abusing the hell out of us...

Just like obummer's revenge plan, only on a greater scale.

he's throwing us to the wolves and delighting in doing it.

he's sick.

I am afraid we have kissed goodbye to the safety of our military, safety of our nation and our second amendment rights. I hope to be wrong but I do not see our nation surviving another 4 years with any appearance of what our Forefathers invisioned.

I don't think our 2nd amendment will be stripped (maybe an assault weapons ban), but then again, nothing would surprise me. As the Japanese Col. Said, "There will be a rifle behind every blade of grass. But the rest of it'll, yeah, in complete agreeance.

This Election was hotly contested, the majority of the members on this site lean toward the right in elections. My chief concern was to keep the conversation civil, on topic, and discussing what is going on in the Election. In any sporting contest, you don't rub your opponents loss in their face, its unsportsmanlike. Same thing here. One side won, one side lost, if the winners had any class they would understand that.

I'm not sure who was banned or for what but being excited and proud must certainly be acceptable! Right?

I have mulled this over a lot jmo but here goes...

Firstly, they are both backed by banks, the ones who own the banks of the world are the same. Frankly, I believe Obama has been so busy passing executive orders and laws that his Main focus was just that. Rewriting and amending. The executive orders alone would scare people into a united action. I digress from EOs and move to war...I consider Libya a war...tho technically a conflict. Anyways doesnt matter he has 4 more years to do just that...wage war...and dare I say against who.

All along I knew Obama would be president. For reasons that is from previous posts " to controversial". If Romney would have taken it tonight it would have slowed what is to come ...because Americans in my opinion would have Let there guard down a little wouldnt have been preparing to notice a financial collapse (which i believe is going to happen)...

I can elaborate but let me see what happens to this first

Exactly and well said!! ITs the only hope we have, if we are to overcome all we face in the next few decades... time to cowboy up and start working together....

You likewise voiced some of my questions regarding the banning.... I'm not in command and not my call and I too would not second guess the decision(s) made.... And I did want to likewise suggest that both bashing (or at least name calling) and gloating be kept out of this post... I find them both equally distasteful and neither contributes anything meaningful, constructive, or productive in terms of where we go next in supporting each other on this journey.... ;)

No one was banned, their posting priviledges were suspended for a few days for not following instructions. Nothing wrong with cheering for your candidate, just don't try to demoralize your opponents.

You have a great point and I agree. But why wasn't the same done during the debates? It seems that thoes who lean right get away with more than those who lean left.

I agree with you here. Likely because the majority of the population on this forum leans to the right. Doesn't make it fair but I suppose that's why.

Interesting and thoughtful post... and I hope you can one day have the discussion when its not too "controversial" Do you really think Romney would have slowed it down? Sometimes I think there is very little that will slow it down, and it seems one man is so small when facing such a huge agenda. I'd be interested in your theoretical /analytical thinking that leads to this conclusion and hope you can one day discuss it :D

To believers, in case you missed it, paperboy started a very encouraging thread the other day regarding this election. I recommend you read the ENTIRE article and allow your heart to be encouraged. All is not lost....

WW.

Folks,

Forgive my intrusion into your life on a weekend, but after mulling it over, I wanted to go on and send this to you. Consider it, if nothing else, a weekend devotional.

I believe Mitt Romney will win on election day. I’m somewhat stunned to be writing that as I never really thought he could win until about the moment Clint Eastwood trotted out on stage at the Republican National Convention with that empty chair. Even now I waver by the hour, but if forced to predict, I think Romney wins Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado, Wisconsin, and even Ohio. I put the Electoral College at 285 to 253. Ask me tomorrow, though, and I could decide otherwise. I cast my absentee ballot last week and voted for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

I write the rest of this now because if Romney loses, it will be viewed as “Erickson is trying to talk them off the ledge” and if Romney wins it will be viewed as “Erickson is rubbing salt in wounds.” Neither is true, which is why this must come before the election and not after.

I get the enormity of what is at stake in the election. I get it. I really do. I get the passion. I get the excitement. But, and maybe I’m just too worn out, I don’t get the anger, worry, and dread on either side. I have friends upset with me for not getting it and for not sharing it. “Don’t you know what is at stake?” they demand.

Don’t you know what is not at stake?

People on the left are convinced if Mitt Romney wins blacks will be put in chains out in cotton fields and uteruses will be locked up.

People on the right are convinced if Barack Obama wins the stars and stripes will come down, the red banner of communism will go up, and this American experiment will be promptly concluded.

My world view is pretty simple. I think this world is destined to go to hell in a hand basket by design. I think things are supposed to go to pot. So if Barack Obama wins, I won’t be upset. If Mitt Romney wins, I won’t be running through the streets cheering. I think, either way, it is all part of the design. The world is going down hill. Barack Obama re-elected just gets us down the slippery slope faster in my view. For others, it is Mitt Romney who does.

God is sovereign and He is in charge and He will return. That is my hope and my ever present expectation.

We often get so wrapped up in the view of things at ground level, we forget to look at the world from 50,000 feet. In the historic, grand scheme of things, this too will end.

Don’t confuse me with a fatalist and don’t confuse me with someone who does not really care about the future of our nation. I think we are the last best hope of mankind on this planet. But my destiny is not tied to this planet. While I am here, however, I have convictions that are greater than either candidate and either party and I fight more for a cause than a candidate. I expect, regardless of who is in the White House, I’ll find myself at odds with them, though more so with Obama than Romney.

When I wake up on Wednesday morning, I’m still going to have my wife. I’m still going to have my kids. I’m still going to have my family. And I’m still going to have my God. So will you.

Some of you, on both sides, are convinced that the end of the world is nigh. It is. But not quite yet and no one really knows when.

What I do know for sure is that I’m headed home to eternity and this world is temporary. So while I like politics and have my side and want it to win, I’m not going to be partying in the street if my side does win and I’m not going to think the end of the world is upon us if my side loses.

You should not either.

Too many of my friends have gotten so focused on the outcome and are so convinced the country as they know it is over if the other side wins that they are joyless to be around right now. They are full of dread and worry and fear. They’ve lost their sense of humor. They cannot laugh at themselves, their side, or much of anything. They are mad at others, myself included, for not being as worked up as they are. The frenzy has become a purity test, not the conviction.

God is sovereign. And whether you are for Barack Obama or Mitt Romney, set your sights on God, not November 6th, and be happy. In four years, we really will do this all over again whether right now you think so or not. There is no permanence except in Heaven.

These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

First of all, you have no idea how many "conservative leaning" members received Mod Review for not following the rules.

Second, you don't need to know!

Third, the Mods on this site work real hard to keep things civil and questioning our decisions will only result in you being put on Mod Review.

Does that pretty much cover it for you?

BRANDYCLARK -- we, too, subsribe to a theory that obummer is an illuminati hatchet man

sent to push their agenda envelope as far and as fast as he could,

in the interest of furthering their efforts to bring about NWO/OWO.

Partly to push us to the limits so they could get a better read on just how much resistance they would

encounter from us in order to better prepare to take us.

obummer has been groomed from the start as a puppet/pawn to do a considerable

amount of their dirty work.

his entire existence, road to where he is being questionable at the very least, is indicative of

their evil hand in this thing from way back.

his primary function/mission/directive has been to dismantle the USA with all due haste.

they must be very pleased with his progress.

are we close to the truth here, BRANDY...?
