I really like and respect Clint, but I think his speech was a little too much off the cuff. I found it awkward and it really didn't add much to the convention. Rubio rocked.

He interjected some HUMOR around some serious topics...., that's all. Lighten up a little! Sheeeeesh!

Thought it was great. Most importantly he reminded us that when people don't do a good job, they need to be let go!

So True. Out here in the real world if you fail, you're let go.............simple. So why would voters think another four years would be any different?

"We all know Biden is the intellect of the Democratic Party." laugh.gif

Even Ol Joe was shakin his head in agreementlaugh.gif

I loved watching him as well. And I asked my mother who is pushing 80 what she and her business associates and friends thought about it. They ALL loved it. They agreed with every word and found it to talk about the issues and get the point across. This is the PEOPLES' country and it is time to take it back.

What amazes me is all of the news casters talking about how awful it was, and how it had no place in the convention. WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY WATCHING! APARENTLY THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE PEOPLE THINK OR WANT TO HEAR. Rediculous. It is like listening to them cut down a movie or a broadway show and when you go to see it you find it is the best one of the season. They are so out of touch, or they are so in the Democratic party's pocket. I am so sick of hearing the news comintators bash good people for saying exactly what we, the middle class American People, are all thinking.

Fire him!!! If an employee isn't doing the job, replace him!:D

BTW didn't you just love that part about the lawyer and the business man. What were we thinking...LOL. It is time to have someone with some business since in the office...don't you think? Get'er done! Make my day!!!:o;)

Obama, a 'huge' Clint Eastwood fan, not offended by skit

By Susan Page, USA TODAY Updated 10h 29m ago

DES MOINES – President Obama wants to make it clear that, in his own words, "I am a huge Clint Eastwood fan."

Clint Eastwood introduced Mitt Romney Thursday night at the Republican National Convention with a 12-minute improvisation that included an "interview" with an empty chair purportedly occupied by an invisible President Obama.

"He is a great actor, and an even better director," the president said in an interview with USA TODAY aboard Air Force One, on his way to campaign rallies in Iowa Saturday. "I think the last few movies that he's made have been terrific."

However, Obama seemed less eager to review Eastwood's latest performance, on stage at the Republican National Convention Thursday. The 82-year-old Hollywood icon introduced Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney with a rambling 12-minute improvisation that included a rude "interview" with an empty chair purportedly occupied by an invisible Obama.

Was he offended?

"One thing about being president or running for president — if you're easily offended, you should probably choose another profession." Obama said with a smile. He said there would be no effort to counter with a similar stunt at the Democratic National Convention, which opens in Charlotte Tuesday.

"I think we'll be playing this pretty straight," he said. http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/story/2012-09-02/obama-clint-eastwood-skit/57520284/1?csp=34news

The folks that are mocking Clint are the Liberal, Socialist, Muslim, Obama supporting Racists that don't like what he said. It was a great script done in a somewhat cleaner Clint style.

The mockers are the haters.
