MoF to bring forward August salaries for all ministries

Tuesday, 31 July 2012 14:36 | | |

Baghdad (AIN) -The Ministry of Finance announced, on Tuesday, that the payment of the salaries for August to all Ministries will be launched on 12th to 15th of August prior to Eid al-Fitr which will be on the 18th or 19th of August.

A statement by the Ministry cited "This decision came due to proximity of Eid al-Fitr and to have enough time for the expenditure units as the date of salaries payment coincides with the holiday of the Eid." /End/

Well they get early pay but what are they getting? Hmm, I wonder. This is interesting. Let's see what happens.

Social Dinar,

This is a great article. Let's hope it is a surprise.

I too hope there is something to this. With Jaylees rumor I really hope this is it. :)

Hmm interesting !!!!!!!!

Ramadan ends with the festival of Eid al-Fitr, which in 2012 occurs on Aug. 19. Literally the "Festival of Breaking the Fast," Eid al-Fitr is one of the two most important Islamic celebrations (the other occurs after the Hajj, or pilgrimage to Mecca). At Eid al-Fitr people dress in their finest clothes, adorn their homes with lights and decorations, give treats to children, and enjoy visits with friends and family.

A sense of generosity and gratitude colors these festivities. Although charity and good deeds are always important in Islam, they have special significance at the end of Ramadan. As the month draws to a close, Muslims are obligated to share their blessings by feeding the poor and making contributions to mosques.

May be looking up ohmy.gif

And if not at-least it will get you thru 1 more month hahahahahahahalaugh.gif
