American Muslims Stone Christians in Dearborn

Sports...please tell me if what I'm seeing is incorrect. A group of Christians walked into a Muslim neighborhood and basically taunted them by propagating their own religion. The Muslims, mostly children, then retaliated? Is this correct?

Do you think this is unusual behavior?

If say, a group of Muslims went to say a place that young non-Muslims hung out and walked down the American street with signs showing their support for Muhammad, what would the reaction be? All you need do, is read the posting on youtube under this particular video to guess.

But guess what, this happens EVERY Year in Northern Ireland, but this time it is between two Christian denominations: Catholics and Protestants. And it's been going on for generations. :(

Don't believe me:

It's human nature to react this way, regardless of which religion one is. If you taunt another’s belief, well, be prepared.

Curious, why did you feel a need to post this? What reaction were you expecting to get from this crowd?

Um............this is America!

It may have been a muslim arab convention......that doesn't matter. I have been to many organized Christian events that have seen other religions there sharing their faith. I have never seen anything like this period. Ireland is not apples and apples comparison. Appearantly you want to ignore facts, and the fact that muslim parents didn't stop their kids. Also very few were small children.

So I suppose you are going to tell me that the muslim religion is peaceful and loving?

The Christians were sharing the truth of the Word of God, that is all, and they had every right to be there sharing their faith. The actions of the muslim mob is despicable, and arrests should have been made, for rioting and assalt/battery charges with addition of hate crime.

Now all these stupid people think they can riot and hurt people to get their way just like in their native arab lands. What is next................bombs?

Christians share the truth and their faith, muslims kill for their faith.

Yep....use their children to attack what they dont like.

Next step, strap bombs on them, and shoot at the infidel

from behind women and the walls of their mosque

Hmmm...yes, Pumpkin, I can see it's America. I can tell by how fat everyone is. :P

Do I condone their actions, of course not, but I think these Christians were looking for a fight. You don't go to a Rodeo without expecting to hop on top of something wild now do ya there Champ? ;)

Oh and lets see, what are those sayings (i.e. dogma) you Christians are so fond of saying but find it difficult living up to? Anyone? Anyone?

Ok, well then I guess I'll have to remind you:

Matthew 5:39: But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

Luke 6:29: If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also.

John 8:7: Let he who has not sinned caste the first stone.

Not too bad for an Atheist, eh? :D

Native arab lands, eh? So um...would you mind pointing out which tribe your from there Tonto?

O.K, I can see your in one of those moods again, so I'll just leave you to it Sugar, after all

You can't see anything, because you are drowning in the abyss of you own deceptive thought process. These Christians were not looking for a fight, they were there to lead people to Christ.

These guys also did take the beating and did not retaliate. Your comments are invalid, and you quote verses from the Bible from a mis-guided point of view which is meaningless, yet you are proud of yourself for it.

I take your comment "Tonto" as a racist comment and am offended by it. I think we can see who the haters are.

The bible quotes were directed at you Luv not them. :)

And as far as the “Tonto” labeling....well, obviously my brilliant and whimsical paradox was overtly wasted on you, so maybe instead, I’ll just put it to you in a way that you can, just possibly, grasp:

still feeling so proud of yourself to no avail, and you would be better off removing the tree trunk from your own eye before you bother even looking to see if I have a spec in mine.

you would also be better off trying to apply the Bible to your own life, instead of disrespecting it and then attempting to use it against others, again to no avail.

Again you are a hater, and resort quickly to name calling........nice.

so you just downplay and sidestep your racist insult, and are you implying that Tontos (American Indians) are sad, strange little men that need your pity?

Tiffany. as a wife of a retired US Vet....you claim( don't know if its true or not as your lies all run together)_that your Father was/is a retired General or a Col. in the US Army.. In fact you say you were stationed at Ft. Campbell at one time.. yes if memory serves me correctly, you even had a Corvet at Ft. Campbell. Do you remember that? Well this is were I was born and raised.... I guess my question to you is: if He were such a fine patriot and such a notarized official, how did he end up with the likes of you????? Is he retired now and disownes or dis-acknowledges any association? I know my husband would completely be appalled with and not have any trust in a son or daugther that displayed or spoke the evils that you speak. I have become sickened of your antics, your lies and your evilness to turn others astray....you live in another country...stay there...... and don't bring your fifth back to the USA.

Amen to that, and +1 to you.

True that.

This is america where everyone has the right to free speech anywhere in this country. Both groups actions clearly made evident Jesus words when He said, "you shall know them by their fruits." Would any Muslim here care to defend Islam as a religion of peace? It was very telling what Christians are in for by watching the inaction of the police. The enemies of Christianity didn't miss a beat... They were right here blaming the victims, and trying to justify the blame by connecting it to a totally unrelated situation across the atlantic. All true Christians know that violence is unchristian whether its either in the name of Catholicism or Protestantism. Concerning the violence in ireland, Christianity has been taken hostage, and forced to go along for the ride, but it is not at the wheel. Violence, whether by stone or by gun is evil...

Period!!!

I'm always amazed at how people attempt to correlate Christianity by the actions of a few unbalanced people with violence when any rational person can clearly see what Muslims are continually doing around the world today, and the patron saints of secular humanism Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Kim Jong Ill, Ceaucescu, Hitler, created a

beautiful and loving utopia for all of humanity. Lets hear it for socialism, and facism... What a wonderful world It is when godlessness rules.

Watching the cops sit idly by is a preview of what Christians are in for, I suspect we are very close to a new era of Christian martyrdom that is currently under full swing

in Muslim countries.

Persecution just makes us stronger, and it should be evident by now that no one can destroy Christianity, not the roman emperors, not Napolean, Not Islam, and not

science.

Black swan with all due respect it really chafes looking at the Christian symbol in your avatar when you display such clear contempt for the religion it symbolizes.

I reject the "Freedom of Speech" argument in this case! I have always had a problem with missionaries who think it is not only their right, but their duty to spread their version of the "Truth". But in this case, these folks were not "sharing the Word", they were PROTESTING AGAINST ISLAM!! You don't think a fight would break out if several Muslims walked into an Easter service and started shouting passages from the Koran?

I feel strongly that this situation is similar to shouting "FIRE" in a theater. Or "fighting words" as is now accepted by our judicial system, and for good reason. Christians do NOT have a monopoly on the truth, but I'll ask you within the context of the more gentle and kind teachings in the New Testament, were actions of the protesters something Christ would have done?

In my opinion, No One has the right to go anywhere they like and shout religious doctrine. It kills me that people feel the need to have everyone else believe the same as they do. I just don't get it. Faith should be a personal experience, not a public event. And a "State Religion" is a crime against humanity.

Bring on the Negs.

Peace and Prosperity anyways

I'm sure I'm gonna get negged to the sky for my thoughts on this, but I figure I can afford it. Please do read thru what I have to say.

I'll start by saying that I am a "Christian" and I believe I have eternal life because Christ died and rose again the third day to pay for the sin I was born into and the sin I have committed by my own hand.

I was educated as a fundamentalist Christian and I really struggled, right from the beginning, with the "door to door" ministry. I felt that it was wrong to invade people in their homes. Jesus never went door to door, as far as we know. I'm thinking if that is a vital ministry style, then somebody in our New Testament would have a record of Jesus doing exactly that. In our culture, you have to cross a line to shut the door on someone who isn't being downright rude or dangerous. So you're sucked into your time being taken so that you aren't downright rude, whether you're interested or not.

Christ lived a holy life. He went to where people gathered. Those who wanted what He had to offer followed him, and those who didn't could go home. Throngs of people followed him wherever He went, and his active ministry was only three years.

I just think that Christian people who think it's appropriate to go into a Muslim neighborhood and preach Christ are kind of asking for it. Given what we know about this religion of intolerance and hatred of the "infidel", I mean, really. How stupid could they be? I don't think what happened is right, but I think it was to be expected.

We're giving Muslims a preferred status in our country now, and too many people think we should just give them a wide berth. As we do that, if we expect a wide berth from Muslims, we're just stupid.

I think it is much more useful to live a life of service like Christ did. To endeavor to be holy like He was while on this earth. To touch people and make them want what you have in a meaningful way. To take soup to the poor, and share Christ with people as you develop meaningful relationships. The problem is, most fundamentalist Christians aren't doing a very good job of that. They tend to be judgmental and self-righteous, and who wants that?

What these people did was just stupid. I think the outrage is wasted. Outrage pointed in the wrong direction.

Just my never-to-be-humble opinion.

I guess no one told the Muslims that they are in America now. But they should know about free speech; they take advantage of it themselves often enough.

Yep....use their children to attack what they dont like.

This isn't the "next step." They've already done that many times, and all it will take is one too many instances of American free speech, and they will try to do it here, too.

---------They do - take a look in NYork where they tied the traffic up to have a prayer.Take a look and watch them burn OUR FLAG and we have to stand by and watch.Everything they cant do in their own country they do here because we are Free.DONT EVER FORGET THAT WORD.Someday we might now be able to say this word. I know this is a touchy subject but we didnt bring it up.They did it themsaelves. If we went and lived in their country you CAN BET YOUR LIFE that you will NOT do these things that we have to watch and live. Whatever happened when you became a US Citizen that yopui took an oath to UPHOLD the Laws of our land? Where did that go and by god you better do what your supposed to do or you will go to jail and we still go to jail for standing for the Truth---What you are seeing is the TAIL WAGGING THE DOG. Try that on my dog and see what happens. Maybe we should look at this in a different light.

Christ died that ALL might be saved. Muslims can be saved too, that was the purpose of the outreach, but not unless they hear and respond to the truth.

you can call these Christians "stupid", I can call them faithful, willing, obedient & courageous.

In all that, maybe you are "lukewarm"? You know what Jesus says about that?
