Check out the cams at www.ruidoso.net or www.skinewmexico.com. They are tough to watch. Ski Apache is one of my favorite places to ski. I love the mountain and the Native Americans that own and run the resort. Ruidoso is my second home. I grew up on the mountain.

I have been chatting with others and it appears that the fire is progressing west of Alto and is not contained. The high winds have caused the progression. There is no loss of humane life though I'm certain that our many of our creatures have been affected. Please send a prayer out to those that live in the area.

31 years ago my husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at the the Inn of the Mountain Gods was hoping post RV to go back love Ruidosa. Will keep them in my prayers

Ruidoso is not in the path of the fire today. The path of the fire is north of town, specifically the mountain. The Lake Bonito area is pretty much toast from what I have read. Pray for rain and the monsoon season. Thanks peeps.
