I sense there is something going on. I'm surprised Paul made it this far with his message. The PTB are not a very tolerant or forgiving group. They are hoping to cut the head from the snake, and silence the movement. They tried manipulating his exposure through the media, and this did not work. The only logical step would be to quiet him up...or else!

The PTB will do whatever it takes, without restrictions, to put their GOP clown in office. The favor that the GOP maintains among its sheeple is clear evidence that: 1.- Brainwashing does work. 2.- The American people are not capable of connecting the dots between past GOP failures (Bush economic model) and our current economic problems. 3.- through brainwashing, wars of imperialism can be perpetuated well into the future without any internal national interference. 4.-The debt caused by the overprinting of dollars that continues to enrich the power structure in Washington, can easily be made to look to the American people like it's "their" debt...by simply telling them repeatedly that it is, until they accept it.

That does answer a lot of questions but now their just replaced with new ones. He must have been very close to actually threatening the establishment for this to happen. Sad. Alex is right - I'd like to hear it from Ron Paul himself.

Those excuses are some good opinions but do you have proof that he was threatend? IMO you guys are making excuses that Rand jump ship and Dr Paul decided to do what's best for the Party. Now he has asked for calm and respect, now will the rest of the his supporters go Rogue like you guys are heading?

-Caught chewing gum in class in the 3rd grade.

-Did not cross his tees & dot his i on an essay in grammer school.

-Missed Sunday School two weeks in a row at age 6.

-Defended himself after being bullied in high school.

-Had over 20 items in shopping cart in the fast check out line at Piggly Wiggly.

-Had a mixed drink at his wedding reception.

This guy has got to go. Only draft dodgers, illigal aliens, America bashers & Socialists need apply.
