Good luck Gang sad that the government won't protect us from

This but it's NEVER. Going to hit. Good luck selling my remaining 25illion dinar to Ali. This is a scam. I promise. It's a scam and will never hit. Go ahead and say all you want question me all you want but these guys are here to make money Ali sells on rumor. Period made millions off of all of us. It's not going to hit. Good luck. Sold my stuff an I am out.

This reminds me of a flight (flight attendant here!) that I had years ago...we had a mechanical on the plane and sat on the tarmac for about an hour before we were escorted to a gate. The passengers were good about the mechanical except one passenger. He "b..." and complained, threw a tantrum, and said a few choice words about the airline. I moved him to the first row of the plane where he would be more comfortable and out of the way of the other passengers, but he continued. The captain came on the intercom and thanked everyone for being patient, but it would take a little longer than he expected to fix the problem.. He explained that there was another plane leaving in 10 minutes to the same destination, however, that flight was full and they would have to "stand-by". You guessed it, that "cranky" passenger gladly got off, complaining. Not five minutes later, our mechanical was fixed. We closed the door and were on our way, minus one cranky passenger. He lost twice that day, he should have stayed with our plane that took-off without him, and he did not get on the second plane that took off without him because the flight was full.

PATIENCE, PATIENCE, PATIENCE!!!

Sounds like he's trying hard to convince himself that what he did was brilliant, not insanely stupid. One should never launch out without counting the cost, there is nothing that has happened new that isn't relatively encouraging, certainly nothing to change the general premise of a RI/RV shortly.

This is what happens when we let our emotions and fear guide us, both getting in and getting out of such an important opportunity.

Unfortunately, he has taken the "throw the baby out with the bathwater" approach here, made a final decision and tossed all of it, without hedging his bets in the least.

To me, this is a perfect description of impetuous, fool-hearty and a lack of any kind of business grounding or financial wisdom. The risk is so tiny compared to the reward potential and the history, current status and the media confirmation that this is shortly to occur.

A good example of what not to do, and of course most people will recognize such a foolish, yet bold statement for what it is, another person losing all hope and judgment due because the can't endure the torture of waiting and the sea of lies and misinformation. This is what happens when folks take people like Okie too seriously and let themselves be blown around by every wind.

This poor guy has no rudder on his ship and he thinks his fate was to drift endlessly in the ocean, so he took the safe way and ran his ship aground, now he's stuck back on another island, different setting, same situation. In truth, even less hope.

His perceived hope is the problem. He had hope but not enough established faith in the process. The more you research and learn on your own, the less impact misinformation and guru pumping is gonna have on you.

I'm glad to see that most people reject this doomsday nonsense, he is reverse pumping, and to me that is 1000 times worse that pumping. The end result for those who have no Dinar is no change, nothing new, little hope due to the collapse of our economy. If the Dinar doesn't revalue, then most all countries will be bankrupt shortly, I'd rather take that option knowing that I'm in good company with those that must protect their interest (and in so doing protect ours).

What slays me is the attitude of guys like this, I feel for them, but it's quite obvious that it's a knee jerk action based on frustration. Bad move, he could use some good counsel, besides his own... it's hard for us to see ourselves and perceive how our emotions are steering us the wrong way, though it feels right at the time.

JMHO, nothing personal intended, it could happen to any of us if we don't stay focused on the basics and our potential future. I have too much to lose by walking away, so for me it's never an option. If they scam me, at least I won't be alone.

If that happens, we can all form a huge coalition and sue Iraq and our Treasury through the Hague if necessary. We can demand payment and press our fellow citizens to help support the international effort to hold these corrupt bankers and the secret cabal they represent accountable for the theft of Trillions of Dollars that is rightfully and legally ours upon the RV.

We cannot expect our corrupt leaders to protect us, that's not their agenda whatsoever. They will protect themselves (that's why we will have an RV that produces an internationally traded currency -- they're establishing the basis for a new global currency and the Dinar is pivotal... no matter what.)

To conclude, I would say this poor guy's response is a byproduct of looking too closely and focusing on the wrong information and thoughts. Filling your head with negative thoughts and fears of an impending disaster is good to ponder briefly, consider it and account for it and move on. Don't sit and wallow in BS and hype, unsupported claims that puff you up momentarily, the real thing will be all about action and facts, not talk.

Unfortunately, once the real thing does happen you won't have a ticket to ride the bus. Like the guy who swam half way across the river, decided he couldn't make it then swam back. Think about it.

I think all of us get frustrated with this investment sometimes. But no matter what, this isn't a get quick investment. I've held dinar since 2006, and I believe I am sitting on a 40% profit (prior to cost for selling it). So I don't feel I've lost anything yet. That's just my 2 cents.

What is frustrating is watching people continue to fall for all the BS that pumpers put out to increase sales. So many people have gotten into this with money they couldn't really afford to lose but saw it as a get rich quick investment. The pumpers have used many tactics including religion to pump sales. Although the bible tells use that God is not the author of confusion these pumpers thrive on confusion and misdirection to pump up sales. Remember when they created the story that the dealers where running out of dinar and then all of a sudden there was no longer a shortage of dinar. We all keep hoping this thing hits soon but there are so many that run out and buy more every time there is another rumor. And as long as that continues I see no reason for the value of the dinar to change either.

After I finished working in dubai I sold quite a bit as I did go overboard in buying this, not on breaking finances just more than i needed.

Stayed away from this and many other sites for quite some time until recently until i read fox news about this being a not so good investment.

Included link here.

Came back to these sites and seen the same old song and dance being said.

Rv monday etc.

http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/2012/02/22/iraqs-dinar-still-stuck-in-wild-west-currencies/

I do hang onto a bit in case it does RV, as they advertise in USA today news paper from time to time.

So if its a scam I think Bernie Madoff will be a petty larcenist compared to this deal.

Best of luck to all of us.

I just read the article and I dont see anything new in there.

You have to understand that Iraqi Dinar is not an investment but more a currency trade.

Those who do currency trade knows that the risks are higher than a normal investment.

I think the WF is rigth when they issue a warning about IQD as an investment.

We all know the political risks in Iraq and the political risks in the whole regions.

The currency is not trad-able electronically yet...

and its less liquid. Meaning that you might got get the price you want as easily if you want to sell fast.

What they didnt take into account is all trading companies that exists.

But if they would all close their shop as Ali did a while ago.

It would create a panic in the dinar holders.

I dont see myself going to the middle east to exchange my currency.

but like in all transaction you always weight the risks with the potential profit.

Never invest more than you can loose or wait years to get a return.

thats my 2 cents

Funny..............................I don't even miss him :D

miss who???...

I'm selling all my dinar, cry in my beer, go to the woods and eat worms and pout...on second thought...I have a better idea...I think I will keep my dinar, enjoy an occasional beer (not many), dig up the worms, go fishing and remain pessimisstically optimistic...I lost a LOT MORE in the stock market than I can ever lose in this ride...stay strong, if it doesn't

blossom in a few days so what...look for better days ahead...quitters never win and winners never quit :) :) :)

....... This is what happens when folks take people like Okie too seriously and let themselves be blown around by every wind.

and sadly, there are LOTS of people who think just like this... :(:o:o

That's why those of us who watch from the sideslines have an obligation to speak responsibly and post things that are factual (as the best we can).

Rumors are just that and should be taken as entertainment. The problem is when the dinar holders by the thousands (literally) turn to entertainment that TICKLES THEIR EARS from the likes of Okie, Dan & Tony of P-T-R , Footforward and a host of other "gurus" who parade themselves as Iraqi dinar connoisseurs whereby their OPINIONS are taken as "dinar bible fact". It's not and far from ever being true. I don't know what these people get in return from behaving like this (money, kickbacks, free dinar, inflated ego or whatever it is), but those of us paying attention need to just keep in mind that there are ALWAYS newbies coming into this by the droves and we need to accurately present to them real information. I've heard of people going as far as killing themselves due to this not happening fast enough and them being in dire financial straits, needing medical help or legal trouble. When it gets to that point, enough is enough.

Sometimes, it's just a bit too much and it bothers me that if someone like myself suggest that some of us (on here) should behave a bit more maturely regarding what we post and quit feeding into this madness, it's countered with harsh words/crirticism and/or "phantom neg's".

I don't subscribe to the original poster's sentiments, but I am not shocked by them either. We can all help in our own way by decreasing the amount of exposure some of these so called "gurus" get "on the boards" and conference calls by minimalizing their importance. It just makes no sense to me how in the world people like OKIE can still be getting hits to his website and people signing up to hear lies, day after day after day...on an hourly basis (the same is true for P-T-R, 3 S Intel and The Big Call Groups)..."This isn't my first rodeo" with these people. I sniffed them out a while ago.
