During a reception of a number of Kurdish journalists yesterday on the Kurdish Journalism Day, Barzani said “we will not allow Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki, to bring F16 fighters by all means.” He added “carrying any weapon or bloodshed of Kurds, would be for the independence of Kurdistan.” Barzani stressed that he will use all means against the eruption of civil war or the return of internal fights, in case he could not do that, then, he would “leave Kurdistan.” He confirmed that he does not mind discussing the issue in person with Maliki, but “those discussions would not lead any significant results, because Maliki will not fulfill his obligations.” ---------------------> so they are going the full all out " no one gets this or that " mode ---- wonder what the future will bring now -------- somebody better step up too the plate and throw down a big fist full of r.v. dinar and pull this country together -------- or they could just go on the way side and no confidence for maliki and shut the door on g.o.i for another year ,,,,, when is this next election ? time for the people tooo line up and get that finger painted again ---- and pick a better guy

KamelKeeper
Iraq.....bought by the Kurds.....probably the best thing that could happen to them. I vote for that purchase, but until Iraq is out of CVII, they can buy all the tanks and planes they want to, but they can't buy bullets or missiles per the sanctions.

You mean you didn't see him? He was the guy wearing a helmet and smoking an RV cigar. He would be easy to miss he rarely shows up for meetings. But he is a hell of a military shopper for Iraq. He's looking forward to the shipment of bullets in June or is it July?
