JamieS
Any idea how a devaluation of the dollar by 33% will affect the dinar? article link http://www.forbes.com/sites/charleskadlec/2012/02/06/the-federal-reserves-explicit-goal-devalue-the-dollar-33/
one2one
it should not affect the dinar since there is no RV yet----IMO
20MillionDinar
If they remain pegged to the US dollar and there is in fact an "overnight" 33% devaluation of the US dollar, well then, guess what would happen to the IQD... The article says devaluation of the US dollar throughout a 20 year period, this is barely even noticeable. I wouldn't be surprised if we have been on this track for quite some time now. How much did it cost for a gallon of milk 10 years ago? How much does it cost for a gallon of milk now? JamieS
There would be No RV I believe, because the dollar is the backing world currency. And the contracts over in Iraq are heavily dollar based, not to include the billions that we have given the country.
