Talabani receives congratulation letter from China’s President on the success of Baghdad Summit

Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani receive a letter from his Chinese counterpart, Hu Jintao, on the success of the Arab Summit and Iraq presiding over the Arab League’s 23rd Session.

In his letter, President Jintao said that in light of deep changes western Asia and northern Africa are witnessing, the Arab League, being an important regional organization, plays an important role to keep up with these changes and protect the area’s peace and stability.

He added, we must express our gratitude for the progress the Arab-Chinese relations have achieved in recent years.
