He said in a press statement today: 'The government was unable to provide day services for the Iraqi people and especially with regard to the security file. There is NO way he would throw in the towel before the big Summit, the only way I can see this being true is if they're in a crunch to get things done and he was forced to leave. But I hope he is gone and we can get a government. I would love to be wrong about Maliki but too many people have died, been put in jail, been tortured in secret prisons under his watch.
