E. 1999 Posted February 4, 2012 Report Share Posted February 4, 2012 BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Parliamentary Ahrar Bloc announced collecting 123 signature from different political blocs to add in the general budget, eliminating parts of the revenues and distributing to some segments of the Iraqi society, threatening not to vote for the budget if this paragraph not included. Head of the Bloc Baha' al-Araji reminded that Sadrist leader Muqtada al-Sadr demanded three conditions, namely, cutting off some of the revenues to be distributed to the Iraqi people, creating not less than 50,000 work opportunities and distributed fuel free of charge to generators' owners till electricity networks are fixed. He added that two of these conditions were met by the parliament, the fuel supply and work opportunities. Araji said that his bloc was able to acquire 123 parliamentary signatures to add an article in the general budget to cut off part of oil revenues to be distributed on some social segments, which are approximately, will not exceed 2 billion dollars.
