PatriotMike Posted February 3, 2012 Report Share Posted February 3, 2012 An undisclosed amount of U.S. cash and Iraq currency known as Dinar is missing from a home in the 3000 block of Heron Point Court in Waterford Township after a break-in earlier this month. Police were contacted about the home invasion at 8:33 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14. “Sometime overnight, someone broke into the home while the homeowner was away by shattering the rear doorwall glass of the home,” states information from the Waterford Township Police Department. “A fire safe was stolen from the master bedroom.” The cash and Iraq currency were in the safe, though police are not specifying how much. Images showing what the Iraqi money looks like has been released by police. “If you have any information on this incident or have encountered someone with Dinar in their possession, please call Waterford Police Detective Novak at 248-618-7515 ,” states the police department.
