An expert is likely to issue a strict Security Council resolution on Iraq because of the embassy targeting
Baghdad / news
The President of the Republican Center for Strategic Studies, Moataz Mohiuddin, suggested that a strict Security Council resolution against Iraq would be issued because of the targeting of the US embassy if Washington raised the issue.
Mohiuddin said in a press statement, "The US government has more than once warned the Iraqi government that it is concerned with protecting the embassy. It has also warned the armed factions of this matter."
Mohieddine said that "the Iraqi government seems to have no choice but to stand by and that some security leaders resort to silence about this." And a second return to the issue of Iraq and its inability to protect diplomatic missions, which could lead to a Security Council resolution against Iraq, may be strict. "
"On the other side, Washington could resort to delivering specific strikes to some of these factions," he said.
