Central Bank: $ 190 million currency sales by Sunday auction Central Bank of Iraq - Basra Branch 19 May 2019 02:46 PM The Central Bank of Iraq (CBE) data showed a rise in the value of sales of foreign currency in the auction held on Sunday to 190.02 million dollars, compared with the sales of the auction last Thursday, amounting to 187.45 million dollars, an increase of 2.57 million dollars. The exchange rate was 1190 dinars per dollar, according to data from the Central Bank, in the auction held with the participation of 33 banks, as well as one financial transfer company. The Central Bank said that the sales executed are results on Monday, indicating that the total sales totaled 217.74 million dollars. The Central Bank of Iraq, the volume of funds sold to strengthen the bank balances abroad amounted to $ 188.52 million, while the total cash sold $ 1.5 million. In an auction on Thursday , data from the Central Bank of Iraq showed the value of foreign currency sales to $ 187.45 million, compared to Wednesday's auction sales of $ 179.21 million. -
