A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, said in a statement: "Iraq has been chosen as the president of the Social Forum of the Human Rights Council for the year 2021, represented by Ambassador Abdul Karim Hashim Mustafa, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the United Nations Office in Geneva, to occupy the position of President of the Forum, to be held in 2021 / 10/5".
