Abadi's goes to New York next week 5 hours ago (Reuters) - Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Tuesday he would travel to New York next week to attend meetings of the UN General Assembly. Abadi said at his weekly press conference, following the cabinet meeting, that he would go to New York next week to attend the UN General Assembly for three days. "We aspire to meet with the largest number of world leaders to discuss the reconstruction of Iraq," he said. Abadi also pointed out that "the government stands on great security and economic achievements in its third year," stressing that "the government is reaching strategic results against corruption, and we have established a real and criminal action to fight the corrupt."
