Iraqi authorities expect hundreds of people pouring into Baghdad in the "those who killed me" protests 2021-05-24 15:38 Shafaq News / The Iraqi authorities expected the flow of hundreds of demonstrators tomorrow, Tuesday, to the capital, Baghdad, to participate in protests that will start under the slogan "Who killed me?" To demand the disclosure of the killers of their fellow protesters and activists. A security source told Shafaq News, "The information received by the security forces indicates that the number of demonstrators who will go from Babil Governorate to Baghdad ranges from 750 to 1000 people." He added that "they will take wheels, buses, facilities, buses, and wheels of a Kia type for logistical support, and their passage will be on the Baghdad Hilla highway," indicating that "the gathering place will be Nisour Square." The source pointed out that "nearly 100 people have already gone to Baghdad to spend the night, fearing that the roads will be closed." In Najaf, the source said that "the demonstrators will gather near the bridge of the twentieth revolution, and 6 buses will transport them from Najaf to Baghdad," indicating that "each bus will have a representative of the activists and is responsible for the movement of the wheels." He added that "the leaders of the demonstrators will go to Baghdad by their own wheels and not by buses, to avoid arrests or not being allowed to enter the capital." The source pointed out that "the gathering point for all demonstrators will be in Andalus Square, and then they will go to Tahrir Square," noting that "there will be a pause in Tahrir and then march towards the Supreme Judicial Council."
