Mubasher: The US House of Representatives Budget Committee approved a $ 1.9 trillion bill for Corona aid, paving the way for it to be passed through the House later this week.
Today, Monday, the Parliament's Budget Committee presented the bill by 19 votes to 16 against.
Democrats are struggling to pass the stimulus package this weekend, before the March 14 deadline for the end of unemployment benefits payments.
Democrats aim to accelerate the distribution of the Corona vaccine and support more than 18 million people receiving unemployment benefits in the United States, in turn, Republicans support funding to boost vaccination efforts, but they questioned the need for a massive relief package like the one the Democratic Party wants to pass.
