Good Morning Dinar Vets, here's an opinion & comment by Kaperoni that might be of interest to you. Remember, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They are simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq. RON *** Kaperoni *** I believe there are two possible end results for the Iraqi dinar. The first, or the easy way is for them to LOP or re-denominate. The other option, and I would hope that this would be the direction that they would go is to float the currency as Iraq's economy begins to succeed. There is no 3rd option or RV option. There is simply too much currency in circulation for them to significantly overnight RV. Hopefully Iraq will pass the necessary laws to create a suitable investment climate for foreign investors to come in and build a strong market economy private sector. Doing so would create the conditions for the central bank to get off the peg that they are currently on and Float the currency allowing it to gradually appreciate based on sound monetary principles of supply and demand. RON *** MilitiaMan *** ...I am sure the event we await is looking to be in motion more and more each day...there are so many indicators that point to it. Iraq has to the best of my knowledge notified the BIS they are to raise the value of their currency, imo...The BIS has in return, also with the same sentiment have notified other banks of that action and we learned that by PINGs noticed around the world recently...Those pings are reactionary and necessary...

Next week, the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, will start an official visit to the United States of America, at the head of a government delegation, based on an official invitation." So in other words, get the reforms done before you leave... This I like...imo.

Because the dinar is one of the assets backing the USD (THAT'S HUGE). ...half of Iraq 's fiscal year start's 10/1...US's fiscal year starts 10/1...Iraq can only change their rate at the begging of a new fiscal period...That's why the (White Paper) reforms are linked to a budget (require funding). The HCL is a REFORM (oil payments to citizens) that requires budget funding. Iraq 's current constitution only goes to article 139, they have to amend the constitution and add both HCL & ARTICLE 140 to it. Both 140 & HCL have been approved since 2005 and can't be implemented until the rate changes. Those are some of the WHITE PAPER REFORMS waiting on the rate change budget approval for the 2nd half of their year... If Iraq doesn't Change their rate in September, then were waiting until March of next year. I'm ready for this thing to be done...! RON

If you think about this, this is towards the end of August...then they will have the rest of September, all of October and then elections the first couple of days in November. Man if I was Trump, if I wanted to make some people very very happy and you wanted to give some kind of boost to economies around the world, I could think of a way...how about we just reinstate that $3.22 right there.. Why don't they just go ahead and change the rate? I'm sure that'll be a pretty big boost don't you think? I surely do. A big help for us would be for you to once again recognize our sovereignty and then please remove the restrictions off our currency and let us reinstate our rate so that we can start importing all the supplies we need to do infrastructure.' We know the Prime Minister is greatly interested in the border crossing file, and there is a real will to control it to serve the citizens with the revenue that can be generated from it.

Article quote: "Dr. Allawi said the the new Iraqi government is committed to submitting a wide-ranging White Paper to Parliament in September 2020 which will set out a roadmap to reorient the Iraqi economy..." They're telling you right here it's going to be submitted to parliament in September 2020...doesn't get any more clear than that... And away we go...Good Monday Morning Everyone...Be blessed..! RON

RON *** Frank26 *** ...We believe Iraq is about to make a very huge payment in the form of IQD...We don't know who. We don't know why. But we do know it's a very huge payment (billions and billion) and it will be in the form of IQD's. It might be a payment to Kuwait. It might be to Saudi Arabia. They either already made this payment in IQD's...Or they're in the process of doing it. IMO this is because somebody knows the new exchange rate of the IQD is coming. To receive payment in Iraqi dinars in a large amount like that it is very indicative of someone knows something about that currency. It's pretty obvious isn't it? ...I bought my dinar on April of 2004. I've had my currency going on 17 years and no where in those 17 years did I ever ever feel that the exchange rate was that eminent as I feel it right now. The evidence is very clear...somebody knows...

RON *** Pimpy *** Article: "Iraq receives international support to remove its name from the list of high-risk countries" Right here we have one group of people saying they have removed Iraq off a special list blacklisting them and then we have the EU saying they have blacklisted them. Here's the thing, don't be confused by them. All that's really gonna matter is what Trump says... Quote: "..Iraq receives support from some European counties to remove its names from the list of high-risk countries." This is good for them...one group said let's remove them. The other group said, no we're gonna keep them on there. Now we have this...it looks like indeed they're about to be removed. So this is all good news. This is what we're looking for. This is a step in the right direction.

But the numerous recalculations did not agree with 50 cents. It agreed with being on par with the American dollar 1-to-1. One to one at the onset - at the announcement of their new exchange rate. Later they will float the Iraqi dinar in order to increase its international value. That's where we come in IMO. Walkingstick and I feel that this 50 cents information was leaked on purpose, but now it is of no value compared to the true value... I wonder where they are getting their information...But I hope it's true...Ron

However, I am seeing there are prospects and potential that maybe early to mid-August a window is opening up. There is a real possibly to see some real news of the “project do delete the zeros” again in the news media and it will come out shortly. ...Rumors are floating around that they are now discussing this revaluation process and want to start it. Parliament wants about 1 dinar to .50 cents and so they argue... Remember parliament does not make financial policy and so the CBI will determine and will make recommendations (and have the final say). I do not think it will come out with anything that low and it will be around 1.00 (plus or minus .20 cents). Yes, they will have to sell the new rate to parliament and may even ask for a vote. But this is all now surfaced and underway. ...They are now deciding what to do and when to do it. This is all fantastic news! WOW..!

They have to enforce the need for the local economy to support the endeavor of changing the value of the IQD. Nothing new, but, now that it will be fresh it is reinforcement of the plan...They need the investors to be on board and that comes with sound banking...imo!

RON *** Jeff *** Article: "Al-Kadhimi: We have a plan to reform the financial and administrative system to free itself from oil slavery" Prior to June they were just coming out telling you they really needed to do things to improve their economy, attract and promote investment, that kind of thing...started in July they dialed in a little deeper on all that...They came out with the "white paper" - remember the white paper is the roadmap for the whole rate change and the whole economy structure. It's how they want their economy going forward but it also has everything in it for the rate change as well...it's very important to watch and observe what they do and what they tell us right now...

Here we are again with another commentary on decreasing value of the dinar. That is off the table as a solution and the CBI knows it. We all know that lowering the dinar value reduces the PP [Purchasing Power ?] of all Iraqi's and that is "not" the direction they are going as evidence in the actions being taken with the "White Paper!!" ...So, relax, the plan is afoot and great things are coming. Posts like this to me are educating the citizenry why they will "not" devalue their currency as the plan is to provide even greater PP then they have ever seen! To me, this is a friendly reminder of why they are focused on a better future!!! All IMO...

RON *** Ray *** ...Major security operations were launched Saturday to secure the borders and stop the theft and corruption being controlled by Iran at the Mandali outlet. The port will be under the protection of Iraqi military forces...according to PM Al-Kadhimi during his visit there... Al-Kadhimi on Iraqi TV was saying the upcoming meeting with USA will help lead Iraq to international acceptance and all things there will be brought back to Parliament for agreement and a vote...The citizens are calling for a total dissolve of Parliament saying it costs a billion dollars a year on salaries that have not lead to help to the citizens on the streets. They are calling for early elections saying the deep state of Iranian-backed members in the Parliament already disagree with the meeting in Washington and will not agree to vote on anything, so to move forward Iraq has to dismantle the Parliament and do early election. It sounds like the Iraqi people want to kick some butt ... we get to do that in 114 days. RON

RON *** Jeff *** ...the last few months I've been putting a huge emphasis on saying Iraq has to have stability before the rate can change. They're telling you that. If you look at the amount of articles coming out between Erbil which is Kurdistan and Baghdad there's a lot...this is very serious...Iraq has to have stability, meaning they have to be able to work together before that rate can change, before they can go international...they just need a little more time. They're using the word "complete" which means ending or completion, towards a comprehensive agreement. So they're suggesting to us that they're close to having an agreement reached...

RON *** Pimpy ...the articles that I'm seeing are showing me that there's a lot of preparation getting done before Al-Kazemi's visit over here into the United States...we see the World Bank is there...they're most likely going to be the people that pull the trigger on a rate change...but we need to get the green light from...the United Nation once again recognizing the sovereignty of Iraqi people and the restrictions moved off their money. We will be eyeballing that. But first we have to get their sovereignty reinstated. That's what we're waiting for...

The question is, and always has been... How much, and when?... Unfortunately, there is no way to know for sure. That's why this is called "speculation" instead of "guaranteed", just like "fishing" isn't called "catching". (We all know how many fish you catch if you never throw a line out!) ...What we CAN do is make reasonable guesses. We can form informed opinions. ...I think the Iraqi Dinar should have a higher value, and I think we are simply waiting on the HCL...to be finalized… then it will be “GO” time! ...HCL is next. The RV will be shortly after that, or it will happen simultaneously. Either way... we are closing in on the final day. ... Go HCL, Go Iraq, GO RRRRRVVVVVV..!!! RON *** Frank26 *** We were the first to bring you IOO...where the CBI has made it clear that we have representation around the world. You could call them satellite banks but I don't like that. They're private banks of the CBI...they were first established in the United States...you may be able to go into one of those CBI banks that represent the CBI in the Untied States and exchange them there. You may not want to exchange them into your currency of choice. You may just want to deposit them as Iraqi Dinars. Why? Maybe you're not satisfied with the exchange rate that came out...maybe you're waiting for it to be at a higher rate internationally and you want to just store them in there. As soon as the value goes up these banks will go up and the reason why is because the CBI has to retrieve their 3 zeros. They've gotten about 70% of them back but the Fab 4 want this to continue... And the Beat Goes On...!
