That's what I'm predicting...Let's hope that's accurate because it's going to help them [Iraq] big-time...this is good because this means there's more money they can use to go out to the private sectors to start producing more jobs...$64 a barrel of course that's good news...we'll keep an eye on this.

The White Paper says they must include the reform of the “project to delete the zeros”.

Now they can pay for imports using the dinar. This will allow the currency auctions to finally end...

RON *** Petra *** ...Guess who signed onto the BUNA platform to take care of all the U.S. dollar denominated trades? JP Morgan Chase one of the biggest tier one banks in our country. That tells you now that J.P Morgan chase is involved. They are not doing it for a currency that can't be transferable ie. the Iraqi dinar. BUNA is the mechanism by which they will be able to transact on the international market...This Wednesday the 10th...we wait to see if they actually transact because they'll need to be internationally positioned with their currency in order to do so... RON *** Mnt Goat *** The news is all very good today and in fact it is just what we want to hear, as we have not heard news this great from the finance committee in a very long time. Now we are hearing it. We should have heard this in December but everything was delayed due to Covid and the drop in oil prices. But now oil is close to $60 a barrel and is expected to rise. So, in today’s news it all about the will to ending the currency auctions, reducing the deficit to record lows and not touching the CBI reserves to pay for the deficit in the new 2021-2022 (2 year) budget. Does this all add up to something? Think about it. Put two and two together.

Article: "The World Bank: Iraq is experiencing its worst crisis since 2003...We put a large financial portfolio for it - Urgent" ...The World Bank just came out this morning releasing an article screaming at us that Iraq is about to change the rate...the World Bank and the IMF are working with Iraq to bring forth the rate change. It's over and done. All you're waiting on is the fiscal year [March 2021]...this is red hot news!

RON *** MilitiaMan *** ...BUNA is to go live on the TENTH.. The CBI has a new digital system they launched. The CBI states they have approved the new exchange rates. Well the first one was done already, the next rate change is to yet come out. But the CBI states they have approved the exchange rates. The BUNA system by charter will not interconnect to a Non - Article 8 Compliant Currency i am being told. So, the next move is imo to be Article 8 compliant. If they hold to the time frame of the TENTH, then this next week is an interesting one imo...

RON *** Footforward *** to me there's a difference between the budget and the white papers. I'm also expecting a fake out. Because I think most people are expecting to see the rate in the budget. And if it's not there a lot of people are going to be very discouraged. [Frank26 did let us know that it’s not in the budget, however there is a Ryder and will come out shortly after the budget.] that's what I believe as well. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see, like we've been doing since 2003.. LOL..! RON

Clearing and Settling payments goes hand and hand with this. If we cannot see what is at play by now, one may never get it.. Wow! This is good... imo!

Let's not forget the IMF had their hand in the forcing of the devaluation in Dec 2020. They did that for a reason. I feel it was for to synchronize the rate of the IQD with the IMF SDR basket in mind...when they RI the IQD they will be able to get it into the secondary markets as it will have significant value, hence, that value may or will make it easy to get loans for economic support during the transition into a market economy (private sector). They'll need stability and that is what the IMF is there for...The plan and or agreements are about to take a very different shape...Oh ya...A digital one that is to be on a large scale...imo.

RON *** Jeff *** Iraq is moving in Kuwait's footsteps. It's that simple. Kuwait changed their rate at the beginning of their fiscal year. Iraq's already told you that's what their intention, goals and objections are too. Iraq already came out telling you in print that they are going to increase the value of their currency at the beginning of a new budget period. Iraq's new fiscal year does not even start until April 1st...Iraq has gone as far forward as they can at this point without changing the rate...once they finish the '21 budget it's game over. After the '21 budget comes the rate change.

They are in the process of gathering the large notes off the street. The more they get the better it may be for supporting the new rate with less categories to issue.. I'll second that motion.. Within days lines up with the WTO, UN, HCL, Taxation of salaries possibly...Lets see what they do...Going to the private sector is going to need an international rate of exchange...imo.

We know the lower denominations are already printed. No, they are not yet at the banks as you don’t just given money to the banks for nothing. They must purchase the new denominations from the CBI. Yes, there are some already purchased in very limited supply. So some banks so already have them.

You know what the tally is right? To see how many zeros they brought in...it was successful collecting the 3 zeros CBI? Yes it was. 'And you guys are pretty bummed out that you had to lower the rate to bring in those three zeros...it's going to work with the citizens but now you're telling them you're going to raise it again right?' Yes we are.

RON *** Ray *** Iraqi TV reports that the Finance Minister has revealed that the 2021 Budget will be comprised of borrowing 63 trillion from internal banks and 23 trillion from external banks. The 63 trillion will be supplied by the new exchange rate, it will go FROM trillions down to billions, and the 23 will come from investors outside the country. Congratulations! Parliament is having a meeting TODAY to discuss setting the date to pass 2021 the budget law. FROM trillions down to billions is dropping the 3 zeros and increasing the "exchange rate" Wooooooo Hooooooo..! *****That seems to be all for today...RON

They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq. RON *** MilitiaMan ***...the articles of late...suggests that the recent devaluation is and was a very big mistake and one they are going to fix...The move didn't do anything good like they thought it would...Well, it is my opinion they were allowed to do that, as the experts knew it would have cause and effect. It is as though they allowed them to experience the negative effects and get to the bottom to see that pain from increased pricing. A taste of reality so to speak... Which would then show them that the right way is still on the table. That is imo to be the deletion of the three zeros. The reconstruction effort cannot be effective nor support Iraq in being competitive in the global market at 1190 let alone 1460 Dinar exchange rate. That will never happen.
