https://www.givehim15.com/post/september-26-2025 September 26, 2025 Mercy is Our New Currency Back in 2021, my friend, Clay Nash, had a significant dream about America, which included a plumb bob, also known as a plummet. In the dream, I was holding a 5-sided, hollow, silver plumb-bob over a map of America. Each of the five sides included a section of clear glass-like windows. It was filled with red liquid. As I held it over the U.S. map, a fine flow of this red liquid began to flow from the point of the plumb bomb. I stated, “This is blood from the Mercy Seat.” There was more to the dream, but we’ll share that another time. Plumb-bobs are used to ensure that constructions are “plumb” or perfectly vertical. They are also used for surveying, to mark an exact point for a boundary marker. Amos 7:7-9 speaks of God holding a plumbline over Israel. As God’s plumb-bob was held over America, He no doubt saw us as bent over, crooked, leaning, and deserving of judgment. To use another analogy, “weighed in the balances and found wanting” (Daniel 5:27). However, there was mercy. In Scripture, silver symbolizes redemption. And the plumb-bob was filled with the blood of Jesus from the Mercy Seat of heaven. Without doubt, this was and is telling us that God’s mercy, brought to us through Christ’s blood sacrifice, was redeeming and saving America. This is occurring. God began speaking to me about His mercy for America in 2016. My friend, Pastor Landon Schott of Mercy Culture Church, recently reminded me of this. In February of 2016, I received two prophetic words that I was to go to D.C. and spend time praying for America. One was from Ceci, the other from Chuck Pierce. Chuck’s word added that while there, I was to re-stake claim to America. My friend, Ken Malone, and brother, Tim Sheets, accompanied me. It was a prayer journey that took on profound significance. While praying in front of the White House, we had what could only have been an angelic visitation. We were about 50 yards away from other people so that we could pray privately and discreetly. We kept our eyes open, speaking our prayers in conversational tones while looking toward one another, all in order not to attract attention. No one, based on our actions and body language, would have known we were praying. After an hour or so, someone said, “Are we finished here?” We were going to pray next at the Supreme Court. After pausing, another said, “No. I think there is something else.” “What is it, Lord?” We asked Him. “What do you want to say to us?” At that moment, an older “gentleman,” somewhat bowed over, began walking toward us from 40 or 50 yards away. He walked in front of us and, as he slowly passed by, never making eye contact, simply said, “Mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy.” Six times. We were blown away and tried to get him to stop and talk to us, but he kept walking and vanished into a crowd. We knew he was an angel, and God was leading us to appeal for His mercy over America. A few weeks later, a seasoned and trusted intercessor shared a dream she had received from the Lord that included me. “In the dream,” she related, “we kept declaring, ‘I have tapped into a root of mercy.’” Then, two weeks before the 2016 presidential election, a pastor and friend, Kingsley Walker, had a vision while watching our Appeal to Heaven conference online. In his own words: “As leaders from all over the nation were praying at the end of the service the first night, I had a vision of Dutch standing in a rainstorm. Instead of raindrops falling, it was raining coins. It was a downpour, and the level of coins rose until he was ankle-deep in them. Reaching for one of the coins, Dutch held it up; it had an eagle on it. Across the eagle was the word MERCY. He held up another coin with the head of George Washington. Below the head, across the bottom of the coin, was the word WASHINGTON. Above the head at the top was the word MERCY: Mercy over Washington! Dutch looked at a third coin that had fallen into his hand, and it had a waving American flag on it which said, NEW GLORY; also emblazoned on this coin was the word MERCY. A nickname for our flag is ‘Old Glory.’ There is ‘NEW GLORY’ coming to ‘Old Glory.’ He reached down and began picking coins up by the handfuls, and on every coin was stamped, MERCY! Then, in my vision, Dutch turned around, looked at me and said, “Mercy is our new currency.”(1) “Mercy is our new currency!” became the rally cry for thousands as we raced toward Election Day, which culminated in the powerful halt of the disastrous Obama agenda and death spiral we were on as a nation. Mercy is undeserved kindness. In Scripture, it is linked to covenant -- God’s covenantal faithfulness and kindness. We are told that His mercies are new each morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and they triumph over judgment (James 2:13). God’s “mercy revival” is coming to America, bringing “New glory” to “Old Glory.” Our salvation can only be procured by His mercies. Our own works would “buy” us nothing but judgment. Our faithfulness to Him certainly hasn’t been adequate to “purchase” America’s new birth. When asked why I believe America will receive a Third Great Awakening, I have but one answer: “The blood of Jesus deposited on the Mercy Seat of heaven is our currency. HE purchased our salvation. This is the only exchange God will honor, but He loves to do so!” Revival is being released because of God’s mercy through Jesus, and because we have humbly asked. Mercy will save America and also bring a billion soul revival around the world. Mercy has reopened the wells at Fulton Street, Red River Meeting House, Cane Ridge, Azusa Street, Topeka, Wales, Hebrides, Scotland, and more. Mercy is reopening Tennent’s Well, the Haystack Revival Well, the Voice of Healing Well, the Charismatic/Jesus People Well, the Brownsville Well, and every other well of revival that has ever occurred. Spend the mercy. Trade it in for souls, miracles, transformations. Buy the opportunity. The phrase “redeeming the time” (Ephesians 5:16) could be more literally translated, “buy the opportune time.” We must use our “mercy currency” and buy this opportune time for revival. America shall be saved! Revival is coming to the planet! Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Mercy. Pray with me: Father, thank You for Your great mercy. You keep covenant AND MERCY to a thousand generations. (Deuteronomy 7:9) Jesus, thank You for Your blood on deposit at the Mercy Seat. It is still speaking, even shouting that Your blood is the “surety,” the guarantee of a new and better covenant. (Hebrews 7:22; 12:24) We decree Your words, “America shall be saved!” We decree that “Nations will come to the brightness of your glory!” (Isaiah 60:1-3). We release Your words that carry revival fire into all the earth! We agree with Your angel, “Mercy! Mercy! Mercy! Mercy! Mercy! Mercy!” And Father, it will require Your supernatural intervention to end the hatred and stop the violence in America. The words of Romans 3:13-18 (TPT) are appropriate for many politicians in our land: “Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Help us end this. Release righteous judgments against those who spew hatred. And send an awakening to undo their evil works. In Yeshua’s name we pray. Amen. Upon the willows in the midst of it, we hung our harps. For there our captors demanded of us songs, and our tormentors’ (laughter) mirth, saying, ‘Sing us one of the songs of Zion.’” (Psalm 137:1-3 NASB) A popular song in the ’70s, American Pie, included the phrase “the day the music died.” (1) It has always reminded me of this Psalm. Though Don McLean’s song was about a different time, place, and reason, it too was about “the nostalgia that comes with closing a chapter in time” (Ethan Reese). Reese says the song describes the end of “A chapter that was good, youthful, and innocent.…For McLean, it was lost when he discovered that his favorite musicians, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. ‘The Big Bopper’ Richardson, had died in a plane crash—the day the music died. And for America, it came when the utopia of the 1950s was exposed as a veneer, giving way to the more socially conscious, but turbulent 1960s.” (2) McLean was more prophetic than he knew. Innocence was indeed lost in the turbulent 60s and beyond. America the Beautiful still describes us on the outside. Internally, however, we are unattractive, discordant, ravaged by societal disease and moral decay. In their desire to be encouragers, many religious leaders refuse to point out the true condition of America. I get it. No one wants to bring discouragement and, to be sure, a defeatist attitude must be guarded against. Faith believes what God says as the final verdict, not what is seen. But no serious doctor would begin treating a patient without first diagnosing the problem. To blindly declare that everything will be okay, simply because God is good and gracious, is beyond naive; it is unbiblical and untrue. An accurate diagnosis is not only sound wisdom; it is part of the healing process and, as such, compassionate. America’s Condition Over the last 60 years, God has been pushed from America’s heart by strongholds of death, pride, materialism, humanism, secularism, progressivism, socialism, revisionism, ignorance, immorality, pleasure, and more. With no brakes on the cultural gas pedal, we cast off restraint, speeding toward turns that could never be successfully navigated: we expelled God from our history, schools, government, and the core of American life; we borrowed and spent our way to financial dependence; we valued ideology over education, pleasure over responsibility, and self-love over self-control; and the church lost her voice, replacing truth with relevance, the Scriptures with opinions, and biblical success with “speed” and “size.” Abortion, one of the horrible fruits of this downward spiral, now demands the blood of our children. A generation follows our disregard for life, killing one another and themselves. Suicide is now the second leading cause of death among young people. Over 5,000 commit suicide every year—more than 13 each day. (3) A sexual assault occurs on a teenager every 8 minutes. (4) Seven hundred nineteen teenage girls undergo abortions every day. (5) Roughly 10 million new cases of sexually transmitted diseases and infections occur in teens every year in America. (6) During the twentieth century, the divorce rate rose 700 percent in America. Thirteen million children under the age of 18 are growing up with one or both parents away from home. Seventy percent of all juveniles in state reform institutions come from fatherless homes. (7) We wonder why young people grow disillusioned and dysfunctional? They’re the product of our rebellion, reaping what we have shamefully sown. We are a nation inundated with hopeless addicts and lawless rebels. The United States is the single largest market on the earth for illegal drugs and leads the world in the export of pornography. (8) We cannot build prisons fast enough to hold our criminals. As Nehemiah observed about his nation, our walls are down and our gates burned (see Nehemiah 1:3). Hosea’s description of ancient Israel is also appropriate—we have sown the wind and are reaping the whirlwind (see Hosea 8:7). America’s music has become horribly discordant, yet many have become so tone-deaf they don’t notice. Our wealth, power, and indoctrination have anesthetized us to our true condition; we’re bleeding to death internally while continuing to party on. We have become the proverbial frog in the kettle—slowly dying and unaware of it. Like the band on the RMS Titanic, we continue playing while the ship is sinking. Our propensity for treating symptoms only has been foolish and futile; the water cannot be bailed fast enough. It is time to abandon our denial. Like the fearful, causeless army of Israel when facing Goliath, many Americans have convinced themselves that if we wait long enough, the shocking giants of the land will go away and leave us alone. This will never happen! Satan has no intention of letting up in his relentless assault on America. Every part of American society is screaming for cause-minded, impassioned warriors like David to arise. The cloud of witnesses is shouting encouragement from heaven’s balconies, imploring the church to shake off apathy and fear, find her voice, and resurrect her song. “Take down your harps,” they’re shouting, “pick up your ‘sling,’ five smooth stones, and run toward the uncircumcised Philistines of your day. It is not too late!” And believers are responding. Davids are showing up for the battle, Calebs are picking up swords, and Elijahs are challenging Baal. Pastors are finding their voices, and thousands of believers are tired of being entertained and shielded from truth; fed-up moms, dads, soldiers, businessmen and women have decided to confront and replace political eunuchs who have bowed to Jezebel’s system. A remnant of the church and, yes, many unsaved patriots have taken their harps down from the willow trees and decided to sing again. Maybe the music didn’t die after all. Perhaps it was only placed on pause. Most importantly of all, the King, the Lord of the harvest and leader of angel armies, is being moved by a praying remnant. A passionate lover of people, including those who don’t know Him, He has stood up. The Warrior-King is coming to save. Repentance and a turning back to God by an intercessory core are prevailing. A Third Great Awakening has begun. God is gracious and determined to reap this great harvest. “Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “return to Me with all your heart and with fasting, weeping, and mourning; and rend your heart and not your garments. Now return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in loving-kindness, and relenting of evil. Who knows whether He will not turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him?” (Joel 2:12-14) “Come let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us, but He will heal us: He has wounded us, but He will bandage us. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day that we may live before Him. So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; and He will come to us as the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth,” (Hosea 6:1-3). “Fear not, for you will not be put to shame, neither feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced; but you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more,” (Isaiah 54:4). “Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land,” (Isaiah 61:7). In their book Is It Real When It Doesn’t Work? Doug Murren and Bard Shurin recount: “Toward the end of the nineteenth century, Swedish chemist Alfred Nobel awoke one morning to read his own obituary in the local newspaper: ‘Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite, who died yesterday, devised a way for more people to be killed in a war than ever before, and he died a rich man.’ “Actually, it was Alfred’s older brother who had died; a newspaper reporter had bungled the epitaph. But the account had a profound effect on Nobel. He decided he wanted to be known for something other than developing the means to kill people efficiently and for amassing a fortune in the process. So he initiated the Nobel Prize, the award for scientists and writers who foster peace. “Nobel said, ‘Every man ought to have the chance to correct his epitaph in midstream and write a new one.” (9) Profound. And worth emulating. God is giving America a chance to rewrite her epitaph. If written yesterday, even today, it would read, “Weighed in the Balances and Found Wanting.” But our gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abounding in loving-kindness, forgives sinners and heals nations. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for Your mercies; they are new every morning. We give thanks that You love to demonstrate mercy. We are confident that it triumphs over judgment. Of course, America has done many things to deserve judgment. Our song of freedom and covenant with You has, indeed, been dying. But You are the Resurrection and the Life, bringing life out of death. You forgive and fully restore. And now, it is the singing of principalities and powers that will end. Their songs of mockery and destruction will give way to redemption’s song. So, we ask You to raise up the giant-conquering warriors You have prepared for this hour. May they be filled with zeal, boldness, and faith. They will raise the dead, spiritually and physically. They will preach a powerful gospel of the Kingdom, and millions will come to know You. We decree this over the earth NOW and declare this to be the most significant season of taking out spiritual giants in history. We do so confidently - because of Jesus, and in His name. Amen. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/june-7-2022 June 7, 2022 Mercy in the Midst of the Shaking I was recently pondering why certain things in our nation can be so obvious to some and not to others. I get that some people are simply uninformed and ignorant. Also, I realize that others have been propagandized and deceived - they actually believe the foolish ideologies and dogmas of the left. This seemed easy to comprehend. But I was wondering how the very educated and seemingly smart individuals in government, media, and education could be so blind to the effects of their decisions. Consider the following examples: Our border crisis: no honest person could believe it is healthy for a nation to not have secure borders. With our open borders: human trafficking is now rampant; rapes are common; children come in by the thousands without adult care; terrorists, criminals, and gang members come in by the hundreds, probably thousands; fentanyl and other drugs flow into our nation by the truckload - 100,000 people (mostly young people) were killed in the past year by overdoses… all in order for the left to increase their voter base. This is unconscionable. Inflation: The economic situation is out of control and will get worse before it gets better. Gas prices will continue to skyrocket and food prices will, as well. Shortages will continue and increase. This is all avoidable but, unfortunately, the left’s hatred of fossil fuels trumps the suffering their ideology is creating. A recent report I saw from the farming industry stated emphatically that the current food shortages and price increases are nothing compared to what is coming. Crime: I knew before I even heard of “the summer of rage” being called for by the radical left, that the violence was coming. Fasten your seatbelts - it is going to get ugly. And liberal DA’s around the nation refuse to prosecute criminals and anarchists. Mandates: Any honest person could see how the mandates of the past two years were hurting people more than helping them, especially our children. Lives were lost, mental problems were caused, financial devastation was incurred, and damage to the development of our children - mentally, emotionally, and physically - was staggering. It will take years for all of the negative effects to be fully understood. In spite of all this, the left was unmoved. Transgenderism: The immorality we allowed into America over the past 50 years has now devolved into moronic thinking. The assertion that preschoolers should be taught that they can change or choose their own gender is, quite frankly, depraved and unthinkable. Government: out of control, corrupt and inept. No explanation needed. While pondering those things, and asking myself the question, “Why can’t these people see what they are doing to our nation?” the answer became obvious. They can no longer be given the benefit of the doubt - they do see it. The thought then occurred to me, “When people double down on stupid, it is not always stupidity. Sometimes it is intentional.” The highly educated and intelligent people making these decisions know exactly what they are doing. It is all intended to give them more control, keep them in power, and reshape America as a weaker, non-Christian, socialist and globalist nation. And sadly, many of those who actually do believe the insanity are willfully ignorant. The following verses are applicable: “They say to God, ‘Depart from us! We do not even desire the knowledge of Your ways.’” (Job 21:14) “But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears from hearing. They made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 7:11-12) “For the heart of this people has become dull, with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they would see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I would heal them.” (Matthew 13:15) “And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.” (Romans 1:28) “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness." (Ephesians 4:17-19) I have good news and bad news to share. First, the bad: This is going to get worse before it gets better. Contrary to what some think, faith is not denying the existence of facts and reality, it is the refusal to accept them as the final verdict: Faith is a strong conviction that God is not at the mercy of facts, evil and destructive circumstances. It is an unshakable confidence that these things can be changed through prayer, God’s power, and faith in His word. Why do I believe things will get worse before they get better? Because Americans - including the church - allowed unrighteous, ungodly, and unprincipled people to be placed in power and their tenure isn’t over. What we now have, we allowed. Past wake-up calls over the last couple of decades went unheeded and now we are reaping the whirlwind. The merciful shaking - caused by our rejection of God and truth - will serve its purpose of exposing evil and awakening our nation. Now, the good news: God has NOT given up on America. He is NOT finished with this nation being a voice for Him throughout the earth. He WILL send the great awakening we often speak of and turn this nation around. The greatest harvest in history IS coming and WILL NOT be stopped. America will play an important role. He has CHOSEN to use us, and He will - not exclusively, but we will play a significant role. Because of this, I am confident America shall be saved! My counsel to the remnant Ekklesia in this season is: do not waiver in your faith, persevere in your prayers and obedience, and keep your focus on the Lord and what He is doing. Isaiah 26.3-4 (AMP) tells us: “You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character] Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].” Be strong, church! We always triumph in Christ. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for Your great mercy. America has, in a most blatant way, rejected You, Your Son, and Your ways. We have no one to blame for our problems but ourselves - we’re reaping the wages of sin. However, the condition we are experiencing is why revival comes. Common sense alone tells us that revival comes because people need it, not because they are healthy and filled with life. We are confident in Your love. We are confident that You love to save. We are confident that Your mercy triumphs over judgment. We are confident that heaven rejoices over one lost soul coming to Christ. We are confident that You love the world - that’s why You sent Your Son. We are confident that no shaking can damage or hinder Your kingdom. And we are confident that America shall be saved and returned to her role as a voice for You on the earth. As Christ taught us, we command forth Your kingdom rule and will on earth, as it is in heaven! Amen. Our decree: We decree that good will overcome evil, and the ever-increasing Kingdom of Christ is moving into its finest hour (see Isaiah 9:6-7). ************************ Click on the link below to watch the full video.
