Iran launched 12 missiles from inside Iran, near Erbil, on Tuesday. Iran says...no Maliki, no peace in Iraq. Will there be another one-year delay if Iran rejects the current majority Sadr election results by demanding another election? What ramifications will this have on a RV-RI any time soon?

A U.S based company found involved in money-laundering and smuggling. The U.S based website SFG reported that an alleged contract has been found worth 100 million U.S dollars in Iraq for defense purposes. The website also pointed out that the company is run by the husband of a U.S Democratic senator. The company, Bernie Group is allegedly involved in money-laundering and bribery cases and is run by the husband of U.S Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein. The website said in a report that the company has been hoping for a contract of at least 100 million U.S dollars for defense work in Iraq during the current month. The report indicated that the Massachusetts-based company is operating facilities for a separate contract worth 28 million U.S dollars to build barracks and other facilities for the new Afghan armed forces. The entire defense and homeland security deals linked with the Bernie Group raise concerns regarding political looting.

An Iraqi candidate who was running for the upcoming parliamentary election was killed on Sunday in Iraq’s capital. Najim Hasnawi was Nouri al-Maliki’s State of Law candidate for the 12th May election. A security source told Iraqi media that Hasnawi was gunned down while passing by a street fight in Baghdad’s Mashtal district. Source
  12. Luigi says...2018 Eclections are coming to Iraq. If there is no RV prior to Election...we can forget it, 2018 is out. Maliki gains power. His policy has always been a low Dinar, money laundering, keeping USD on the streets & CBI auctions. There are also other threats, he will re-introduce ISIS into Iraq, turn citizens against each other & cozy up to Iran. If all this materializes, we can kiss the RV good-by...IMO. What say you? Your opine. 1-16-2016 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: "MP...Maliki the Iraqi economy is now in a real crisis and it is not possible to raise the value of the Iraqi dinar against the dollar" IMO this is a great article because even though they can't at this time, they are confirming (of sorts) that the plan is to raise the value of the dinar...to have them refer to it stating "raising the value" is complete confirmation. This is the year of currency reform. To much on the line to let to drag on. With the IMF and MoU/trustreeship it will get done. From there..we will just have to sit back and watch it rise as the investment boom begins.
