Larry exhorts us to rejoice in what the Lord has done, but also diligently press forward. The title is: Looking Back/Looking Forward (with God’s Gift of Mercy to America) “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:18–19). Fifty years ago a struggling Sly Stallone watched a boxing match, wrote a script (in 3 days!), then made the movie, Rocky, for $1 million. It grossed $235 million worldwide, and Stallone made five more movies with the character! I recently watched it again, allowing it to inspire me in this historic moment. We can follow Rocky’s example – he looked back briefly then moved forward purposefully. This is what God intends for us in this supernatural reset of seeing America restored to alignment with the Founders’ vision, and to the values of our Creator. “The Golden Age of America begins right now” is how our President put it in the opening sentence of his inaugural message to America. Our children and our grandchildren will now be rescued from the insidious progressive ideology that brought the decline of America. Imagine if we had just endured an inauguration of President Kamala Harris… The opening Scripture says not to dwell on (linger on) the past - God is doing a “new thing!” Learn lessons from the past, but “get back in the ring” and embrace the opportunities God is giving. Satanic forces are not going to exit the arena; their goal is still to diminish Christian influence and promote evil. Miracle Mile One of the most iconic sporting races in world history was the 1954 mile competition between England’s Roger Bannister and Australia’s John Landy. Both had previously broken the 4-minute mile barrier and were pitted against each other, with 35,000 watching. The first issue of “Sports Illustrated” launched with this famous race. With 90 yards to go, Landy was heading for victory, but looked back, lost momentum, and Banister burst forward to win 3:58.8 to 3:59.6. Today, in what can become one of the most transformational presidencies since Lincoln and Reagan, we must not look back, as though the race is won. Yes, we should understand and give God glory for what we’ve been rescued from, but then we must focus forward, praying and engaging in sharing truth amidst 2025’s palpable optimism. “Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, let’s press on for the goal of the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord. All of us who are mature should be like minded” (Philippians 3:14-15). Looking Back on 15 Catastrophes We are beginning a turnaround in our nation, so give thanks to God as we put behind us… The scandalous cover up of Biden in office while mentally impaired. The Biden Administration leaving Trump with a “mess” as his policies bring ongoing damage for years. He departs office with America culturally, morally, economically, globally and militarily weaker. The entrance of 15 million unvetted illegal immigrants allowed into America, including scores of terrorists, child smugglers, sex traffickers and criminals (not just “unfortunate children” as a pro-LGBTQ liberal bishop said in an attempt to humiliate President Trump). The death sentences of 37 death row murderers being commuted, and granting “pre-emptive last-minute pardons” to family and friends. The aggressive promotion of abortion ’til birth, paid for with taxpayer money, and calling it “reproductive health care.” Obscene spending, which exploded our national debt to record levels (e.g. spending $100 million tax dollars on DEI!). “If we don’t get this debt under control, the economy is going to collapse!” - Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary (part of the problem). The shameless pushing of radical trans insanity & the LGBTQ agenda in schools/sports/corporations. The corruption in our criminal justice system, abusing its authority by suppressing free speech & attacking political candidates (especially Mr. Trump!). The insulting of Americans by awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to enemies of America devoted to tearing down our values, such as George Soros. The weakening of America, even as China grew more aggressive and Putin became more destructive, with feeble Biden “asleep at the helm.” The use of “Lawfare” to attack peaceful pro-lifers, parents in schools and soldiers in service. The mislabeling of Jan. 6 rioting as “insurrection,” even though Trump said, “I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capital to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.” (Thousands of people rioting in 574 George Floyd riots in 200 cities, taking lives and costing billions, was dismissed as “peaceful protests.”) The unmitigated disaster of the Afghanistan exit (lives lost plus $80 billion of military equipment left to terrorists). In Summary, Biden departed leaving our nation demoralized, divided and deceived. We should offer praise to God that a horrible chapter can be put behind us. Like Rocky, we can give ourselves one last look back as we get into the ring, resolving not to squander our reprieve. Going Forward with Hope and Vision Goodbye to a Government gone astray! Our appeal to heaven is for God’s grace and guidance as we declare “In God We Trust!” As God-fearing, patriotic, traditional Americans we pledge to pray for our leaders, engage courageously as we share the gospel and truth, and believe for a third Great Awakening! Undergirded by our prayers, the actions of the Trump team have said, “We’re done with the show, we’re closing the curtain, buckle up!” Our newly inaugurated president has signed over 100 executive orders, taking action with his experienced and competent Cabinet. One bold and decisive order declares the Federal Government will no longer recognize “trans” men or women. There is a supernatural shift, changing the mood in America. It’s time for realignment. God has been merciful to us, and there is fresh vision, hope and determination to purge the poison of militant wokeism, deceptive socialism and [the true meaning of] DEI: Discrimination, Exclusion and Indoctrination. Let’s unify and see America great again for the glory of God! Turnaround Time We are part of an historical reset and transformational presidency, similar to the “morning in America” when Reagan was elected after the disastrous Carter years. This is not a time to retreat, but to speak out exposing harmful policies and ideologies regarding critical issues. Together we will remain tenacious, proclaiming truth via all the vehicles God has given us. We are “Sons of Issachar who understand the times and know what to do” (1 Chronicles 12:32). We will “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12), not combatively, but “contending for the faith” (Jude 3). (We know that we have to reach this next generation on their phones. That’s why 16 top Christian leaders did the 30 Bullseye videos FREE and “on demand” to equip us in confidently and courageously addressing today’s “hot button” issues.) Here’s the Deal: God gave us a reprieve. Let’s seize this gift for His glory and as Rocky said, “Go for it!” “Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always abound in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord, your labor is not in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58). ************ Pray with me: Father, we have come to an intersection in this journey toward seeing America restored. We are truly grateful for the turn we see occurring in America, not only in government but in the great numbers of Americans seeing the need for change. The veil is truly being lifted. Please continue to do so. We do, indeed, take the time to look back, not as though the race is finished, and as Larry has articulated, not in bitterness. We do so to learn from the past and rejoice in Your great deliverance. It is also now imperative that we look forward, dedicating ourselves to the opportunity at hand. You have given us a window in which we can begin a true spiritual and national reset. We ask You for wise strategy to do so. Give wisdom to government leaders as they wrestle with complex issues, and the courage and boldness to do what is right, regardless of the cost. We also ask that wisdom be given to leaders in the church. Bring forth the appropriate messages and insights, bringing the church Your thoughts at this critical time. Bring forth prophetic vision for the future - Your vision. Changes are essential; show us what they are. Help us seize the moment. In Yeshua’s name. Amen. He also gives us a poignant reminder of Biden’s duplicity and spin nature. Larry shares: Amazing Story: Reagan Gifted Israel’s Iron Dome that Biden Blocked “Iran, the world’s leading terrorist nation (which previously held Americans hostage for 444 days until Reagan secured their release), recently rained down 120 ballistic missiles, 170 drones, and 30 cruise missiles on Israel. It was an unprecedented direct attack following their previous Hamas proxy attack on October 7, 2023, that killed 1163 people (including Americans). [The equivalent for America would have been 50,000 killed on 9/11.] “Joe Biden applauded the stunning success of the Jewish leaders employing their ‘Iron Dome’ technology, obliterating 99% of the weapons of destruction. He attempted to bask in the glow of the monumental achievement. Yet in a moment, I’ll share the backdrop story of Biden’s opposition to this advanced system when President Ronald Reagan presented the concept to America in the 80s. Heed History “British statesman Winston Churchill is honored as the primary leader who saved Western Civilization. When Britain’s Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, returned from a 1938 meeting with Hitler, foolishly declaring, ‘There is peace for our time!’(1) Churchill knew better, refusing to project weakness and gamble with appeasement to avoid conflict. He told the English citizens, ‘Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it!’(2) “Churchill looked at the big picture, as did Kennedy in the Cuban missile crisis and Reagan in standing up to Marxism and Islamic terrorism. Today we face a similar situation where peaceniks, Jew-hating activists, and understandably cautious people don’t want to risk escalating Middle East tensions. They say we should tolerate the unfair demonizing of Israel; keep giving Iran billions (being used to develop a nuclear weapon and fund proxy terrorism attacks); avoid justified retaliation; try again for the failed two-state solution; call for a cease-fire; give Iran $6 billion in ransom for five hostages, and don’t be concerned about Iran’s growing alliance with China, Russia, and North Korea. “Iran’s leaders laugh all the way to the bank with the $100 billion (given them directly or indirectly) while we hope they’ll not continue developing a nuclear weapon that would dangerously change the entire Middle East region, bringing the world to the brink of an apocalyptic holocaust. “Iran’s fanatical leaders declare ‘Death to Israel and America - the Great Satan!’ They are the number one state sponsor of terrorism; they’re developing long-range ballistic missiles capable of hitting America; and can cut off oil passing through the Red Sea to bring about another disastrous energy crisis like 1979 (which I remember painfully well!). Facing Reality “Richard Goldberg, Senior Advisor at the Foundation of the Defense of Democracies, feels that Iran is at the one-yard line of their nuclear weapon capability and in April demonstrated their delivery capability with the multi-missile assault on Israel.(3) Former CIA Director David Petraeus states: ‘The U.S. and Israel will never let Iran have a nuclear weapon.’(4) But will this Administration do so? “America’s future, including that of our children and grandchildren, is at stake. We must return to Reagan’s ‘peace through strength!’(5) “The acceleration of Iran’s nuclear program was ignited when Biden took office. We’re inching towards a defining moment in dealing with this powder keg. Prudent or Patsies? “‘The prudent see danger and take refuge but the simple keep going and pay the penalty’ (Proverbs 27:12). 1983 “President Reagan unveiled in the Oval Office his vision for replacing Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) with a Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) to protect America. Democrats mocked it, calling it a ‘Star Wars’ fantasy. “It is a matter of historical record that then-Senator Joe Biden and ‘all Democrats opposed it.’ For years, they worked to defund and kill it through amendments.(6) “‘Among the most vocal critics of the Reagan doctrine and a strong voice for removing it from the bargaining table was then-Senator Joe Biden who said, “The president’s adherence to SDI constitutes one of the most reckless and irresponsible acts in the history of modern statecraft. Reagan stood fast in the face of that pressure and refused to back off his missile defense initiative.’(7) 1986 “Reagan met with Soviet leader Gorbachev in Iceland for a summit on nuclear disarmament. Biden, the Democrats, and Gorbachev wanted Reagan to bargain away the SDI system, but he refused. He knew that in the Cold War, the Soviets did not have the technology nor the resources for such a system. He refused to be intimidated. “Reagan said Communism was an ‘evil empire’ that belonged ‘on the trash heap of history.’ He went to the Berlin Wall and called on Gorbachev in no uncertain terms to ‘tear down this wall!’(8) Then in 1990, the 30-year Berlin Wall came down, and in 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed! “In the face of ongoing opposition from Biden and the Democrat Party, Reagan met with Israeli leaders to share SDI technology and partner in developing it. Since 1986, the United States and Israel developed the ‘Star Wars’ technology that was used to stop and humiliate Iran in this recent Iranian attack. “Today, they continue working on an advanced system that will use lasers with pinpoint accuracy to literally shoot missiles and planes out of the sky. “The historic ‘Abraham Accords’ engineered by the Trump Administration to work with Israel and moderate Arab nations (who distrust and dislike the radical Iranian regime) has tragically been sabotaged, and its diplomatic success was blunted by the current administration. But the 2024 election brings renewed hope. Here’s the Deal “Reagan once gave a speech citing ‘Twilight’s Last Gleaming.’ He pointed out that our National Anthem concludes not with a declaration but a question, ‘Is our flag still there?’(9) “In this time of growing campus protests (organized and funded, not spontaneous) basically, ignorant students celebrate Hamas (who tortured, beheaded, raped, and killed 1163 adults, children, and babies and featured it in videos). We must learn the lessons of history, act courageous, and pray fervently while communicating the gospel and truth so our flag will still be there. “‘Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and passed on for them to do the same, or one day, we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our grandchildren what it was once like in the United States, where men were free.’” (“The Gipper” Ronald Reagan)(10) Pray with me: Father, we live in days of great evil and great grace. We know that Iran is the leading supporter of terrorism and that its leaders hate America and Israel. Yet we also know it is the nation where earth’s greatest spiritual harvest is occurring. Remind us to always in our hearts separate evil people from hungry people. You loved both Ishmael and Isaac, as did Abraham, and You love their offspring. We hate evil and despise the demonic powers at work in that part of the world, yet we, too, love the people. We boldly ask You for MILLIONS of salvations in that part of the world. The prince of Persia hates Israel, the giver of Messiah, and America, raised up to trumpet Messiah’s message of redemption throughout the world. But You defeated him at Calvary and You will manifest his defeat again as You have before in history. We ask for this. Rescue his victims! We bind his influence in that region and his attacks against America and Israel. Hang him on his gallows! And we ask for clarity to those in America who have been brainwashed regarding Hamas. Reverse the influence this spirit has gained in our nation by lifting the veil of deception and sending another Jesus People Movement, one much greater than that of the 60s and 70s. We see this beginning and declare that it will increase exponentially. Give our leaders wisdom as they deal with the unrest. Show them how to stop the evil actions taking place, doing so with wisdom. Raise up voices of wisdom to counteract the lies. We ask for this in Yeshua’s name. Amen. He urges us to take advantage of the momentum created in the midterm elections. At this moment in history, leaders in the church must be as passionate as the recent Representatives who stood up to others in Congress, demanding change. Larry begins with a powerful quote from William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army: “‘I’m not waiting for a move of God. I am a move of God!’(1) *********************** “One of the oldest books I possess was written over 150 years ago by General William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army. ‘In Darkest England and the Way Out’ is a classic manual outlining God’s strategy for turnaround in a nation. Knowing that the only hope for America in our dark time is another Great Awakening, we should celebrate the midterm elections as a sign of God’s intervention to set our nation back on the right track. This can occur as we follow ‘the General’s’ example of personal passion for God, which helps ignite nationwide revival and reformation. “I just returned from a roundtable of senior leaders in California, led by one of my closest and longest friends, Dr. Che Ahn. In his latest book, Turning Our Nation Back to God Through Historic Revival, Che says the following: ‘Our world is in desperate need of revival. In this crucial moment of time, I am convinced that revival - true historic revival - is on God’s agenda. I believe we are being offered a divine invitation by God right now, as He is beckoning us to recognize the amazing and powerful ways He has moved in the past, so that we can act as a bridge in the Spirit to contend for an even greater move of God in our generation. What God has done before, He will surely do again!’ Unifying, Not Fearing Christian Nationalism “The midterm victory presents traditional conservatives with a wonderful opportunity to come together in unity for God’s purposes to be fulfilled. ‘But be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment’ (1 Corinthians 1:10). Don’t fall for the media-created ‘Christian Nationalism’ label designed to put fear in godly, patriotic Americans and cause a hesitation to stand up for our Judeo-Christian heritage! “Living in turbulent times characterized by a departure from the Biblical foundations upon which our nation was established, it’s important that we pledge to remain steadfast in fervent prayer, faithful proclamation of the Gospel, and fidelity to restoring our nation. This is essential in order to see national repentance and the spiritual awakening for which we pray. Following Our Founders “‘When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one people…’ - with these words our Declaration of Independence begins. “The signers continued by affirming ‘Nature’s God,’ ‘self-evident truths’ and our ‘Creator.’ Then our brave Forefathers, putting their very lives on the line, ended their statement of convictions by declaring, ‘with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.’(2) “At another historic moment, a courageous leader named Nehemiah led the people of God in a similar pledge, recorded in the Bible (Nehemiah 10:28-39). They promised to uphold marriage as God intended (v30) and ‘obey carefully all the commands, regulations, and decrees of the Lord our God’ (v20). “It’s time for patriotic, principled men and women who love and fear God to do likewise. I submit the following framework for our pledge of solidarity to capitalize on the momentum of this moment. OUR SOLIDARITY PLEDGE “We Pledge to Obey God, Not Government, Regarding the Sanctity of Life and Marriage. “Scripture tells us, ‘Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind’ (Romans 12:2). Therefore, any secular rulings contrary to God’s will for unborn babies, marriage and family cannot be honored by His obedient children. We will remain charitable but resolute that we will not capitulate. “The most innocent and defenseless in our midst must always be protected and given ‘the right to life.’ And since the Bible begins and ends with marriage, we will remain faithful to uphold natural marriage between a man and a woman. The two legs upon which our society stands are these: the sanctity of life and the sanctity of marriage. “We Pledge to Honor Our Nation’s Scriptural - Not Secular - Heritage. “Our Founding Fathers established our nation on Judeo-Christian foundations and pledged obedience to God and His standards. As a result, we’ve been blessed like no nation in history. “Until recent generations, we basically remained faithful. Now, however, we find ourselves seriously adrift from those principles that made America great. We pledge our efforts, with humility, to reclaim our godly heritage as ‘one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.’ “Founding father, Daniel Webster, reminds us: ‘If we and our posterity shall be true to the Christian religion, if we and they shall be always in the fear of God, and shall respect His commandments, if we and they shall maintain just moral sentiments and such conscientious convictions of duty as shall control the heart and life, we may have the highest hopes of the future fortunes of our country…but if we and our posterity reject religious institutions and authority, violate the rules of eternal justice, trifle with the injunctions of morality, and recklessly destroy the political constitution which holds us together, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us, that shall bury all our glory in profound obscurity.’(3) “We Pledge to Trust in God’s Protection Amidst Judgment, While Praying for Spiritual Awakening. “The prophet Ezekiel was a ‘watchman on the wall’ who warned people of impending judgment for continuing to violate God’s righteous standards. Child sacrifice and disregarding divine standards for marriage and family brought discipline intended to turn people back to God. “For the remnant who remained faithful, God reassured them that amidst severe punishment, righteous ones like Noah, Daniel, and Job were supernaturally protected (Ezekiel 14:14). May we stand on their shoulders and experience similar deliverance. “In the meantime, we must heed the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14: ‘If My people who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.’ “Like our forefathers, we should encourage one another and declare in unison: ‘With a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.’”(4) I choose to make this pledge with Larry. We must do more than glibly quote, “Freedom is not free;” we must LIVE like we believe it. Whatever the cost, we must pay it at this time in our nation. God, our grandchildren - and a billion souls - will thank us. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for early heroes of the faith like Ezekiel and Nehemiah, later ones such as Daniel Webster and America's Founders, spiritual leaders like William and Catherine Booth, and many more. We also thank You for modern heroes of the faith like Che Ahn, Larry Tomczak, and others like them who contend earnestly for the faith delivered to us. Raise up a new generation of heroes. Give us leaders with strong backbones, passionate hearts, biblical foundations, and selfless motivations. In his book, Che calls this season a “crucial moment of time.” We agree with him that we are “being offered a divine invitation by You right now…What You have done before You will surely do again!” We pray that many in the Church will respond to this challenge from Larry. It is so basic and fundamental that we should all embrace it. The God who intends to arise and see His enemies scattered at this point in world history will first have to arise in the hearts of His people. May we, like William Booth, BECOME “a move of God!” As always, we ask these things in the only name that gives us access to You, Father: Jesus. Our Decree: We decree that a remnant - a growing remnant - is arising.
