Postal Service issues stamps of Pope Francis' visit to Iraq (photos)

The Ministry of Communications announced the issuance of a postage stamp for Pope Francis' visit to Iraq and his meeting with the religious authority, Ali al-Sistani.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Communications, Raad al-Mashhadani, said that the General Postal and Savings Company issued another postage stamp for his visit to the historical city of Ur, as this visit embodied the concepts of Peaceful coexistence and love between religions inside and outside Iraq. This came to be issued within the company’s annual plan for 2021. It should be noted that this stamp will be part of the issuance of (commemorative) stamps, which are issued in several denominations with a value of (500, 750 and 1000) dinars, with a quantity of (5000) stamps, and a card in the denomination of (1500 and 5000) ) ..
