The title, Pentecostal Fire, is taken from the outpouring of Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. Books such as this assure me of the coming revival, as do the young revivalists I see being prepared. I am also encouraged by the strategies and plans God is giving to many of His leaders, preparing them for the coming move of His Spirit. And then, of course, there are the prophecies being released regarding Holy Spirit’s amazing plans. These are just a few of the reasons I do not fear any shaking that may occur to restore America. It will prepare us, not destroy us. Though Larry’s powerful and stirring book is filled with principles about preparing for and entering into revival, in the final chapter he challenges us regarding three idols we must address. Here is a portion of that chapter: “I believe there are three idols that need to be identified, confronted, and demolished in order for us to make room for Pentecostal fire to manifest. It’s available now, but as it was in the days of Jesus’ birth, there is no room at the inn. We have not made room for the wild move of Pentecostal fire because, like with the inn of the Christmas story, we have filled our modern inns with other things. Simply stated, there is no space for Pentecost because we have filled God’s space with things He never asked for. “No. 1: The Idol of Reputation [Quoting revivalist Vance Havner] “‘I believe with all my soul that when we quit depending on our gadgets and gimmicks and stand on nothing but the promises of God, risking our reputation and future on it, staking everything on a miracle instead of on men and machinery and mere money, the fire will fall.’ (1) “…We are living in an era when the possibility of having a popular reputation, being followed by millions of people, and thus, financially benefiting from said reputation is unlike any other moment in history. We have entered the day of the celebrity pastor. The great revivalists of old, Jonathan Edwards, Smith Wigglesworth, Evan Roberts, even down to A. W. Tozer, Leonard Ravenhill, and Kathryn Kuhlman, have left an imprint on history, preaching uncompromised truth without having any social media status or high-yield email list. [emphasis Dutch’s] “…If you decide to lay down preaching truth or trade welcoming the wild move of the Holy Spirit in order to be popular and polished, your efforts may result in temporary superficial success, but make no mistake, the truly spiritual will discern a lack of weight on what you share and speak. We need to heed and follow the words of the Apostle Paul: ‘For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ’ (Gal. 1:10). “No. 2: The Idol of Religion [Quoting C. Peter Wagner] “‘The spirit of religion is an agent of Satan assigned to prevent change and to maintain the status quo by using religious devices.’ (2) “The spirit of religion is not restrained to churches that feature pews, stained-glass windows, holy water, and organ music. In fact, I find this spirit to be more prevalent and insidious, working destructively and covertly, in contemporary sanctuaries - especially Charismatic churches. Often, those who claim a more Charismatic or Pentecostal theology accuse the more traditional churches of being religious, when in fact, those who know the things of the Spirit and have tasted of the ‘powers of the age to come’ can be the ones who actually miss God. They have, perhaps, fallen into the greatest snare of the serpent: they value concepts, conferences, events, receiving prophetic words, falling on the ground, speaking in tongues, and even prophesying about the new moves of the Holy Spirit more than demonstration and movement. Bottom line: the spirit of religion resists any forward movement for the Kingdom of God, seeking to influence honest believers into embracing the present state of Christianity as a ceiling or lid that cannot be moved. “The spirit of religion especially loves First Corinthians 14:40. Earlier in the book, I wrote a whole chapter on the idea of ‘decently and in order’ and how God has a vision of Holy Spirit order that is often different from our comfort zone’s spiritual preferences. The spirit of religion will preach this verse out of context with great volume, insisting that anything that looks unusual, uncomfortable, or wild is certainly not the orderly, gentlemanly operation of the Holy Spirit. “No. 3: The Idol of Rigidity “Are we willing to be disrupted by God? Outbreaks of Pentecostal fire are released by breaker people who partner with Heaven’s divine interruptions. Duncan Campbell, the evangelist who was catalytic in the Hebrides Revival, described one of the key events that broke open the region for Holy Spirit outpouring: ‘Here is a scene witnessed during the first days of the movement: a crowded church, the service is over. The congregation, reluctant to disperse, stands outside the church in a silence that is tense. Suddenly a cry is heard within: a young man, burdened for the souls of his fellow men, is pouring out his soul in intercession. He prays until he falls into a trance and lies prostrate on the floor of the church. But Heaven had heard, and the congregation, moved by a power that they could not resist, came back into the church, and a wave of conviction of sin swept over the gathering, moving strong men to cry to God for mercy. This service continued until the small hours of the morning.’ (3) “Note what happened: the cry was heard from the young man, pouring out his soul in intercession. In the modern Church, such would be observed as a distraction or interruption. Yes, there are fleshly responses that are not Holy Spirit motivated. But I am concerned that we have become so hard of spiritually seeing and hearing, as the priest Eli was in the days of Hannah and Samuel, that we automatically assume that all interruptions are the flesh. Rigidity shuts down divine interruption because there is no time in the meeting, no space in the schedule, or we simply assume all interruptions are fleshly. “The Welsh Revival of 1904 had Evan Roberts boldly praying, ‘Bend me, O Lord.’ Azusa Street in 1906 saw William Seymour baptized in the Holy Spirit, speaking in other tongues - inviting the nations to enter into that same experience. The Toronto Blessing saw Randy Clark ministering on January 20, 1994, at the Airport Vineyard Church, Toronto, Canada, simply sharing his testimony and then giving the church an opportunity to come forward and receive a touch from God (like Randy had received on his quest for personal revival); that invitation broke open the revival. The Brownsville Revival was largely catalyzed by Pastor John Kilpatrick being dynamically overwhelmed by the presence of the Holy Spirit on Father's Day 1995. These invasions of Heaven were birthed into the earth by a person boldly welcoming the Holy Spirit's move and making room for His interruption in their midst. There is no room for rigidity when we claim to truly desire the authentic move of the Holy Spirit.” We must prepare our hearts for what God is about to do, for regardless of what any future shaking might be, or how severe it is, I assure you it will be followed by incredible revival. Corrective actions and discipline from God are to mature and prepare us, not destroy us (Hebrews 12:4-13). Verse 10 tells us they are “for our good.” Prepare yourself for Holy Spirit’s great outpouring - it is coming! Pray with me: Father, You are determined to reap a harvest of unprecedented proportions. Your love demands it, Christ paid for it, and Holy Spirit will generate it. As we prepare to partner with You in this, we are not afraid of any work You must do to prepare us. We know Your heart is merciful, and You discipline as a Father, to prepare us for greater fruitfulness. As we prepare, we choose to operate in the mind of Christ, who emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant (Philippians 2:5-8). We renounce and lay down the idols we’ve made of our reputations. In the future, we will seek to please You, not men (Galatians 1:10). Many in the church have chosen popularity over speaking truth; deliver us from this and replace it with a spirit of humility and boldness. And we ask You to show us any places in our lives where we have tolerated a religious spirit, turning to “form without power,” or have prioritized religious actions and works over intimacy with You. Forgive us for protecting our “comfort zones” with a false interpretation of “decently and in order.” We want Your order, which is sometimes shocking in its intensity and uncomfortable to our flesh. And we choose to become more flexible, rejecting the absurdity of putting You in man-made boxes. We determine to be pliable wineskins that can handle new wine. We do not care what revival looks like, as long as it comes from You. We also choose humility, acknowledging that we don’t know what Your actions will look like, only that they are good - always. We pray all of these things in Jesus’ name. Amen. 6 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/may-15-2023 May 15, 2023 Back around 2000, Ceci told me, “One day, you’re going to write a book entitled The Pleasure of His Company, teaching people how to connect with God at a deeper level.” I wrote the book in 2014. It is easily my best book. A couple of years back, I shared several posts from this book. They garnered our best responses from you - by far. So, for the next few days, I’m going to share a few more posts from the book. Then, as usual, we will pray. I’m confident you will be enriched. The title of today’s post is: The Seeker Elevators are convenient. . . and sometimes awkward. Who in their right mind likes being in an elevator with people they don’t know? The longer the ride, the louder the silence. A few months ago, I was trapped in the back of one of those torture chambers in the airport of one of the vacation capitals of the world - Orlando, Florida. There were only about a HUNDRED people on this elevator! Who hasn’t heard of Disney World, Epcot, and other hot spots there? And based on the lines at these tourist attractions, every person in the world has been there! Consequently, the airport is crowded and hectic. When the elevator stopped at my floor and the door opened, no one moved. After a couple of seconds, thinking no one else was getting off at this level, I spoke up rather urgently from the back, “Excuse me, I need to get off here.” You’d have thought I asked for everyone’s phone number! Backs stiffened, eyes glared, and the man closest to the door turned and - in a most condescending tone - scolded me. “Be patient,” he snarled. “I’m just trying to be a gentleman and let the ladies off first.” After we all exited, one of the ladies with him turned to me and, rather snootily, decided to become my counselor: “You need a vacation, sir. We are in Orlando; why don’t you take a few days off and chill.” I was tired, and perhaps this had caused me to unintentionally speak louder than I realized. Or maybe my urgency sounded like impatience. What did I do? Being the gentleman that I am, I took it on the chin and calmly moved on - WITH MY BLOOD PRESSURE ELEVATED AND MY INNER THOUGHTS EXPLAINING TO THEM WHAT IDIOTS THEY WERE! And being the spiritual giant I am, within a few short weeks, I had forgiven them and moved on! Doesn’t take me long! Most of us dislike being misunderstood and misjudged - especially in an elevator! I don’t think God likes it either, and He is, without doubt, the most misunderstood person in existence. Perceived as distant, He is often ignored. Considered judgmental and legalistic, He is thought by some to be intimidating and one to steer clear of. And mistakenly thought of by His children as one who likes hearing how great He is, He is praised. LOL - I had you, then I lost you. Before you throw away this book, hear me out. Obviously, praising and worshiping God is good and appropriate. It’s our reason for doing so that needs some tweaking. Yahweh isn’t narcissistic, needing to be told how wonderful He is in order to satisfy an inflated ego. Nor is He insecure, needing to be reassured that He really is awesome. He doesn’t show off - praise doesn’t stimulate some macho corner of His heart, motivating Him to action in order to demonstrate His power. And He can’t be bought - our worship doesn’t cause Him to “reward” us with His presence simply because we made Him feel good. We, in the body of Christ, have some wrong ideas about praise and worship. Frankly, God neither needs nor desires to be told how great, unique, powerful, or loving He is. He does, however, seek worshipers. The difference is huge - immeasurably so. We ARE the worship. God longs for the singer, not the song. Our hearts are what transforms singing into worship, not the words and music. God would rather have a love-filled glance from our eyes than a song parroted from our lips. We can, in fact, worship without even opening our mouths. I’m not downplaying the incredible power or importance of music and singing. I’m simply pointing out what makes them worship. When my kids were young and anxiously waited for Daddy to come home from work, they didn’t meet me at the door with a song. They jumped into my arms and gave me a big hug. When God created us, He made kids, not a choir; family members, not church members; He’s into love, not liturgy. Too often, we make worship simply a segment of a service, rather than a time to connect with God. Sadly, I doubt if most church attendees understand, or have even heard, that He is a lover as well as the Lord. And it wasn’t His lording nature that prompted Him to create us - He could have made a few billion more angels had that been His desire. It was His loving nature. God is a father at heart. Jesus, who came to earth to show us what God is truly like (John 1:18), gave a great glimpse of Abba’s loving and relational heart through an encounter with a rather loose-living woman. Looking for love in all the wrong places, this five-time divorced, currently shacked-up societal outcast was about to meet a man who wanted her heart, not her body. Christ told her He knew her lifestyle, yet His actions proved He wasn’t condemning her. He had assured her He could satisfy her thirsty heart by placing a well of salvation in her. Then He went to the heart of the matter: relationship. He shifted the concept of worship from the place to the person, which was a radical paradigm shift in her day. I’m sure she had never thought about this, and certainly not that God was actually seeking worshipers. “He’d like you to be one” was the obvious invitation. She was hooked. That God might actually be seeking her companionship, not her body, was beyond this woman’s wildest dreams. How could He possibly want her? But He did. In one moment, her shame was broken, and joy filled her heart. It feels good to be wanted for the right reasons. This new worshiper was so excited, she ran and told her village about Jesus, and ultimately, the entire community believed in Him. Jesus was too excited to eat! When the disciples returned, they were amazed that He was speaking to this immoral woman. Jesus was impervious to their shock, however, and completely unconcerned about His reputation. His excitement about transforming lives and reestablishing heart connections with His lost family was far greater than any concern over His reputation. On one occasion, Christ actually allowed a prostitute to enter a person’s home and, during the meal, bathe His feet with her tears. Awkward! But not to Him; He was on a search for hungry hearts with which to connect, and their pasts weren’t an issue with Him. Christ is still seeking heart connections today. If the God you’ve been introduced to is distant, uncaring, stoic, or enamored with Himself, you’ve been duped by religion. The real God is passionate, caring, a lover of people, and a seeker of companionship - yours. While others seek His help, why don’t you seek His heart? Make His day...by giving Him the pleasure of some company. Pray with me: Father, thank You for sending Jesus, who shattered false ideologies regarding Your nature. We are grateful that You, the God of the universe - lovingly long for our companionship. You desire our hearts, not religious activities. We're sorry we have, at times, replaced You with religion. What an amazing Father and Friend You are. We desire intimacy with You. We want to see Your face and connect Your heart. Jesus, You’re always going out of Your way to love the lonely, the hurting, the confused. You truly are The Seeker. You love all people and nations. We ask that You and Your love would sweep across our land, drawing people to Yourself. We pray for a worldwide move of Your Spirit to be released, supernaturally drawing people to Yourself. Give them dreams, angelic visitations, and divine appointments. Let this outpouring be profound! And today, I pray for all who read and/or listen to this post. May they seek You, and in the quiet place, find You and the pleasure of Your company. Give them a big drink from the river of life flowing from the well within. We ask for these things in the name of Christ Jesus, our access to You. Amen. Our decree: The coming move of God will be marked by passion - God’s passion for us and ours for Him. They are both wonderful ladies and make us proud. Today’s post comes from our daughter, Hannah (Magness); tomorrow’s is co-written by Sarah (Weinberg) and me, and will include communion. As we look this week at the power of generational synergy and legacy, I trust you are being stirred, challenged and blessed. Hannah begins: “I’ve been a dreamer my whole life, especially of places I’ve never been and people I’ve never met. One of my favorite imagination games as a child was to take a globe and pick a random country. I’d look at its borders, the names of cities, topography, and imagine what it was like there. I’d create a grand story in my imagination about its history and the people who lived there. Then, I’d go into my dad’s library and pull out his old Encyclopedia Britannica books, thumb through to find that country, and read what it had to say. Was I usually close? Not at all. But still, I never tired of this game. Because imagining the country, and then reading about it, was like getting to meet it twice. Now that I’ve made a career working in some of those countries I used to dream about, I’ve met them again. “Meeting these lands has been more beautiful and challenging and sacred than I ever imagined it to be as a child. I’ve learned more about the similarities we share across humanity. And the differences used as banners across culture, politics, and religion. When I was 18, I had an imagination meets education meets reality moment the first time I went to the Middle East. I quickly knew that these nations were somehow in my heart, before ever visiting. I arrived to find purpose had gone before me. “Now, several years later, I work in the Middle East running a nonprofit organization. I’ve had the privilege of meeting these nations over and over again. Their light and their dark. Their joy and their pain. I’d like to share one of those stories with you today. This particular story is one I hold close to my heart. The faces and feelings it holds stay with me. “A few years ago, our staff was doing a food and clothing distribution on a very, very cold winter day. We were in the downtown area of a city that had become a haven for Syrian refugees fleeing that country’s civil war and, later, ISIS. Our organization had long been working in this city. On distribution days, our staff often receive multiple offers to come into the homes of those we serve for a meal or a drink. Arab culture has a big focus on hospitality, so this is truly a common invitation. Most days, we are too busy to take anyone up on their hosting offer, and politely decline. On this particularly bitter-cold, rainy winter day, I said yes. “I don’t know what was different this time and why I accepted. Maybe it was just because we were all so cold. But when we finished the distribution, we followed the kind woman Khadijah(1) up the street to her apartment. The entrance was a narrow, metal door in between street-level businesses. In we went, heading up four flights of broken cement stairs with rebar sticking out in several places, seeking the promise of a cup of tea to warm our hands. “As soon as we reached the apartment, welcomed by Khadijah and her daughters, I knew I would never forget this day, or these faces.⁠ ⁠ “We all sat together on the cold floor, circling around a small gas heater to warm our hands, drinking tea. As we slowly warmed up, we chatted with this family. As we did, an unimaginable story began to flow out of their memories and spill from their mouths, a story of the deepest darkness, the likes of which I could never imagine. ⁠As I listened, sipping tea and trying to get warm, my heart broke. My eyes flooded and spilled over with tears. And when it seemed that the story simply couldn’t get any darker, it did.⁠ “Pain, violence, brutality, fear, death. All of the worst kinds of stories you hear from war. Women taken advantage of, girls bought and sold like household goods, abuse of the worst kind, loss of property, loss of family, male relatives ripped from family, lives lost, and evil hunting you down. Khadijah’s story held it all.⁠ ⁠ “As I was sitting there listening to Khadijah’s story, tears kept rolling down my face. We all cried. Some of us cried and listened; others cried and remembered. I honestly didn’t know if I could take much more listening. The secondhand heartbreak alone was too much. “But then, spoken softly in a hushed room, a light…⁠ “When the time came that there were no options left in her home country - after the severe loss of people, places, and things - Khadijah fled in the darkness of night with her five daughters. No male relatives were left. “The two oldest daughters carried all they could. The next two held on to the skirt of their mother’s dress. The youngest, still a baby, was held in her mother’s arms. “Khadijah said the darkness of night was her best opportunity to flee without being caught. But it still held plenty of its own terrors and risks. For multiple nights in a row, they ran. Hiding through the day. Chasing an idea of hope that they couldn’t quite see yet. “Even while trapped in a darkness deeper than I could have imagined, Khadijah persisted. She'd heard rumors of freedom, stories of people who fled and survived. So she chased the hope in the rumors. “As you can probably guess, Khadijah and her daughters made it to safety. After several days of fleeing atrocities, they arrived at a border crossing and found physical safety. It was at this point that Khadijah realized the hope was more than a rumor. So, she kept chasing it all the way. All the way to a job, to an apartment, to food on the table, to a new place to call home for herself and her daughters. “I’ll never forget the day I walked up those flights of broken steps and met a woman who reminded me of the deep resilience of humanity. Of the way, even when we seem trapped in the deepest of darkness, a pinprick of light can keep us going and lead us to a tomorrow holding hope. “The state of our world reminds me often of Khadijah’s story. The darkness in our lives likely has different names than what she knew. But it is darkness just the same. It can seem as though darkness is all around us sometimes. When you face this in your life, I hope you remember that there is no darkness that light cannot lift. Tragedy will give way…the darkness will lift…the sun will rise. “And if you ever find yourself without hope, chase the stories like Khadijah did. Even if they seem like rumors. Because hope isn't a rumor. It's real. My hope for you is that you will find a little more of it today. “‘If you’re stumbling in the dark, Run your hands against the walls Find every window and every door Throw them open, throw them open It will flood a blinding light And it will chase away the night Even if you shield your eyes, Let it pour in, let it pour in.’ -Lyrics from the song Gallows, by Jess Ray”(2) Pray with me: As we have read and heard today about searching for light and chasing hope, we pray for those endeavoring to do so. Give them strength in their weakness, relief from their pain, and the fortitude to persevere. We pray that the Khadijah’s of the world find freedom, healing and new beginnings. And we pray that we would become the light-bearers You intend us to be. Awaken us to a deeper sense of purpose, of destiny, of being difference-makers. As we live lives that, for most of us, are comfortable and well provisioned, remind us of those who have not, and that we are called to help. Send a worldwide revival. When nations turn to You, love replaces hate, curses are broken, and darkness flees. Strengthen and provide for those working toward this - Heart of Mercy and others like them, going to the dark places of the earth. Meet every need with abundant provision. We ask for all of this in Christ’s name, amen. Our decree: We decree that the light we carry will always overcome the darkness. It is not an arrogant love, believing we are superior to other people. Nor is it a selfish love, believing we’re more important than other people. “For God so loved the world…” is the heart of the gospel; Yahweh loves the beggar in Calcutta as much as He loves the billionaire in Silicon Valley. My love for America is based on patriotism - I freely admit that I love my homeland - but it is also spiritual. In 2000, the Lord imparted to me His passion and heart for America. He loves us and needs us. The United States has a unique assignment, being birthed by God to trumpet the gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth. As He and I wept together on that sacred occasion, His words are forever seared into my heart and soul: “I MUST have America.” And He will..! Approaching the weekend when many will be celebrating our national birthday, I want to share with you some words from our founders. Their passion and eloquence were profound, far more so than I could ever generate. Let the fire of their love, dedication, and patriotism penetrate your soul. The first quote is from Patrick Henry, who was arguing in favor of going to war for our independence: “The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery…Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings…We must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us! “They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three million people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations; and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come. “It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”(1) Amazing! Fiery eloquence! The following quote is from John Adams, a founding father and second President of the United States. When Adams was elected as a Boston delegate in 1770, he knew it was considered treason to the king of England; Adams believed the decision would cost him everything. He informed his wife Abigail: “I have accepted a seat in the House of Representatives, and thereby have consented to my own ruin, to your ruin, and the ruin of our children. I give you this warning, that you may prepare your mind for your fate.”(2) Abigail’s response, through tears, was: “Well, I am willing in this cause to run all risks with you, and be ruined with you, if you are ruined.”(3) Adams later stated to Abigail: “I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost us to maintain this Declaration and support and defend these states. Yet through all the gloom I can see the rays of ravishing light and glory. I can see that the end is more than worth all the means.”(4) Adams, referred to by Thomas Jefferson as a “colossus of Independence,” died 50 years later on July 4th, 1826. Amazingly, Jefferson did, as well. It was as though both men willed themselves to live until that landmark 50th birthday of America. Two of Adam’s last words: “Independence forever.”(5) Incredible. And here is one more poignant quote. When the delegates to the Continental Congress reached an impasse attempting to write our Constitution, Ben Franklin made the following appeal: “The small progress we have made after 4 or 5 weeks [of] close attendance and continual reasonings with each other…is [I think] a melancholy proof of the imperfection of the Human Understanding… “…how has it happened. Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly [asking] the Father of lights to illuminate our understandings? In the beginning of the contest with Great Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the Divine Protection. Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending Providence in our favor. To that kind Providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful friend? “I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth - that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that ‘except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it.’ I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without His concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our little partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall be become a reproach and a bye word down to future age. “I, therefore, beg leave to move - that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in His Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the Clergy of this City be requested to officiate in that service.”(6) Thus began the tradition of opening Congress with prayer. Let’s follow suit and pray for America. Pray with me: We thank You, Father, for raising up our nation to propagate the gospel of Yeshua and His Kingdom to the entire world. We are honored to be part of this nation. Today, we honor those You used to birth America. We are grateful for their commitment to You, their love of liberty, and their understanding of our biblical rights and responsibilities. We ask You to give us more men and women like them. Give us leaders who are brilliant, people of great character, and individuals who will honor You and Your ways. Deliver us from those who oppose Your ways and laws, who do not love our nation, and who have proven to be foolish and ignorant. In this season when we celebrate our birth as a nation, we are careful to remember Your purpose in creating us. We were born to serve You and the nations of the world. Give us servant hearts once again. And restore us spiritually to the degree that the gospel is trumpeted from this land with the greatest force and power that has ever been seen. Send worldwide revival! We believe this will occur. I addressed the dream, given to Greg Hood, with a fair amount of detail a few months back, so I will not revisit all of it. (I have included the entire dream at the end of the post.) In summary, the Ekklesia and kingdom of darkness were contending for America; this was pictured by a baseball game. The event was called the World Seers Series. Four batters on team Ekklesia faced the opposing pitcher. I and other prophetic voices felt that our four batters represented assignments and strategies in the four quarters of 2022. Without restating the details and complete interpretation, we felt the first quarter represented a concerted prayer effort to remove the hold of a religious spirit over America. The spirit of religion seeks to promote form without power, erode intimacy with God, remove Holy Spirit’s influence, and more (see 2 Timothy 3:5; Revelation 2:4, 3:1). We were given very specific assignments through which to do this, culminating with a private prayer gathering in Washington D.C., on 2/22. Though the fruit of this will take time to manifest, we are beginning to see signs of such, and are confident our assignment was accomplished. Again, without giving details, it seemed clear to us that the second quarter (April-June) was about abortion and the Supreme Court reversing Roe. Obviously, this occurred, with a week left in the quarter. Here is the portion of the dream that we feel applies to the upcoming third quarter of this year: “Dutch then called from the dugout, ‘Hamon you are up!’ “Jane Hamon grabbed a bat and stepped from the dugout. Dutch said to her, ‘They will position themselves at the wall because they know you can break the home run record with one swing of your bat. I feel you should bunt towards third.’ “She replied, ‘That's exactly what I was thinking. I have noticed that the third baseman does not have the rapidness in his eyes that he thinks he has.’ As Jane stood in the batter’s box we could see the number on her jersey: 4851. The pitcher mocked her as she waited for the pitch. He threw a fastball, high and just outside the corner of the plate, missing the strike zone. Jane stood still; she never even twitched. “Seeing this, the angel, Gabriel, our third base coach, looked at the runner on second base and gave him the signal to steal third as soon as the pitcher started his next wind-up. The pitcher drew back his arm and as soon as he did the runner left second base; he was so fast, it was almost as if he supernaturally appeared on third base. This confused the pitcher as he saw our runner out of the corner of his eye stepping on third base. He pitched the ball and it came to the plate. It was low and just outside the strike zone. “At this point, Dutch stepped outside our dugout and motioned to Jane to come over to him. He leaned in to her and said, ‘Let the next two pitches go through. No swinging at what he is throwing. This will give us the strategy we need to win this.’ Some thought Dutch was thinking the pitcher was tired and wouldn’t be able to throw any more strikes, that he would walk her. But this wasn’t the case. “Jane stepped back into the batter’s box and did as Dutch had coached her to do. The next pitch came hard and fast. ‘STRIKE ONE’ the umpire shouted, then laughed. The next pitch came as a change-up, very slowly. ‘STRIKE TWO!’ “Jane stepped out of the batter’s box and took a deep breath looking back at Dutch. He motioned Jane back to where he was standing and said, ‘The count is 2 and 2. We are at the right point to bunt down the third baseline.’ “Jane approached the plate again and positioned herself. The pitcher released a curve ball. She bunted it down the third baseline, which caught the third baseman off guard. (Batters don’t normally bunt with 2 strikes; if they bunt a foul ball, they’re out.) He moved very slowly and retrieved the ball, but he didn’t throw it to first base out of fear that our runner on third would advance to home plate. Consequently, our runner on first easily moved to second and Jane ran to first. Now the bases were loaded.” (End of this part of the dream.) There is more to the dream, but I believe this portion is about the third quarter of the year. Our third batter, Jane Hamon, could have tried for a home run. She was obviously capable, and to have successfully done so would have broken the home run record. Her actions speak of humility. I believe Holy Spirit is saying this is a time for the Ekklesia to walk in humility. This is not a time to gloat over the victory we just achieved. It isn’t a time to mock and belittle those who disagree with us. If we do so, we will alienate those we want to reach. Also, pride will cause us to fail. Take the humble approach. Jane was unmoved by the enemy’s mocking and the pitches he was throwing. “No swinging at what he is throwing,” she was told. “Jane stood still; she never even twitched.” This is a warning to not be distracted by what satan does during this season. We must listen to Holy Spirit’s strategies, not be moved by what the powers of darkness say or do. The dream shows that God has a plan to surprise the enemy, the powers of darkness, in this season. They were expecting Jane to attempt a home run but she was instructed not to do so. She was to bunt, and do so at a time when they would never have expected it. God has surprises coming. Jane is a prophet. I believe the dream shows us that God is going to give very important strategies to prophetic leaders in this season. We must listen closely to them. I also believe it is a caution to prophets, and we who are prophetic, to walk in the humility demonstrated by Jane. We must not sensationalize, try to hit “home runs” with our revelation, prophetic words, etc. We must listen carefully to Holy Spirit and only say what He gives us to say. And lastly, the number Jane wore on her jersey is the number of the Greek word (in Strongs concordance) meaning, “to bring together, causing an advantage.” This is the word Jesus used in John 16:7 when He said it was to our “advantage” that He went back to Heaven. This was because He would send Holy Spirit to us. In his fleshly body, Jesus could only be in one place at a time. When Holy Spirit came, He would be IN us, not just with us, and could be in/with all of us, all the time. I believe this is telling us Holy Spirit is “coming,” being “sent” to us - that He is about to be poured out in powerful and unexpected ways over the summer months. He, and He alone, is our advantage. Only His strategies, power and presence will give us victory. We must humble ourselves and ask for Him to move in exceptional ways - starting now. This “coming” was made possible by the Supreme Court’s ruling. Holy Spirit is now about to “load the bases,” positioning us to win the game. America shall be saved! The shaking must and will continue. But we must not be alarmed or distracted by this. It is what we have asked for - the exposing and removing of evil in our land. Keep appealing to Heaven, church. It still works! Pray with me: Father, we thank You once again for Your deliverance from the evil decree of Roe. We believe that in Your mercy You are cleansing us from the national, corporate defilement it brought upon us. Wash us in the blood of Jesus. May it flow from Your mercy seat to the heart of our nation. We thank You also for delivering us from the effects of a religious spirit: having a form of godliness without power, a reputation that we’re alive when, in reality, spiritual death controls us. Forgive us for rejecting Holy Spirit. We now turn ourselves to the next [third] quarter of this year. As we do, we humble ourselves before You. No victory we gain is from our own strength. You are the strength of our lives. You are the greater One. Holy Spirit, we ask You to come to us in extraordinary ways. Come in power, revelation, salvation, and deliverance. You are our advantage; You make the difference. May the next three months mark a distinct shift in Your activity in and across this nation. Shake what must be shaken; strengthen that which remains. Refresh the leadership of Your Ekklesia, especially those who lead us prophetically. We ask for them to be fine-tuned, more so than ever before. We ask that they be convicted by You to weigh their words very carefully, to listen until they are confident they are releasing only Your words. And we ask that all of us are reminded to be alert. Enable us to recognize the attacks and strategies of the enemy meant to distract us. We declare now that by Your grace and strength we will not be distracted in this season. We pray all of these things in Christ’s name, Father. Amen. Our decree: We declare that Holy Spirit is our great advantage - He will not fail! ************************** Click on the link below to watch the full video. ______________________________________________________________________________ The World Seer Series Dream (Dreamed early the morning of January 2, 2022, by Dr. Greg Hood) As the dream started I could see that we were in a baseball stadium. I knew we were playing on our home field which in the dream was known as Royal Stadium. I also knew that the stadium was located in Washington D.C. All the seats in the stadium were filled with people. I knew the people in the seats were mostly Americans. A smaller portion of the people were from somewhere I had never heard of. The attendees were there to watch what we knew was the World Seers Series. Dutch and I coached one of the teams playing in the World Seer’s Series. (Our team was the Election prayer team, and more.) It was the final game in the series and we were ahead. It was our turn to bat. Dutch was the Head Coach of the team. He wrote out a new batting order, and hung it in our dugout for the team to see. The atmosphere in the dugout changed somewhat, with some thinking that the old batting order was better than the order Dutch had rewritten. We had a home-field advantage. It was the bottom of the 8th inning and we were winning. The scoreboard displayed the score of 20 for the opposing team and 22 for our team. I could see clearly on the scoreboard our team name - Kingdom Ekklesia. I could not make out the name of the opposing team; their name was very blurry. The mood shifted in our dugout as our team made an effort to encourage one another. We knew we were in the last innings of this game and the game was tight. We didn’t take anything for granted now. We focused intensely. We were the underdog, it seemed, and there was great urgency to win this game for the nation. Dutch shouted, “Smith, lead us off!” Smith stepped from the dugout, but before making his way to home plate I said to him, “The ball needs to be hit straight down the first baseline with great force. Your assignment is to remove the hindrance that’s guarding first base.” As Smith walked toward home plate we could see he was wearing the number 5221 on his jersey. He stepped into the batter’s box and the pitcher threw him a curveball. He hit it so hard down the first baseline that the first baseman could not see it coming. It struck him on the side of his neck and incapacitated him. Anger became very evident in the opposing team because they now had no first baseman. The umpire at first base held Smith on first and would not allow him to advance. Ken Malone was coaching first base and begin to speak to Smith. He instructed him to watch the third base coach for he would give the sign he needed to steal second. Coaching third base was the Archangel, Gabriel. Dutch then said, “Jones, you are up. We need advancement. You know the pitch you are looking for!” Jones said to Dutch, “I feel a confidence that I have never felt before. The pitcher will not be able to resist throwing me my pitch.” Before Jones approached the batter’s box I said to him, “The guy in left field is expecting you to hit it high and long. Hit it high and short into left field. He won’t be able to adjust his position in time to catch you out.” Jones smiled with a big grin and said, “This is what I was built for. I was born to give ‘left field’ problems.” We could see the numbers on his jersey as he walked to the batter’s box. He was wearing the number 2388. Just before the pitcher released the ball, Gabriel gave Smith the sign to steal. Smith shot from first and stole second. The pitch landed just in front of home plate. The umpire called it a strike. Jones looked at Dutch for the correction. Dutch came out of the dugout very quickly and proceeded toward the umpire with fire in his eyes, and as he pointed his finger at the umpire he declared, “YOU WILL REVERSE THIS CALL AND GIVE IT BACK! YOU DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO CHANGE THE STRIKE ZONE!” The umpire reversed the call immediately. I could tell in the dream that it weakened his authority on the field when Dutch addressed him this way. Before stepping back into the batter’s box, Jones looked at the pitcher and said, “You don’t have the nerve to throw me my pitch. You don’t have the ability to cause me to miss it. Throw that ‘cutter’ and I will hit it.” You could see the anger and pride on the pitcher’s face. He drew back and threw Jones his pitch. He threw it hard and fast. Jones hit it high and shallow into left field. The left fielder called it which stopped any of his other teammates from advancing toward the ball. The left fielder ran forward for the ball and as he did this he was watching the spin Jones had put on the ball. This confused him and caused him to trip, which caused him to miss the ball. When he fell, he dislocated both of his knees and could not stand back up. Jones easily made it to first base. Smith stayed at second. Dutch then called from the dugout, “Johnson, you are up!” (When I first shared this dream, I had not yet received permission to use Jane Hamon’s name, so I used the fictitious name of Johnson.) Johnson took a bat in her hand and stepped from the dugout and I said to her, “They will position themselves at the wall because they know you can break the home run record with one swing of your bat. I feel you should bunt towards third.” She replied, “That’s exactly what I was thinking. I have noticed that he does not have the rapidness in his eyes that he thinks he has.” As Johnson stood in the batter’s box we once again could see the number on the jersey. Her number was 4851. The pitcher mocked her as she stood there waiting for the pitch. He threw a fastball high and just outside the corner of the plate missing the strike zone. Johnson stood still. She never even twitched. Seeing this, Gabriel looked at Smith and gave him the signal to steal third as soon as the pitcher started his next wind-up. The pitcher drew back his arm and as soon as he did, Smith left second base and it was almost as if he just appeared on third. This confused the pitcher as he caught Smith out of the corner of his eye stepping onto third base. He released the ball and it came to the plate again this time, low and just outside the strike zone. Dutch stepped outside our dugout and motioned to Johnson to come over to him. He leaned into her ear and said, “Let the next two pitches go through. No swinging at what he is throwing. This will give us the strategy we need to win this.” Some thought that Dutch was thinking that the pitcher was done and he did not have any more strikes left in his arm. Johnson stepped back to the batter’s box and did as Dutch had coached her to do. The next pitch came hard and fast. “STRIKE ONE” the umpire shouted and then laughed. The second pitch came as a change-up pitch and was very slow. “STRIKE TWO!” Johnson stepped out of the batter’s box and took a deep breath looking back at Coach Dutch. Dutch motioned Johnson back to where he was standing and said, “The count is 2 and 2. We are in the right place to bunt it down the third baseline.” She approached the plate again and positioned herself. The pitcher released a curveball. Johnson stepped into it and bunted down the third baseline. It caught the third baseman off guard. No one had ever bunted on this pitch before. He moved very slowly and retrieved the ball. He held it in fear that Smith would advance to home plate. Jones easily moved to second and Johnson took first. Now the bases were loaded. The coach and the catcher from the other team went out to the pitcher’s mound and began speaking with the pitcher. In the dream, we could tell there was much disagreement among them. It even seemed that the pitcher had authority over the coach of the other team. As we were watching this, a phone rang in our dugout. Dutch answered it. We could see him looking up and behind home plate into one of the skyboxes as he talked on the phone. He was speaking to our team owner. The owner of the team said to Dutch, “You are to pinch-hit. We have a wicket here to not only win the game but to win big.” He went on to say, “Dutch, you know this pitcher. He has lost big games before. He is not what he has made himself out to be. Be patient and don’t be distracted by what he will throw at you. He wants to get your eyes off the pennant.” Dutch hung up the phone and said, “Hood, hand me my bat. I’ve been instructed to pinch-hit.” I reached for Dutch’s bat and pulled it from a large wooden communion box that it was locked away in. As I removed it I could see clearly that the bat had inscribed on it Ephesians 1:17. I handed it to Dutch as he said to me, “What direction should I launch the ball?” I said to Dutch, “Straight for the throat of the pitcher! Remove his voice!” Dutch replied with a smile on his face, “You know, many will think this is a dirty and illegal move on our part. But what the heck, we won’t allow them to force us to play by their rules anymore. We play ball for the Royals.” As Dutch walked to the batter’s box I said, “If you hit the mark it will change this game.” The pitcher approached the batter’s box and as Dutch stepped into it, said to him, “I am here to take you and this weak team out once and for all. You have no hope of making it out of this batter’s box in your right mind. This is my season and you will not steal it from me!” Dutch stepped up to him, just an inch of his face, and spoke with a firm and bold voice, “I am here to uncover you. Now go back to your perch and throw the ball if you dare!” As he walked back to the pitcher’s mound we could see his name on the back of his jersey. (Remember thus far in the dream we did not know who he was or who this team was.) Written there was the name, “Zephon.” He released his first pitch and it was not aimed anywhere close to home plate. It went over the stadium wall behind home plate and hit a bus that was parked in the parking lot. It put a large dent in the back left side of that bus. An alarm sounded with a very distinct sound. We knew this was our team’s bus. The umpire shouted, “STRIKE ONE!” The coach came to the pitcher’s mound again and brought the pitcher, Zephon, another baseball glove. It was a left-hander’s glove and an old greasy-looking ball. The pitcher had been pitching right-handed the entire game up until now. He went into his wind-up and released the ball; it flew into the dugout. The umpire shouted, “STRIKE TWO!” The umpire spoke to the pitcher, “You only have one strike left.” It was at this time in the dream that we noticed the umpire was wearing a white doctor’s-type coat that had the insignia of a Pharmacist on it. Dutch turned to the umpire and said to him, "You are no longer allowed to call this game; we remove you, and Michael will take your place!” (I don’t know who Michael was in the dream but am thinking the angel.) Dutch then turned to the pitcher and said, “Throw your ball. This is your last pitch but not my last ball! I will deliver the third strike to you and your house!” Zephon threw the ball and Dutch hit it with a powerful swing. The ball went to its mark and struck the throat of the pitcher taking his voice and his strength. Zephon was removed from the game. We knew in the dream the game had changed and this pitcher would never pitch again. End of Dream

Ceci and I are going to do a staff retreat with them, then she and I will take a much-needed vacation. I have asked some of my close friends and associates - many being regular contributors to the Give Him 15 posts - to fill in during this time. You will recognize most of the names; and I’ve thrown in one or two whom perhaps you haven’t heard from. You’re going to love the insights from all of them - this will be a wonderful smorgasbord! Enjoy! _____________________________________________________________________________ Aligned and Armored for Advancement - Jacquie Tyre Several years ago Holy Spirit began speaking to me about the Armor of God. He asked me a simple yet highly thought-provoking question. I heard Holy Spirit ask, “If the book of Ephesians is broadly accepted as a letter to the Church, the corporate Body of Christ, why do you only take the Armor of God as being personal?” That question left me stumped and wondering what “corporate armor” could possibly mean. Over the next couple of hours, Holy Spirit took me on a journey that would forever change the way I look at the armor of God. This journey led me to a deeper understanding of the corporate nature of the Ekklesia that, I believe, is necessary for us to advance victoriously in the days ahead. I share this revelation more fully in my latest book, "The Corporate Armor", available through Amazon. Today we are facing spiritual battles in our cities, states, and nations, raging conflicts between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. While Scripture clearly tells us that we are seated far above all principalities, powers, rulers, and dominions and that we are more than conquerors through Christ, more often than not, we find ourselves not seeing the manifestation of that victory. I believe our understanding of the corporate nature of the Ekklesia being fully armored in God’s armor provides a key to help us unlock more significant victories in the days ahead. As the Body of Christ, we are members individually with one another with Christ as our head. We are placed and positioned by the Lord in the Body so that every joint supplies what is needed to cause growth of the whole in love (1 Cor 12:12-20, Eph 4:11-16). When we assemble as One New Man, the grace of Christ flows through each one supplying strength according to the measure of Christ’s faith working in us. The workings of Holy Spirit moving through each member produces a manifestation of Christ on earth through His Body. Amazing, indeed! What if we were fully armored in the Corporate Armor of God, with the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace, the Shield of Faith, and the Helmet of Salvation placed upon us the One New Man? I propose that we would see an increase of advancements against the gates of hell and the powers of darkness if we moved together as one fully aligned and armored together with God’s very own armor. (see Ephesians 6:11-18) Holy Spirit revealed that the five-fold leadership gifts of Christ that have been given to some to equip the saints for the work of ministry specifically present the pieces of the Armor of God. Let’s look at each part of the armor considering this revelation. First, as the Passion Translation states, we “put on the belt of truth to strengthen you to stand in triumph.” The belt represents those given to the Church as apostles. Apostles provide strength and protection by laying and securing a firm foundation of truth for the Body of Christ. They often challenge our belief systems with words like, “you have heard it said of old, but I say to you,” bringing forth wisdom based upon the truth of Who God is and what His Word reveals. They also cast vision and strategy for the future to keep us from falling prey to stagnation and the tyranny of the urgent. Next, we “put on the breastplate of righteousness” as protection over the body’s most vital organs. Prophets bring revelation to point the way toward righteousness, and righteousness protects the very essence of life. When prophets speak, they release the sound of heaven to enable and empower the Ekklesia to move forward in right standing, properly aligned with heaven. With Christ as the Chief Cornerstone, prophets connected directly with apostles lay a firm foundation of truth and revelation. The belt of truth directly connects with the breastplate of righteousness, forming a protective shield and laying a solid foundation for the Ekklesia to advance victoriously. Next, we put on the “shoes of the preparation of the Gospel of peace” by corporately embracing the leadership grace of those positioned as Evangelists. Evangelists prepare and equip the people of God to go out into the world with feet protected to tread upon serpents, scorpions, and every evil thing without having the walk of the Body compromised or wounded. The evangelist prepares the saints to be sure they are protected by peace, knowing that it is the God of peace who will soon crush satan under our feet (Romans 16:20). Evangelists make sure the People of God continue to move out, take new territory, set captives free, and advance the Gospel of Peace throughout the land. Pastors or Shepherds are uniquely gifted and given to the Ekklesia to strengthen the Body of Christ in their walk of faith and protect by extending the very faith of Christ over the weary, weak, and war-worn. Shepherds raise the shield of faith to protect the Body and provide a place of restoration in preparation for going out into the world to advance the Kingdom of God. As we take up the shield of faith, protection surrounds the Body to extinguish the assaults of the enemy that constantly seek to undermine our walk of faith. Taking up the Helmet of Salvation brings us to Christ’s leadership gift of the Teacher. Teachers teach the Word with clarity and depth, enabling the people of God to recognize and bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor 10:5). Working together with apostles and prophets, they help ensure that the revelation that comes forthrightly aligns with God’s Word, Will, and Ways as revealed throughout Scripture. Teachers live to bring the people of God into the fullness of living according to the Mind of Christ. Finally, the Body, fully armored with Christ’s leadership gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher, take up the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. Firmly gripping the Sword of the Spirit with all manner of prayer, the Ekklesia releases declarations and decrees to defeat the enemy and unlock the purposes of Christ and His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. God has called us to align with His leadership order. We are stronger together, rightly connected within the Body, and armored together! As we put on the whole armor of God, we are enabled and empowered to stand, individually and corporately, effectively and efficiently as we fight the good fight of faith against the forces of darkness that are raging in our cities, states, and nation. Pray with me: Father, in the name of Jesus, we choose today to align our hearts with the revelation of Your Word and embrace the corporate identity You have revealed throughout the Scriptures. Father, forgive us for our independent ways and our tendency to isolate from the Kingdom relationships and alignments that You have ordained for us with appointed kingdom leaders. We repent today and ask that You would guide Your people to come into proper alignment so that we might effectively wage a good warfare against the schemes of the enemy. Lord, grant that we would come into the proper positioning with righteous posturing of our hearts within Your Body so that we might be Armored together to advance victoriously against satan and his diabolical forces of evil. We acknowledge that there is no one greater than Jesus the Christ. There is no organization more powerful than Your Ekklesia when fully aligned, armored, and advancing according to Christ’s plans, purposes, and promises. No power of hell, no governmental structure, and no strategy of demonic despots can withstand the power and authority of Your Ekklesia functioning according to Your original intent. Therefore today, we take our stand together, fully protected in Your very own Armor, to wage a good warfare armored with wisdom, revelation, peace, faith, and salvation, advancing in victory in Yeshua’s name. The dream dealt with Holy Spirit re-opening 4 past wells of revival. The 4 wells had to do with prayer, spiritual leaders being renewed with holy fire, world missions and great harvest. (Here are links to those 4 posts: Fulton Street Well, Tennant's Well, Haystack Well, and Cane Ridge Well.) Greg has now had an incredible sequel to the dream, revealing four more wells that Holy Spirit intends to re-open. Some wells from the past are not wells of revival, however, but are filled with polluted water that must be cleansed. The first well of this second dream is one of these, filled with both good and bad water. Here is the first portion of the dream: **************** (3/24/22) “The dream started with Dutch and me walking through a field containing many wells, just as we did in the first dream. We were commenting about how there were a lot of wells that looked abandoned. As we were talking I said to Dutch, ‘Do you hear that? I hear the sound of metal grinding against metal. It sounds like gears grinding.’ “Dutch said, ‘I hear it.’ “We began walking towards the sound and as we did, Gabriel, the Archangel, appeared walking beside us. He said, ‘It’s time to re-open other wells in America. She has reached another milestone within the journey of awakening.’ “Dutch replied, ‘Journey?’ “Gabriel said, ‘Yes! She has been in the process of this awakening since late 2000.’ “We were approaching the well making the loud grinding noise. Upon arrival, we saw that it was sitting in a field with other wells, which were all fenced in by an old, rusted, iron fence. We knew immediately that we were in some sort of graveyard. Gabriel spoke again, ‘Gentlemen, these wells will live again. Resurrection power is here! The time was set and is now for these wells to begin to function at full capacity. They will give you the insight and strategies you’ll need for the advancement of awakening, in a way that darkness will not be able to hold back.’ He went on to say, ‘You are in a great time of war, in the seen, and the unseen. Go to work!’ FIRST WELL “As we approached the first well, the one making the loud grinding noise, we began to realize that it was not a grinding, but a groaning. This well, like those we had seen in the previous field (in the previous dream), had a bronze, engraved plate on it. Dutch took his hand and wiped away a tarnished film on the bronze plate, just as he had done with the previous wells. He said, ‘I can read it. It says, “Rappahannock River Well - No Rank Needed - Not an Old Light but a New Light.” Underneath that is written, ‘Romans 5:17.’ “As Dutch finished reading, Gabriel touched the well and it opened up. We could see inside, and when looking into it saw a scene, a vision. What we saw was shocking: people of many different ethnicities, ages, and walks of life, traipsing around a battlefield. I said to Dutch, ‘These people are in hope deferred. They’re dazed!’ We could see in the vision within the dream, that there were thousands of crowns laying on the ground around the people. No one knew whose crown was whose. This was causing them to just wander around, slumped over, as if they were defeated. They didn’t know it, but they were not truly defeated! We could also see that each of them had a bronze key attached to and hanging from their shoulders. “Dutch said, ‘Hood, give me the horn from your bag.’ I reached into a bag slung over my shoulder and pulled out a bronze battlefield bugle, which I handed to Dutch. He stuck his head into the well where the open vision was being seen, placed the bronze battle bugle to his lips. But instead of blowing into it, he used it as a microphone. Pointing it into the open well he began to declare loudly, ‘KINGS, HUMBLE YOURSELVES AND RETURN TO YOUR CROWNS! TAKE UP THE CAUSE! ALIGN WITH COURAGE AND DISCIPLINE! IT MAY BE BLOODY BUT YOU WILL REIGN!’ “Dutch then pulled his head and the bronze battle bugle from the opening of the well and, as he did, we could again clearly see into the vision. Some individuals were kneeling down on both knees, picking up their crown and placing it on their heads. They began to stand upright and a straightening of their backs occurred. Some then began bending down and picking up the crowns of others, placing them on the rightful owners’ heads. All of this was happening quickly. We then heard a roar from the vision within this well. Gabriel quickly reached with his arm and pulled Dutch and me to his side. “Immediately, crowned LIONS began jumping from the well into the graveyard, landing so forcibly that they shook the ground. The people had become lions! They immediately placed their noses to the ground and began smelling. They laid on their bellies and roared mightily. Many lions were sniffing and roaring, and doing so in different directions. They would then stand for a moment, with noses in the air, run forward a good ways and drop to their bellies again, roaring forcefully. “This was occurring with every lion that jumped from the well - there were thousands of them! Their roars were so forcible and loud that we could literally feel the ground and the heavens shaking. “Gabriel began to laugh with joy! “He then said, ‘You will teach them to keep their crowns on and straight. You will teach them to amplify their roar so that darkness will always be in a state of shaking. This is a key to continual kingdom advancement.’ He went on to say to us in a matter-of-fact voice, ‘Teach them to keep the keys on their shoulders from tarnishing. The tarnishing will hinder their ability to lock and unlock the supernatural.’ “Dutch then looked at Gabriel and said, ‘Let me make sure I understand this correctly. We are not enlisting Christians; we are enlisting kings!’ “Gabriel replied, ‘King is the only order in the Kingdom.’ “As he was speaking with us, we could see that these lions had made their way off into the far distance. Dutch said, ‘That’s the Ekklesia!’” (End of Part One) *********** My Thoughts Gabriel first said to us that America had reached another phase of her awakening, a journey that began in 2000. This is incredibly fascinating to me, for a couple of reasons. This is the year I had a dramatic encounter with the Lord, during which He mantled me for my calling to America. I am certainly not suggesting that what happened to me caused or initiated the awakening process in America. God no doubt moved upon many people at that time, launching them into their role as He began the process. But the journey began in 2000. I also found it fascinating that Holy Spirit referred to America's awakening as a “journey.” I have known America was on a journey toward revival, that it was a process, but for God to reference it in this way was a great faith builder in me. We are not late! He is not late! Much has been happening in the spiritual realm to prepare America and the earth for what God is about to do. Gabriel then led us to the first well, which was the Rappahannock River well. The Rappahannock River is a river in eastern Virginia. It traverses the entire northern part of the state. An important river in American history, the Rappahannock was long an area of occupation by indigenous peoples. Sadly, as often occurred in America’s history, the First Nations people, some of whom actually bear this name, were displaced by the Europeans. During the colonial era, early settlements in the Virginia Colony were formed along the river. During the War of 1812, the Battle of Rappahannock River was fought on the river. During the American Civil War, due to the river's acting as a barrier to north-south troop movements, it effectively functioned as the boundary of the eastern theater of the war between the "North" and the "South.” It was at the center of a major theater of battle where tens of thousands of troops fought against each other. Significant battles fought along the river include the Battle of Fredericksburg and the Battle of Rappahannock Station. It is easy to see how this well, filled with a great diversity of people, represents thousands of disoriented, disillusioned, and hopeless people. God created them to walk with Him as kings and priests, but evil had knocked the crown from their heads. First Nations people who had been displaced; slaves, represented by the Civil War; and thousands of soldiers who perished in the Civil War - all are pictured by this well. However, the word of the Lord was released, enabling them to pick up their crowns. They began assisting one another in doing so, and were quickly transformed into strong lions, leaping from the well. They were strong, healed and fully restored, ready to demonstrate their great strength and prowess. Gabriel was ecstatic. He then instructed us to teach the lions how to wear their crowns and to roar with even more ferocity. He said they would be a key to continual Kingdom advancement. We were then instructed to show them how to keep their keys from tarnishing, which would enable them to lock and unlock the supernatural. Crowns and keys speak of authority. They were called “the Ekklesia” which, according to Matthew 16, has the keys of the Kingdom, with authority to lock and unlock. When I said to Gabriel, “Let me make sure I understand. We aren’t enlisting Christians, but rather Kings, right?” his answer was profound. “King is the only order in the Kingdom,” he replied! We are not simply called to be Christians, on our way to heaven. We are called to reign as Kings in life, through Christ. This is what the verse that was written on the nameplate, Romans 5:17 says: “For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” What a strong word. And there is much more to understand from this first well. We will look at that, along with the second well, in tomorrow’s post. Pray with me: Father, thank You for the journey of awakening. Thank You for working in our nation and the nations to prepare us for the coming revival. America is well pictured by the disoriented people in this well. We have most certainly misplaced our crowns. But we are not defeated. You are restoring us, commanding us to pick up our crowns. You are transforming us into the Ekklesia Christ assured us He would build. We are not just Christians waiting to get to heaven. We have been given the nature of our King, Jesus, who is the Lion of Judah. And You are teaching us how to roar, as was intended. We ask You to teach us to wear our crowns properly and to keep our keys polished and ready. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. Yesterday we talked about a remnant of Israelites under the leadership of Zerubbabel, the governor, and Joshua, the high priest, returning to Jerusalem from decades of captivity in Babylon. Their first responsibility was to rebuild God’s temple. King Cyrus had allowed them to return and even helped raise the funds to do the rebuilding as well as returning all the temple’s articles of silver and gold which Nebuchadnezzar had stolen – 54000 of them. This returning remnant rebuilt the foundation of the temple and then held a massive celebration service. The celebrating was short-lived, however. Opposition came from neighboring people who hired anti-Yahweh lobbyists to spread rumors or spoil the king’s thinking. The remnant of Israel became fearful and discouraged. Rather than trust God to sort things out and continue giving them favor, they stopped work on the temple for 16 years. For 16 years all they had accomplished for God’s house – the temple – was to pour a slab. Of course, during this time they had built their own homes and businesses. Finally, God had enough of their complacency and raised up a prophet, Haggai, to deliver His message to them. “On the first day of the sixth month of the second year in the reign of King Darius of Persia, God’s message was delivered by the prophet Haggai to the governor of Judah, Zerubbabel, and to the high priest, Joshua. ‘God of the angel armies says: ‘The people procrastinate. They say this is not the right time to rebuild My temple, the temple of God.’ 'Shortly after that, God said more and Haggai spoke it: ‘How is it that it is the right time for you to live in your fine homes while Mine is in ruins?’ 'And then a little later, God of the angel armies spoke out yet again: ‘Take a good, hard look at your life. Think it over. You’ve spent a lot of money, but you haven’t much to show for it. You keep filling your plates, but you never get filled up. You keep drinking and drinking and drinking, but you are always thirsty. You put on layer after layer of clothes, but you can’t get warm. That’s why God of the angel armies said take a good, hard look at your life. Think it over.’ ‘Then God said: ‘Here is what I want you to do. Climb into the hills and cut some timber. Bring it down and rebuild the temple. Do it just for Me. Honor Me. You’ve had great ambitions for yourselves but nothing has come of it. The little you have brought to My temple, I have blown away. There was nothing to it. And why? Because while you have run around caught up with taking care of your own house, My home is in ruins. That’s why. Because of your stinginess. And so I’ve given you a dry summer and a meager crop. I’ve matched your tight-fisted stinginess by decreeing a season of drought, drying up fields and hills, withering gardens and orchards, stunting vegetables, and fruit. Nothing—not man or woman, not animal or crop—is going to thrive.” ‘Then the governor, Zerubbabel , Joshua the high priest, and all the people with them listened, really listened, to the voice of their God. When God sent the prophet Haggai to them, they paid attention to him. In listening to Haggai, they honored God. ‘Then Haggai, God’s messenger, preached God’s message to the people: 'I am with you!’” (Haggai 1:1-14) When the people responded appropriately to God’s words, He was quick to respond with grace and favor. It wasn’t really those in opposition to God that were His problem. He was able to deal with them. What He needed was a people of faith who would not bow to fear, discouragement or self-centeredness. When they were able to shake free from these things, God favored them once again and said “I am with you! Let’s go!” A month later, Haggai prophesied again: “'Tell Governor Zerubbabel and High Priest Joshua and all the people: ‘Is there anyone here who saw the Temple the way it used to be, all glorious? And what do you see now? Not much, right? “‘So get to work, Zerubbabel!’ “‘Get to work, Joshua—high priest!’ “‘Get to work, all you people!’ “‘Yes, get to work! For I am with you. Put into action the word I covenanted with you when you left Egypt. I’m living and breathing among you right now. Don’t be timid. Don’t hold back.’ ‘Before you know it, I will shake up sky and earth, ocean and fields. And I’ll shake down all the godless nations. They’ll bring bushels of wealth and I will fill this Temple with splendor.’ ‘I own the silver, I own the gold.’ “‘This Temple is going to end up far better than it started out, a glorious beginning but an even more glorious finish: a place in which I will hand out wholeness and holiness.” (Haggai 2:1-9) I have felt for quite some time that many in the church of America have grown weary in their prayers for revival and the turning around of our nation. Evil lobbyists, media opposition, inappropriate laws, intimidating government agencies, elections that don’t go our way, evil politicians. Satan has used these and more to try and wear us down. Consequently, many have done just what these Israelites did - decided it must not be time for our turnaround and that when God is ready, He’ll do it. God, however, needs us to persevere in our faith and prayers. He does not want us to pull away from this holy assignment of turning our nation back to Him through a sweeping revival. We must not be intimidated. We must not bow to slander, threats or complacency. We must stay the course! I keep hearing the words of my friend and co-laborer, Don Lynch, who moved to heaven a couple weeks ago. I posted a portion of a message he recently gave where he prophesied the word of the Lord to the praying church. “You must finish this!” he said. “Finish this! Finish this!” And so we must. We must finish this assignment of turning America back to God. We must pray and decree God’s words until revival is burning uncontrollably in America and then around the world. We must let nothing – wars, threats, fear, discouragement, setbacks, unbelief – we must let nothing stop us. Finish this..! Pray with me: Father, You have begun a good work in our nation. You have added apostles and prophets to the leadership of the church. You have raised up intercessors and a remnant of people who are determined to see revival in America. We are determined to see America turn back to You and accomplish all You have destined for her. We are determined to see righteousness in our government once again. We are determined to see the young generation of Americans come to know You. We are determined to see world-wide revival - at least a billion souls. We will not stop with a foundation. We will not yield to any opposition. We will not yield to fear, confusion, unbelief, discouragement, or selfishness. We will finish this! We WILL finish this! Raise up Haggai’s in our day with Your words. Stir the hearts of Your people. Stir up those whose hearts once burned with fire for revival and breakthrough yet who now have settled for less. Stir up pastors who have chosen to settle for less than the fires of revival. Stir up intercessors who have allowed the fire to go out. Awaken us all to Your passion in this hour. May there be a roar of intercession that is released in this nation and the nations of the earth. We ask You, rend the heavens and come down! We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. 6 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-17-2022 February 17, 2022 The Rainbow Trout During the 2020 election battle, I went with a team of 20 intercessors to Coudersport, PA, to pray at the headwaters of the Allegheny River. This location was chosen based on a series of dreams given to different individuals. Pennsylvania was our nation’s birthplace, and we felt that Holy Spirit was highlighting this location to confirm that a new birth is coming to America. While there, He gave Clay Nash another significant dream. I mentioned this dream in yesterday's post. Today I want to share the entire dream with you, along with some of the insights gleaned from it. It is encouraging. Clay says: ***************** “I dreamed the morning of Nov 16 [2020], while in Coudersport, PA, that Dutch and I were fly fishing in the Allegheny River. “There were people along the bank of the Allegheny kneeling and praying. Each person, after a time of prayer, would rise and walk away very focused, very intentional, and very fast-paced, as if they had received an assignment. Dutch, on the other hand, was very intensely focused on the fly fishing. “People began coming to Dutch and shouting, ‘Come on out of the water, we need you with us.’ It irritated me and I was about to intervene in their disruptions when Dutch told me to ‘stay focused on the fly fishing; God is about to reveal Himself.’ “We remained diligent in casting our flies upon the water. At almost the exact same moment we both caught trout. Both trout had beautiful rainbows on them, so bright it was amazing. Dutch, being a distance from me shouted, ‘Come here, you must see this.’ “As I sought to remove the fly from my trout’s mouth, in it I discovered a gold coin that had the word, ‘Mercy’ on it. I shouted back to Dutch, ‘You must see THIS!’ I moved quickly to show him. Many people were still kneeling and praying. They began to arise and they, too, had ‘Mercy Coins.’ Each one threw a gold ‘Mercy Coin’ into the river. “When I arrived where Dutch was, he showed me the gold ‘Mercy Coin’ he had retrieved from his trout’s mouth. He then held the trout up to look at the rainbow on its side. On the right side of the trout, over the rainbow, was the word, ‘Reset.’ Over the rainbow on the left side it said, ‘America shall be saved.’ “About this time a raft came floating down the river with George Washington and other people in it, some of them being First Nations people. They were holding up the Appeal to Heaven flag. The flag, however, had additional wording on the bottom: ‘No Surrender.’” *************** End of dream ************** First, there were many people on the banks of the river, praying. The dream was about appealing to heaven. Clay and I were fishing for rainbow trout and each of us caught one. In scripture the rainbow represents covenant. (Genesis 9:1-17) On my trout, over the rainbow on each side, were the words “reset” and “America shall be saved.” I realize there is a reset movement being conducted by globalists, but don’t be confused by this. God is doing His reset, also. But America’s reset and salvation can only occur as we honor covenant. First and foremost, we must honor the covenant we have with God through the blood of Jesus. But Holy Spirit has also been telling us that America must honor, and we believers must decree, the power of the covenant we have with God as a nation. It is very significant to me that I have been writing a good bit about that in recent GH15 posts and now Holy Spirit has reminded me of this dream. I had not thought of it in a year; Clay mentioned it to me on Monday of this week. In the mouth of “covenant”, we found “mercy” - the coins. This was and remains very significant to me because in 2016 God began speaking to me about His mercy being offered to America. In three separate instances - one in front of the White House, a dream given to an intercessor, and a vision given to a pastor - He showed me that mercy would be granted to our nation. The vision was given to a pastor and friend of mine, Kingsley Walker, while he was praying with us during the Reset Conference I hosted just before the 2016 elections. In his vision, the sky began raining U.S. coins. This became a deluge until we were eventually standing ankle-deep in the coins. They were exact replicas of U.S. silver dollars, except that each one had the word MERCY across the top. In the vision, I picked up some of the coins, looked at Kingsley and said, “Mercy is our new currency.” I encouraged Kingsley to have silver coins made that looked exactly like the Mercy Coins from the vision. He did so and they are beautiful. God has used these as prayer momentos all over the world now. A friend of his and mine just gave seven of these coins to several heads of nations, telling them that God desires to give mercy to their nation as well. People have given them to their members of Congress, governors, pastors, and friends. I buried one in the soil at the headwaters of the Allegheny River during one of my prayer journeys there. It will not be America’s good works or righteousness that purchases/earns restoration. Our salvation will be purchased only with God’s mercy, bought for us by the blood of Christ. God was confirming this to me again in 2020, reminding me that we will obtain mercy through our covenant with Him. This alone will save and reset America. I mentioned yesterday that George Washington, along with others, then floated down the river holding an Appeal To Heaven flag. Washington, “the Father of our nation,” was the person who had this flag designed and made. He flew it over the naval vessels and many battlefields in the Revolutionary War, reminding the colonists that appealing to heaven for help was our only hope of freedom. I did not mention yesterday the First Nations people in the boat, intentionally waiting until today. Their presence is very significant. It was never God’s heart and plan that we “take” this land from the First Nations people. It was His intent that we partner with them and live in peace, just as William Penn did with the First Nations people of what is now Pennsylvania. Penn was “given” the land by the king of England. He knew, however, it was not the king’s land to give, so he purchased it from the native people, and entered into a sacred covenant with them, which he never broke. I have known for years that the next great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in America would include the First Nations people. God loves them dearly and will not allow them to be forgotten. I will say more about this tomorrow, sharing a report of what is happening among one of the tribes. But in the dream, they were in the boat with us. How much clearer could Holy Spirit make this? We must have the First Nations people in the boat! They have an incredible role to play in what God wants to do in our nation, and I believe He is coming to visit the reservations and native people all across this land with a great revival. Let’s pray regarding this. Pray with me: Father, we honor the shed blood of Jesus Christ and our covenant with You through Him. Our hope is built on nothing else. Through this blood, we have access to Your mercy seat. We come to You now in His name asking for mercy to our nation. We ask that You reset America, bringing us back to Your plan and purpose. We ask that You restore faith and a love for You, through the greatest revival America has ever experienced. We ask for this same outpouring to all the nations of the earth. We will not surrender, we will continue to appeal and we will do so in faith. We believe in Your goodness and love. We believe in Your heart of grace, mercy, and compassion. We call on that now. We pray especially for our First Nations friends all across this nation. We ask for an incredible, supernatural, earthshaking revival to come to the First Nations people of this land. We believe we will see this. And we ask for Your continued work of cleansing in America. Give us righteous government once again. Overturn Roe versus Wade. Heal our land, Father. We ask all of this in the name of Christ. Amen. In paragraph four, I said that the word “covenant” is in the Declaration of Independence. Since I had referenced the Declaration of Independence already in the paragraph, one of my proofers assumed I was still talking about this document, and changed the word “declaration” to “Declaration of Independence.” I was not referring to that. I was referencing the statement made by Robert Hunt at Cape Henry in 1607. He used the word “covenant” in his declaration. I did not catch this late last night until I was actually recording the post, nor did my proofer. This is now corrected in the written post at GiveHim15.com.) THE TREE SHALL LIVE Yesterday I began discussing a significant dream given to our friend, Gina Gholston. Here is the dream again: “I dreamed I was with some prayer leaders, including Dutch Sheets. We walked through a field of tall grass and noticed a hill in front of us. This caught our attention because it was the only hill around us. The rest of the land was a level, grassy field. “On the top of the hill was a huge, very old, beautiful tree. We were so captivated by this tree that we decided to climb the hill to get a closer look. The tree was the only thing on the hill, and its canopy was so large that shade from it covered the entire hill. The ground around the tree was level, and the grass was tall and thick. “We were in awe of this beautiful tree, amazed at the size of the trunk and the massive expanse of its canopy. As we walked around the tree, looking up into the branches, someone tripped over what appeared to be a root protruding out of the ground. All of a sudden, these ‘roots’ appeared everywhere. Where there had been tall, thick grass, now there was no grass, and these ‘roots’ were laying all over the top of the ground. They had not been there when we first arrived. We were very puzzled by this, so I walked over and looked at one of them more closely. “As I did, I could see that the ‘root’ was moving. The movement had not been obvious until I looked more closely. I motioned for my friend to come to where I was standing, and whispered to her, ‘Watch this!’ We both could clearly see the ‘root’ was moving. “I walked over to Dutch and said, ‘These are not roots; they’re the backbones of demons. They are alive and are eating the root system of this beautiful tree.’ The demons didn’t realize we could see them, but their backbones were exposed and we could see their movements. “I then asked the prayer leaders, ‘What should we do about this?’ “Dutch replied, ‘I know what to do!’ He stepped away for a moment and then returned carrying a perfectly carved wooden staff. “Someone asked, ‘What is that?’ “I knew what he held and said, ‘This is a staff that has been carved from an old tamarisk tree. Tamarisks are evergreens.’ “Dutch nodded his head yes. He then handed the staff to me, and I walked over to one of the demon backbones. I struck it with the evergreen staff and, as I did, the demon vanished. I could physically hear the sound ‘poof;’ and it was gone. I began walking from ‘root’ to ‘root’ hitting them with the evergreen staff. I then looked at the other prayer leaders and noticed that they all now had staffs in their hands made from evergreens. They, too, were using the staffs to destroy the demons. Together, we shattered every demon and saved the tree.” End of dream. ******************* The large, beautiful tree high on the hill, surrounded by green grass, obviously represents America. Our nation has long been referred to as, “a city on a hill,” spoken of frequently by our nation’s founders and leaders. No less than 13 Presidents have used this phrase in referencing America. “‘A City upon a Hill’ is a phrase derived from the teaching of Salt and Light in Jesus's Sermon on the Mount (from Matthew 5:14). In a modern context, it is used in United States politics to refer to America acting as a "beacon of hope" for the world.(1) “This scripture was cited at the end of Puritan John Winthrop's lecture or treatise, ‘A Model of Christian Charity’ delivered on March 21, 1630, at Holyrood Church in Southampton before his first group of Massachusetts Bay colonists embarked on the ship Arbella to settle Boston.(2)(3) In quoting Matthew's Gospel (5:14) in which Jesus warns, ‘a city on a hill cannot be hid,’ Winthrop warned his fellow Puritans that their new community would be ‘as a city upon a hill, the eyes of all people are upon us,’ meaning, if the Puritans failed to uphold their covenant with God, then their sins and errors would be exposed for all the world to see: ‘So that if we shall deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a byword through the world.’”(4) Could any warning have been more poignant and more true? The green grass around the tree represents the blessing and prosperity of God (Psalm 23:2). America has been blessed and exalted for centuries under God’s favor and blessings. In the dream, however, the green pastures had already disappeared and the roots were now being destroyed. It doesn’t take an arborist to know that a tree can still look and seem healthy for some time, even when the roots have begun to die. America is on life-support. Our covenant roots are dying. No honest person can deny this truth. Many in our government are dishonest, much of our education system is a joke, our financial health is hanging by a thread, our first and most fundamental right - freedom of speech - is being stolen, we kill our babies, the family unit has been decimated, we don’t know male from female, college professors are stating that pedophilia is healthy, kindergartners are being taught that they can change their gender, our president is mentally challenged and the laughingstock of the world, our history is being revised, and the church - God’s remedy for these evils - has become weak and a subculture, rather than being salt and light. Sadly, the list could go on. To state that the grass is no longer green and the roots of the tree are dying is an understatement of monumental proportions. Demons, in the dream, previously hidden underground and thinking they were still hidden, could now be seen destroying the roots of this great tree. This is such an accurate and horrifying portrayal of what is occurring in America! Through sin, compromise, lies, and deception, demons are destroying America’s godly roots. People are being used, of course, but the real cause behind America’s demise is demonic. While we must work to stop the plans and attempts of those attempting to destroy our nation, these attempts will fail if we don’t deal with the spiritual, demonic source. In the dream, their activity was exposed. God has been and continues to expose the corruption and evil in America. Many leaders have been saying this would occur. When the 2020 election was not turned around as so many hoped, I (one of many) began sensing and saying, “This delay is to bring exposure of the evil at work in America.” I knew God would now reveal evil, corruption, lies, and devious intentions. I didn’t foresee the absolute stupidity that would also be revealed. I’m not trying to be insulting or mean-spirited. There simply is no other way to describe many of the mindsets and plans manifesting in America. Many people are revealing themselves to be fools. In the dream, government didn’t save the tree roots. They cannot do so. Once the demonic activity is destroyed, government can be reformed and then be part of rebuilding our nation. But only prayer can save the roots. Church activities and programs, great preaching and teaching, evangelism programs and Bible studies; government leaders, actions and programs, better laws; changes in our education system; an honest media; these are all needed but none of it can save America. Please hear me: only God, through the power of prayer, including spiritual warfare, can save America. We must have a resurrection! And then the staffs appeared in the dream. Tamarisk tree staffs. The tamarisk tree is an evergreen. I posted about this yesterday. Evergreens symbolize covenant, just as they did in the life of Abraham and other cultures. Washington placed an evergreen tree on the Appeal To Heaven flag. God could not be more clear. America must return to her covenant roots. The praying church must war by decreeing and declaring God’s covenantal purposes for us. When we say what God says it is a powerful weapon against the enemy. Our words carry spiritual power. Speak and declare His written word, of course. Nothing is more powerful than His words given to us in scripture. But also declare the declarations and decrees made by our early founders and leaders, as we have spoken about in the previous two posts. Teach them to your children. Pastors should preach about our godly roots and purpose as a nation! BOLDLY! And yes, godly government leaders should quote these statements about God and our purpose as a nation, about our dependence on Him, of His influence in our founding - every chance they get. This is one of the weapons that will release the power needed to overcome the demonic onslaught. We should fill the heavens over America with these decrees. Let’s do so now. Pray with me: America was raised up by God to be a city on a hill, a beacon of light to all nations. America was called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom to all nations of the earth. America is one nation, under God. We have put our trust in Him and no other. We have no king but Jesus. The “Laws of Nature and of Nature's God;” an appeal to the “Supreme Judge of the world;” “the Creator;” and “divine Providence” are all in our Declaration of Independence. We decree that, as a part of this legal document that birthed our nation, they remain true today. We declare them into the atmosphere of America! Leviticus 25:10 is on the Liberty Bell: “Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabitants thereof.” This verse, describing Christ as America’s jubilee Redeemer, rang out at our birth, announcing our faith and our destiny. We declare its message over America again today: Christ is our Redeemer! Proclaiming His message is our purpose! 7 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/february-9-2022 February 9, 2022 The Evergreen Staff In Yesterday's post, I said that America is in covenant with God and we can use the power of covenant to defeat Satan’s plans and purposes. I also explained that there are different types and levels of covenant. Obviously, we as a nation do not have the same type of covenant with God that believers have through the blood of Jesus. The word for covenant in Scripture, however, has a much broader range of meaning than a blood covenant of this level. The Hebrew word for covenant is beriyth. It means “a compact, covenant, alliance, pledge, promise, treaty, agreement, league; a constitution, ordinance.” We can make covenant promises, agreements, and alliances with people which are binding in the sense of honor. We are bound by integrity and principle to keep our promise, our word. These promises are not a blood covenant but they must still be honored, at times even legally. A legal contract is a binding covenant. Homeowners make contracts - covenants - with other homeowners. They are not blood covenants but, nonetheless, they are binding. In the same sense, God sees promises He has made as covenantal. They are binding. He always keeps His word, honoring it above even His name (Psalm 138: 2). And we should consider our promises, agreements, and alliances with Him in the same way: they are covenantal. God does not have a blood covenant with America. Nor could there ever be an agreement with a nation that rises to the level of the covenant God made with people through the blood of Christ. But He HAS entered into a covenantal alliance with America. Our Founders made statements declaring we were a nation under His rule and that we existed for His purposes, not just our own. They formed a government under His rule and guidance, and declared their dependence on Him. Four times He is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence. They appealed to Him for freedom and liberty. They wrote about Him in the Constitution and asked for His guidance and help when writing it. They planted a cross on the beach at Cape Henry and dedicated this land to His purposes and plan. They actually used the word “covenant” in the Declaration of Independence. They placed a Scripture on the Liberty Bell. These founders and leaders in America were motivated by and led by God. He was speaking through Robert Hunt at Cape Henry. He inspired the words on the Liberty Bell. He guided them as they wrote the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. He formed this nation and gave our framers the wisdom and language to use. No other document was quoted more by our Founders than the Bible. God was pleased with the outcome. He accepted this alliance and has blessed America because of her partnership with Him. This is all covenantal in nature. The word confession in Scripture, homologia, means “say the same thing.” There is power when we speak His words, saying what He says. This certainly refers to Scripture, but it refers to more than just Scripture. It refers to personal promises and prophetic words given to us. Paul told Timothy to war with the prophetic words spoken over him (1 Timothy 1:18). The promises He makes to us, which are often connected to His purposes for us, as they were with Timothy, have power. He wants and needs for us to agree with Him and say it! When I speak of warring with the covenant America has with God, this is what I am referring to. I am saying we must agree with and declare the prophetic words of our founders. We must decree the promises they made to God. And we must acknowledge with our words the covenantal alliance they made with Him and He made with us. This is what it means to war with covenant. The Appeal To Heaven flag has an evergreen tree on it. The evergreen tree symbolizes covenant, going all the way back to Abraham in Genesis 21:33. Abraham planted a tamarisk tree, which is an evergreen, and called on Everlasting God. He was declaring his covenantal allegiance to God. In a dream given to me in 2007, I knocked out spiritual giants with a boxing glove imprinted with the word, “Evergreen.” Holy Spirit was showing me that one of the ways we would take out the spiritual giants ruling America was through the power of our covenant with Him. By speaking and declaring what He has said and planned for America, and by declaring our alliance with Him, we are warring with covenant. I will say more about this dream in tomorrow’s post. Today, however, I just want to state the significance of the tamarisk evergreen tree staffs. Made of the same type evergreen Abraham used, the tamarisk tree, there can be no doubt that they represent covenant. As intercessors, it is by honoring and declaring our allegiance to God - our promises to Him, His promises to us, and our alliance with Him - that we will break the power of the demonic forces trying to destroy our nation. Let’s do so now, using the decrees we used yesterday. Prayer: We decree that America was founded by God, under an appeal to heaven, and that an appeal to heaven will give us a rebirth! We decree that we are a voice for Him to the ends of the earth, and the gospel of the kingdom will go forth from America to all people! We decree that we are a Christian nation, founded under Christ’s blood and rule, and that we have no king but Jesus! We decree that Yahweh is our Lawgiver, our Judge, and our King, and that our three branches of government were founded under this truth! (Isaiah 33:22) They will return to this! We decree we are a city on a hill, shining God’s light to all the earth, and that darkness will not win! We decree that God’s mercy over America endures forever, that His mercies are new every morning! We decree that He who began a good work in us will complete it, that God had a plan for our restoration before we even turned against Him! We decree that nothing can stop this turnaround because our trust is in God! This is even on our currency! We agree with it! We decree that God’s redeeming power is greater than satan’s deceiving lies, and that His truth will prevail! We decree that salvation belongs to God and that he loves to save, taking no pleasure in judgment! We decree that we are seated with Christ, and that satan is under our feet. We are far above all principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness! We decree that we are Christ’s Ekklesia/government on earth and that we have His keys of authority to bind and loose, open and close. We decree that no weapon formed against America, nor against the purposes of God in our generation, will prosper. 5 min read January 18, 2022 The Ekklesia is Pregnant…and Beginning to Show Yesterday I talked about the need to steward and birth God-given dreams, promises and prophetic words. My brother, Tim, sent me a very timely word that beautifully and powerfully confirms this. He speaks of “embryonic sermons,” a phrase associated with prophecy and the birth of Christ. It will encourage and instruct you. **************** “Matthew 1:18-23 tells us of the supernatural conception of Jesus. These verses explain that Mary’s pregnancy was Spirit conceived. Holy Spirit’s overshadowing presence surrounded Mary causing her to conceive - from the spirit realm - that which could now be birthed in the natural realm. This passage clearly shows us how spiritual conception from Holy Spirit occurs in people. The new birth, of course, pictures this, as does revelation which starts as a spiritual seed and grows into full understanding. “Holy Spirit’s glorious presence around and within us can cause a spiritual conception in our spirits. When we spend time in Holy Spirit’s empowering presence, His purposes and revelation, from the spirit realm, can be conceived within us; a dream of the Godhead can be planted in our hearts. This can even occur corporately when our worship brings the hovering presence of God over our gatherings. In this atmosphere, ‘callings’ from King Jesus, destiny-opportunities, visions, strategies, goals, and revelations are often conceived in us. “But, like Mary, we must steward and bring to birth what is conceived in us by Holy Spirit. When given to us, it is in an embryonic state. What she had been given, she stewarded to full term, feeding, protecting, and caring for the child until His birth. We, too, must steward and carry to full term the promises Holy Spirit plants within us, feeding them with God’s Word, protecting them with intercession, and decreeing them in faith. In the Message Translation, the angel actually refers to Isaiah’s prophecy of the birth of Christ as an ‘embryonic sermon.’ He said in Matthew 1:22 (MSG), regarding Mary’s conception, ‘This will bring Isaiah the prophet’s embryonic sermon to full term.’ What an intriguing statement! “Matthew actually called prophecy an ‘embryonic sermon,’ comparing it to a pregnancy, like a child in its embryonic state. As such, it must be cared for, fed, brought to full term, and then delivered/birthed into the earth realm! “The Ekklesia has been in a season where prophecy after prophecy has been released causing God‘s plan to be conceived. However, like a woman who is pregnant but not yet ‘showing,’ the promises have not yet been seen. Does that mean the prophecies are not alive? No, it means they are still embryonic, embryonic sermons declaring what can be birthed - if we steward them. “Too often prophetic words are abandoned and neglected - forgotten about. To the contrary, we must keep the words and promises watered by faith and decrees which cause them to grow and show. I believe we are now in a season of ‘showing.’ Ekklesia hubs and the body of Christ are beginning to ‘show’ that they are pregnant. Embryonic sermons are growing as Holy Spirit hovers, incubates and matures them to become the future they declared. “Most of us want full grown prophecies and promises - instantly. If this doesn’t occur, we begin to doubt and waver. But we must understand the responsibility of growing these ‘embryonic sermons’ to full term. Just as there is a span of time between an embryo and a child or a child and an adult, the same is true in spirit-conceived promises and prophecies. Our faith must remain strong through those times. “Psalm 103:20 tells us that angels listen to what we decree, and the Ekklesia has been declaring consistently, ‘No more delay.’ Because of this, supernatural things are beginning to happen. Four years ago, the Lord told me there would now come a new Pentecost, and everything in His kingdom would begin to accelerate. It is amazing how delays have been dealt with since that word was given. “I believe that in the past several years there has been more angelic activity on earth than ever before. Our prayers have enabled Holy Spirit and His angels to overturn delays. Many spirit-conceived dreams, visions, revelations, and prophecies are now reaching full term. Everything in Christ’s kingdom is accelerating, just as He said they would. Supernatural shifts are occurring. A megamove of God’s Holy Spirit is now at full term. “The greatest push ever in the kingdom of God is now being resourced by Holy Spirit. Prodigals are coming home. We are pregnant with miracles. We’ve carried them; now we are ‘showing.’ They are being birthed into the earth realm. We’re pregnant with healings and outpourings of Holy Spirit. We are carrying the river of living water. We are carrying governmental authority to disciple nations and power from heaven to pull down demonic strongholds. Demon princes will lose their thrones, captives will be delivered. “Hear the word of the Lord for this year: ‘There are embryos we have fed and watered which have now grown. These embryos are at full term. What we have conceived, believed and fought for is now mature, ready for harvesting. Reap! What you have conceived by Holy Spirit’s hovering presence, will now be seen in the earth realm. We have stepped into accelerated times of birthing what we’ve been carrying. No more delay!’ “Refuse to give up on what God said. Keep standing, believing and decreeing His promises.” Pray with me: “Lord, we agree with this word. We thank You for those who have faithfully carried what You conceived inside of them. We believe this is the birthing year, the year when it accelerates. Dreams and visions in the hearts of individual heirs are now showing. Nothing is impossible for You, Lord. We know You can do all we have asked. You have not only caused us to conceive, but You have empowered us. We decree that it is now calving season. “Thank You, Lord, for the faithfulness of those who have tenaciously stood for what You told them. ‘Embryonic sermons’ are coming to full term. To You be all the glory, all the honor. Activate this word across the United States and in other nations. We decree that Holy Spirit has shifted the times and seasons; this is a year of acceleration. What we’ve been carrying, both individually and corporately, will now manifest into the earth realm. In Jesus’ name we pray this, amen!” Our Decree: “We decree that we will now birth into the natural realm what we have been carrying in the spirit. 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/january-17-2022 January 17, 2022 God Always Uses A Remnant I spent all last week unpacking a dream given to Greg Hood about the spiritual war for America. In the dream, a principality named Zephon (one of Baal’s names) was identified as the leader of the fight to destroy America. He lost the battle and his hold was permanently broken off of America. I realize the hesitancy of some believers to acknowledge the role that invisible, demonic forces play in the earth. Mention spiritual warfare and they check out. Spiritual warfare, however, is the story of the scriptures - satan and his cohorts attempting to rule the human race and planet earth. These forces are real. And though Christ removed their authority over us at the Cross, this victory does not automatically manifest for us. We must exercise our delegated authority from Christ and enforce His victory. In the same way that Christ’s victory at Calvary isn’t automatic for us, neither are the promises, prophecies or dreams Holy Spirit gives us. This often brings confusion to believers, even causing disillusionment to some regarding the prophetic. But if the promises of Scripture, as sacred and fail-proof as the Word of God is, are not automatic or guaranteed regardless of our actions, certainly prophecies would not be. God’s promises, regardless of how they are delivered, are offers - not guarantees. Faith plays a role (James 1:6-8), as does obedience (Isaiah 1:19), perseverance (Hebrews 6:12), following Holy Spirit’s strategy or instruction (2 Kings 5:13-14; John 9:6-7), and other principles. This is why I take the time to break down dreams given to us, even sometimes teaching on the instructions in them. We must remember that God‘s promises are NOT guarantees and that His provision will NOT automatically come our way. When Holy Spirit shows us in a dream that Baal’s hold over America is ending, He is showing us what can happen, what He is offering, and what we must do to receive it. Let’s look briefly at Baal’s hold on America. We must understand that sin gives satan the right to operate in our lives and God-assigned spheres of authority. When a person or people (a nation) “give place to” the devil (Ephesians 4:27) through perversion, shedding innocent blood, idolatry, covenant-breaking, and other sins, legal access is given to him. Even the very land we occupy can be defiled through these actions, giving satan a legal right to rule and control a territory and its people until the sin is cleansed (Numbers 35:33; Leviticus 18:24-28). This is why we are told in the above Ephesians scripture to give no “place” to him. In this verse, “place” is the Greek word topos, from which we get topography. It can be a physical piece of land, but also has other meanings. Interestingly, it is also a scabbard, a “place” to hang a sword or rifle. Figuratively, it means “opportunity.” This verse is telling us our actions can give ground to satan, a place to hang his sword, a legal opportunity for him to steal, kill and destroy. This has happened in America. Through our sins, we have given place to the devil and his demons. Many leaders believe that in America, Baal is the principality in charge of overseeing satan‘s destructive activity. As the strongman over America (see Matthew 12:29), he is behind much of the evil in our nation, including the shedding of innocent blood (abortion and murder). Most biblical teachers attribute the spirit over abortion to be Molech, which is true, but Molech serves under Baal. Baal always wars against the young generation, trying to stop the extension/extending of God’s covenantal purposes to the next generation. He is a violent spirit and throughout history has always required human sacrifice. Not only is abortion under Baal’s influence, but he is also behind the “cutting” of today’s generation (see 1 Kings 18:28), the vampire and goth movement, and the death culture in general that has so invaded America. Jezebel, the spirit behind so much immorality and sexual perversion in America, is also under Baal. Baal is the spirit influencing the plethora of divorce and covenant breaking. He is sometimes called Baal-berith, which means “the lord of the covenant.” Ironically, the Hebrew word baal actually means “husband” or “marriage.” This doesn’t mean he honors true marriage; it means he wants people “married” or in covenant with him. The spirit of Baal always attempted to cause Israel to “divorce” or break covenant with God, and “marry” or align with him. Baal was behind the Supreme Court of America’s decision to redefine marriage, perverting God’s definition of it. America, just as Israel did on occasion, has broken covenant with Yahweh and “married” Baal. Elijah‘s challenge to Israel in 1 Kings 18:21 is appropriate for America: “How long will you limp between two opinions? If Yahweh is God, follow him; but if Baal, follow him.” On another occasion God said to Israel, the day will come when “you will call Me Husband, and will no longer call me Baal… for I will remove the names of the Baals from [your] mouth… and I will betroth you to Me forever,” (Hosea 2:16, 17,19). We should not be discouraged by Holy Spirit sharing with us regarding Baal-zephon’s activity in America. On the contrary, the Scriptures make clear that this vicious spirit’s control over America can end. And that is exactly what Greg’s dream from last week says. There has been much repentance over our national sins by a remnant of Americans. Hear this: God does not require an entire nation to repent before He can forgive and heal. He has always been willing to work through a remnant. That is, in fact, the premise behind intercession - a person or group of people “standing in the gap” (Ezekiel 22:30) for others. We must take our stand now, continuing to ask for cleansing and deliverance for America. The dream last week said we were winning - and we are! As we persevered, Zephon and his cohorts were taken out. I say to you unequivocally: if the praying church perseveres in our intercession, AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED! Pray with me: Father, thank You for Your mercy. Many times over the last several years You have told prophets and intercessors You want to grant mercy to America. Your redemptive heart is amazing and triumphs over judgment. The blood of Jesus is still greater than our sins. We call upon this cleansing power now to deliver and heal America. We place our faith in nothing but the blood of Jesus. In His name, we ask that all influence of the spirit of Baal be broken over America. We bind his hold, according to Matthew 16:18-19, and break this influence off of our children, homes, government, education system, the church, and every other system he has infiltrated. Restore us to our purpose and destiny. Send revival to America! I apologize for making you listen to the likes of Chuck Pierce, Tim Sheets and the others who filled in for me. It’s hard to find good help these days. All kidding aside, thanks to all of them for jumping in and doing such a great job with the 15’s. And thanks to you for being part of the prayer army Holy Spirit is raising up in this hour. I was just informed by my staff that when totaling all of our platforms, GH15 had 35 million views in 2021. I am humbled and blessed beyond words. There are a number of other wonderful ministries doing a great job of mobilizing prayer. We love and honor them all. Together, we are accomplishing the purposes of God in the earth. And never has there been a more critical time for this. The powers of darkness are being pushed back and the harvest of the ages is being birthed. This is the year we break through completely into the fulness of time Holy Spirit has created. 2022 will be significant beyond words. And as I stated last Monday (1/3/2022), the first quarter is critical. By the grace and anointing of Holy Spirit, we will not falter or fail. We have become the Ekklesia the gates of hell cannot overcome. Today and throughout the week, I’ll be unpacking a dream given to my friend, Greg Hood. It is FILLED with revelation, and is very encouraging, challenging and important. I intend to go a little deeper than usual in interpreting this dream, explaining and teaching the points of meaning and application. I’m doing so because I want these posts to not only mention prayer needs but to also serve as teaching and equipping tools. Here is the first part of the dream: “On January 2, 2022, I dreamed that the team of intercessors who worked with Dutch during the 2020 elections, along with several other leaders, were part of a baseball team. We were playing a game on our home field, named Royal Stadium, located in Washington, D.C. All the seats in the stadium were filled with people, mostly Americans. A smaller portion of the people were from somewhere I had never heard of. We were playing in The World Seers Series. “Dutch and I coached our team. This was the final game in the series and we were ahead. It was our turn to bat. Dutch, the Head Coach, wrote out a new batting order and hung it in our dugout for the team to see. The atmosphere in the dugout changed somewhat, with some players thinking the old batting order was better than the order Dutch had rewritten. “We had home-field advantage. It was the bottom of the 8th inning and we were winning. The scoreboard displayed the score of 20 for the opposing team and 22 for our team. I could see clearly on the scoreboard our team name - Kingdom Ekklesia. I could not make out the name of the opposing team; theirs was very blurry. “The mood shifted in our dugout as our team made an effort to encourage one another. We knew we were in the last innings of this final game and the game was tight. We took nothing for granted now, focussing intensely. We were the underdog, it seemed, and there was great urgency to win this game for the nation…” My Interpretation I feel that even the date this dream was received, January 2, 2022, is significant. I believe it points to Isaiah 22:22: “Then I will put the key of the house of David on his shoulder; When he opens, no one will shut, When he shuts, no one will open” (NASB). God has used this verse more than any other in my life for 25 years. It is a prophetic reference to Christ’s authority, spoken about Him again in Revelation 3:7. He has now delegated this governmental authority to open and close, bind and loose, to the church (Matthew 16:18-19). This dream is about the church’s authority! Our team’s name, Kingdom Ekklesia, playing in Royal Stadium, obviously confirms this. Ekklesia, the Greek word for “church,” referred to governing bodies - not congregations - in Christ’s day (I taught on the Ekklesia in a previous post dated 4/13/21. You can read it here.) “Royal” speaks of kingly authority. These 2 names clearly point to the praying church exercising its governmental, kingly authority. The city, Washington D.C., and the American’s watching the game indicates the contest/battle is over the U.S. government and the destiny of America. And finally, the name of the event is The World Seer Series, indicating that the battle will be won, at least in part, by those who correctly discern the times and seize the opportunity. The prophetic anointing - discerning and hearing the strategies of Holy Spirit - will be required to win this battle. I’ll say more about this momentarily. A new batting “order” was posted, representing a new strategy. I have referenced the Melchizedek “order” of priesthood, established by Christ, in a previous post from April 14, 2021 (click here to read), so I won’t take much time today doing so. The key point for this dream is that this order is a “royal priesthood” (1 Peter 2:9), which includes both priestly and kingly intercession. Priestly prayer involves petitions offered upward to heaven, representing the needs of humans to God; kingly prayer releases the authority of Christ downward to earth from our spiritual position with Christ, seated at the Father’s right hand. This “royal” intercession is accomplished through decreeing the scriptures (Ephesians 6:17), binding and loosing the works of darkness (Matthew 16:18-19), and prophetic declarations (Job 22:28). In the dream, remember that we were the home team and our stadium was Royal Stadium. God is telling us that to win this battle for control of America, we must move in this new order, exercising our kingly authority as Christ’s Ekklesia. And we must listen very carefully to Holy Spirit - again, it is the World “Seer” Series. And though America was the setting of the series, it was about the “world.” Indeed, the battle we are now engaged in is regarding worldwide harvest. Team Kingdom Ekklesia was led by Greg Hood and me. Obviously, this does not suggest that we are the dominant leaders in the church or in our movement. In the dream, we simply represent the apostolic and prophetic gifts and anointings of Christ in the church (Ephesians 4:11-12). For those not familiar with these giftings, don’t think of them as titles and positions. Just as with evangelism, pastoral care and teaching, they are anointings and functions of Christ, given to the church in order to adequately represent Him. Think of the apostolic gift as a governing and overseeing anointing, and the prophetic gift as a seeing, discerning, and hearing anointing. In the dream, the leadership provided by the apostolic and prophetic anointings is indicating that these two gifts of Christ to the church, which have been restored to the body of Christ over the last 3-4 decades, will now take on their appropriate role of leadership in the church, along with evangelists, pastors and teachers. This in no way diminishes the role of the other 3; it simply adds the function of apostles and prophets, enabling the church to fully reveal and represent Christ in the earth. Obviously, I could have skipped over this part of the dream for the sake of eliminating controversy, and we could still have prayed regarding the dream’s message. However, I have included it as a teaching point to help us understand the need for all of Christ’s gifts if we are to win this spiritual war. Finally, the score was 20 to 22; I believe this represents the new year, 2022. We have entered the year that will decide who wins the war over our generations’ outpouring and harvest. God will ultimately win the battle, of course. But just as with Israel and their exodus from Egypt, we too can miss the opportunity to possess our promised inheritance. God would then have to raise up another generation to accomplish His purposes, just as He did in Israel. Notice that in the dream it was the 8th inning and there was a “great urgency” on us. We had become very focused at this point in the game. It was up to us, the Ekklesia, “to win this game for the nation.” No other entity or group can do this - the church MUST arise. What an important word for us. We must hear and respond well to this admonition. There should be a sense of urgency on us, the praying church at this time. This is our moment in history! We must seize the day! And I believe we will. We WILL rise up in this hour and possess the land. We WILL accomplish all that God intends for us to do. We WILL win this spiritual battle. In tomorrow’s post and throughout the week, we will look at the further insights Holy Spirit gives us in this dream. Pray with me: Father, as Walter Wink once said, “History belongs to the intercessors.” We thank You for bringing us to this pivotal point in history. We are honored to partner with You and Your incredible plan of redemption here on earth. Now, may the praying church clearly understand the truth of this statement - history does indeed belong to us. Only we, through Christ’s name and authority, have the ability to push back the powers of darkness on earth. Awaken the church to the strategic importance of this year. May a divine urgency come upon us. Reveal to Your leaders and intercessors that we are indeed in the 8th inning and victory will soon be ours if we persevere. Give revelation also of the new order, that we are not only priests, but royal priests. May the church function in this kingly order, representing You as Your Ekklesia. Bring apostles and prophets into the fullness of their assignment so that we can represent Christ fully on the earth. We ask all of this in Christ’s name. Amen. To help with this, I’ve asked some of the prophetic voices I draw from occasionally on the posts to fill in. If you listen regularly you’ll know the names, even if you haven’t seen their faces before, and you’ll be very blessed by these posts. Enjoy! And I’ll see you next week. The Battle Is Over the Voice We are living in a history-making hour in the earth. It is a time of great contending and yet a time of birthing revival, awakening, and reformation! I heard the Lord say He is taking His church out of Survival into Revival! Isaiah 60:1-3 promises us that in times of great darkness in the earth God will cause His glory to shine upon His people, initiating the greatest harvest the earth has ever seen. Revival is at hand! Yet, in Isaiah 37:3 Hezekiah declared, “for the children are come to birth and there is no strength to bring forth.” This prophecy was given to King Hezekiah, a righteous king who was a reformer of a nation, turning Judah back to God. He was faithful to the Lord, yet his city, Jerusalem, had become besieged by the King of Assyria, Sennacherib, and was faced with certain destruction if God didn’t intervene. (Much as we face in America today.) Sennacherib was one of the cruelest conquerors in history, leaving terror in his wake of destruction. It is about him that Isaiah wrote, as a prophetic word of encouragement, “no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against you in judgment you shall condemn” (Isaiah 54:17). The Rabshakeh Assignment In my book, “Declarations for Breakthrough” I relate a dream I had in which a spiritual assignment was sent against a godly leader and reformer. The enemy’s name was Rabshakeh and he was coming to spread poison on the back of the leader and then take a rod and beat his back, driving the poison in until this reformer broke. The back represents the place of a man’s strength. The back was where Jesus was beaten so that we can receive our healing. In the dream, the enemy wanted to beat him down, afflict him with poison and destroy him. But before Rabshakeh could complete his mission of destruction, we alerted the authorities who captured him. They then led us out and put the enemy’s rod in our hands to beat his back instead! What does this dream have to do with the story of the besiegement of Jerusalem? It turns out that Rabshakeh was also the name of the emissary of Sennacherib, his mouthpiece, sent to demoralize God’s people with his words, trying to get them to give up, lay down their weapons and surrender the city. He tried to convince Hezekiah and his leaders that God had forsaken them and would not save them. Rabshakeh’s name means “chief prince,” and represents a demonic assignment against believers, leaders, and even nations today. He was the voice of Sennacherib, or if you will, the voice of the devil. He sought to get into the minds of God’s people, tried to define the narrative, beating them down by relentlessly filling the atmosphere with lies. Rabshakeh’s voice filled the air with accusations against who God is, against the leaders and about the impossibility of their situation. He was spreading poison through the sound of his voice and trying to get in their heads so that they would be worn down and give up. Don’t let the enemy get in your head! There is a relentless demonic voice that is trying to talk believers out of their divine assignments. The voice of the enemy will try to convince you that all your prayers and decrees have been for nothing and that in the end, God will not do what He said. The voice of the enemy will try to wear you down with accusations, intimidations & frustrations so that all your strength to birth revival and fulfill your calling is exhausted. Rather than being a nation changer, you seek only to survive. Is it possible to be pregnant with revival and not have strength to bring it forth? Is it possible to be pregnant with your miracle answer and it be aborted or stillborn because you give up or get so distracted with problems that you lose your focus or your faith in God? Is it possible to no longer have strength to stand for the destiny of your nation because of the mental exhaustion of contending? The Decade of Peh You see, we are living in the Hebraic year 5782... 80 is the Hebrew word “Peh” which means “mouth, speech or sound.” It represents the voice. During this decade the battle is over which voice is controlling the narrative, so it is imperative we listen for the voice of God. Psalms 29:4 declares, “the voice of the Lord is powerful.” His voice always brings victory! We must also be aware of what our own voices are saying. Are our words aligning with God’s voice? Likewise, we need to be alert to the enemy’s voice and his bombarding negativity, hopelessness, and fear. Every day we are assaulted by an antichrist barrage of words. The goal of cancel culture is to get believers, prayer warriors, and reformers to back down, break down and surrender. The battle over the voice is fueling the battle for our nation. In this tipping point moment in history, God’s ekklesia must unite to stand against this demonic attack to see righteousness and justice once again established in our land by releasing our voice and God’s decree against all the lies of the enemy. Going From Besiegement to Breakthrough! But rather than let Rabshakeh and his poisonous words rob them of their land, Hezekiah set himself to seek the Lord and to pray. He encouraged his people with these faith filled words: Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles (2 Chronicles 32:7-8). The church would do well to allow these words to encourage us during these challenging times. Hezekiah laid the accusations of the enemy on the altar and lifted his voice to God in prayer. He also sent for Isaiah the prophet, to get a Word from God for the nation. This is the synergy that comes when godly government, prayer, and the prophetic anointing create a dynamic for breakthrough. Isaiah told Hezekiah the Lord had heard his prayers; He would defend the city and save their nation! He then released a prophetic word of breakthrough that sounded impossible, declaring God would fight for them. That night God sent one angel who wiped out 185,000 Assyrians! Rabshakeh and Sennacherib both returned to their own country, only to be killed by their own people. God fought for Judah! Dedicated prayer, powerful prophecy, and anointed decrees shifted the battle and brought heavenly intervention! Victory was manifested as God mobilized the angel armies to overthrow the enemy. As we position ourselves just as Hezekiah did, setting ourselves to seek the Lord, hear His voice, and put our trust in Him to fight for us, we will see every voice of the accuser struck down, every besiegement destroyed and everything stolen returned in abundance. Hezekiah’s name means “Jehovah is my strength.” In this time of contending, God will restore our strength physically, emotionally, and spiritually so we can fulfill our divine assignment. The Voice of the Lord Shatters the Enemy! If you recall at the end of my dream, the rod of punishment which the enemy, Rabshakeh sought to use against the leader was instead used on his own back! The Lord turned the evil the enemy meant against the reformer back on his own head! Isaiah also prophesied about this. His word is part of God’s battle strategy for us today in order to break out of the survival of besiegement, into revival for a new day: “The Voice of the Lord will shatter the Assyrian (your enemy), with His scepter He will strike him down. Every stroke the Lord lays on the back of the enemy with His punishing rod will be to the music of tambourines and harps as he fights him in battle with the blows of His arm!” (Isaiah 30:3; NIV) So rise up Reformers! Be strong, people of God! Seek the Lord and hear His voice. Shake off every chain of discouragement and fear, resist Rabshakeh’s voice from getting in your head, and the voice of the Lord will shatter your enemy! Pray with me: Lord, let Your voice be louder than the voice of the enemy, for Your words are life to me. I submit myself to You, I resist the enemy and he must flee. I evict every lie and draw upon Your supernatural strength to sustain me and give me victory in every battle. In Jesus’ name. Our decree: The voice of the Lord will shatter the enemy. 4 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/december-24-2021 December 24, 2021 *** O Holy Night *** Incarnate: “to embody in flesh; invest with a bodily form.” From the Latin word incarnāre “to make into flesh.” Have you ever wondered what was going through Christ’s mind before Holy Spirit transformed Him into a microscopic seed and carried Him to the womb of a young girl? He was about to become breakable. Did He wonder how it would feel to no longer be omnipresent? Omniscient? Omnipotent? Did He wonder how physical pain would feel? Hunger? Thirst? Weariness? Cold? Heartache? Loss? Christ knew He would have to: fight His way through a birth canal, be fed, be bathed, learn to crawl, develop balance and walking skills, form words, grow, gain knowledge. He would experience sleep, scrapes, blisters, callouses. He would enter the realm of time. He would bleed. One has to wonder if Jesus ever reconsidered the plan/process. Since He was “the Lamb slain” before we were even created (Revelation 13:8), I don’t suppose He did. Yet, just before Holy Spirit held Him and began the transformation, there must have been at least an emotional, “Here we go…I’m about to be human!” And then He was - there was no turning back. Numerous questions come to mind as I consider Christ’s humanness: As a child, when did the first awareness of who He was begin to set in? When did He first look up at a star filled sky and think, I made that. When did He first recall saying, “Let there be…” When did the calculus of our solar system begin creeping back into His memory? Did He ever have a nightmare? When did He stop asking Mary questions and start explaining things to her? Did His siblings wonder at His gifts, intellect? Who was His best friend growing up? What did His laugh sound like? What was His favorite color…food? Was there any food - which He, of course, created - that He didn’t like?! At what age did His carpentry skills begin superseding those of Joseph? Did they ever joke about it? How old was He when Joseph died? How did He deal with the pain? How did He react the first time He saw a serpent…or first observed cruelty, violence or greed? When He heard lightning, did He smile? (Luke 10.18) And when did the love that demanded His humanness - the passion for His eternal bride - begin welling up in His chest? As He fashioned wood in His carpenter shop, did He ever pause and gaze pensively toward a hill in Jerusalem? Did He wince when He drove nails? We will never truly understand the ramifications, intricacies and complexities of the incarnation. Merging the limitations of “humanness” with an infinite God simply can’t be computed by human brains. Indeed, Paul referenced Christ as God’s “indescribable gift” (2 Corinthians 9:15). But it is healthy to ponder it, nonetheless. We must, in fact. It is imperative that we consider the cost to Christ. It’s essential that we wonder at such love, marvel at the plan and stand in awe at its audacity. So this year on Christmas Day, take some time to think about it. Sing, or listen to, Silent Night, Away In A Manger, O Holy Night or your favorite Christmas carol and intently consider the words. Recapture the wonder. Read the story again in Luke’s gospel. Close your eyes and try to envision Mary’s angelic visitation. Put yourself in Joseph’s shoes - how hard would it be to believe Mary’s story? See the stars, the stable, the manger, the Christ-child. Then converse with Abba and Jesus. Thank them…for Christmas, yes, but also for the cross. The purpose of Christmas was the Cross. I leave you today with the lyrics of one of my most loved Christmas songs: O Holy Night. My favorite line is, “Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.” “O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of the dear Savior's birth! Long lay the world in sin and error pining, Till He appear'd and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn! Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices. Oh night divine, Oh night when Christ was born. Today’s is from one of my Bible College professors, who is now my spiritual father, Jim Hodges. Ceci and I love him and Jean dearly. I have written tomorrow’s Christmas Eve post. Jim’s is a great devotional on Christmas, coming at it from a biblical, theological perspective; mine considers what may have been in Christ’s thinking as He was about to become human. I will also share a link to a favorite Christmas video/song. I believe you will enjoy both posts. The Story of Christmas: Covenant and Conflict I. Conceptually Christmas began before the creation of the universe! There was a council meeting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. What was the subject of that meeting? According to Revelation 13:8, the discussion focused on the topic of redemption: “All who dwell on the earth will worship Him [the Beast], everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.” The margin in my NASB version renders the last portion of the verse this way: “‘slain from the foundation of the world.’” The Son of God, Who would come to earth as The Lamb of God, was slain in the mind of God in that council meeting! Peter, in his first epistle, echoes the same comments about Christ made by John in Revelation 13:8: “….knowing you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb, unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you…” (I Peter 1:18-20). Creation’s plan included redemption’s plan! In that council meeting of the Godhead, God the Son was chosen to become human and come to earth as the Lamb, to take away the sins of the world. The Scripture informs us that the Living Word, Christ, the Creator “became flesh,” (John 1:1-3,14). Jesus the Creator, Son of God, working with the Father and the Spirit in creating the universe, would also become the Son of man, the Redeemer of the world! Satan, of course, wanted to devour the child, Jesus, at His birth (see Revelation 12:4). The Christmas story in Matthew 2:13-18 documents the effort of the Roman Empire, working through king Herod, to destroy the Lamb. Herod had all the male babies two years old and younger in and around Bethlehem murdered. Herod had a record of killing any competitors for the throne. He even had his own sons murdered! Let me remind all of us - Christmas is pro-life! Satan, the enemy of humanity, is pro-death! II. The story of Christmas continues when Jesus is presented as a lamb in a manger in Bethlehem. Bethlehem means “house of bread.” It was here that Jesus, the Living Bread, came down from heaven to earth (see John 6:50-51). The Arabs defined the little town as the “house of meat.” We know from history that Bethlehem, located about two miles from Jerusalem, supplied the Temple sacrificial system with animals, especially lambs. Each day on the Temple Mount, two sacrifices were required, one in the morning and one in the evening. Lambs were used in these, plus thousands more at the annual Feast days. The shepherds in Bethlehem, providing these sacrificial lambs, had to carefully inspect each one during the “lambing” season. They were inspected shortly after birth, followed by wrapping each one in cloths to protect them from injuring themselves; lambs with defects and flaws were disqualified, and thus would not be transported to Jerusalem. In keeping with the symbolism, Jesus, the Lamb of God, was born in a stable, wrapped in strips of cloth, and placed in a manger - a feeding trough for animals. This was the sign the angels told the shepherds to look for to identify Him! (Luke 2:12). Thirty years later, Jesus’ cousin, John the Baptizer, introduced Him as “the Lamb of God!” (John 1:29). III. The Cross of Christ, where the Lamb of God’s blood was shed, continues the story of covenant and conflict. Jesus, the Son of God, was faithful to the covenant He had mutually made with the Father and the Holy Spirit in that pre-creation council meeting. He faithfully fulfilled that covenant by always doing what He saw His Father doing and by saying what He heard Father say. His life of perfect obedience led to His death at Calvary. This, of course, ushered in and established the New Covenant. The Conflict is revealed here when by His death and shed blood, Christ disarmed evil princes and powers (see Colossians 2:15). The Cross was the battleground where the “Seed of the woman” would legally and judicially conquer the “seed of the Serpent” (see Genesis 3:15). At a mountainside, outside the gates of Jerusalem, called the “place of the skull,” Messiah Jesus would suffer a partial wound in His heel, but simultaneously He would deliver a mortal blow to the head of Satan. Yes, Satan is still alive; but he is not well! IV. Jesus’ followers would walk in covenant and yet experience conflict with the representatives of the enemies of Christ and His Gospel. The primary enemies of the Gospel in the first century were apostate 1st century Judaism and the oppressive and tyrannical power of the Roman Empire. Another reference to this entity is “the throne-seat of Satan,” (see Revelation 2:13). The Roman Empire tolerated the worship of many gods. However, they insisted that the worship of their Caesar was primary. This was known as “the Emperor Cult.” The Romans believed their Caesar was divine. Caesar Augustus, who decreed a census be taken of all the inhabited earth for the purpose of taxation (Luke 2:1), was referred to by the Romans as “the son of God.” Julius Caesar before him also assumed deity powers. It’s more than ironic that the choice in the 21st century is the same as in the 1st century - Christ or Caesar! The modern term for Caesar is “Statism.” Statism is the foundational belief in Marxism, Progressivism, Leftism, and Globalism. Simply said: “the civil government is god and will take care of you from cradle to grave.” I remind us that the Lord our God ordained civil government (Romans 13:1-7), and therefore it is accountable to Him! And I leave you with good news found in Revelation 17:14: “These [all the enemies of Christ] will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” This overcoming happens now on the earth, not just in the post-resurrection eternal age! All 7 churches in the book of Revelation, chapters 2 and 3, are called to be overcomers! So are we, His Ekklesia, in the earth, at this time! As we walk in covenant with the Lord God and His people, we will experience victory in the conflicts of our time. Pray with me: Father in heaven, we thank You for sending Your Son: He announced Your Kingdom’s arrival, revealed You perfectly in His ministry, died as Your Lamb to take away the sins of the world, rose again to life, ascended to heaven to sit down at Your right hand to reign as King and Lord forever! Today, we renew our covenant with You, and we ask You to fill us again with Your Spirit Who equips us for life, service and victory in Your Kingdom agenda for the earth. His insights are important. “As the Dobbs case brought the macabre issue of abortion back to the forefront of the nation’s consciousness[1], I re-remembered my time as a student at Pepperdine Law School. I began my studies with the premise that all life is sacred and therefore knew that abortion was a grievous wrong. What I shockingly learned at law school was that the Supreme Court Justice who authored the Roe v. Wade case knew that his reasoning was also wrong according to the U.S. Constitution, but he wrote the fatal majority opinion anyway. “When I read Roe, and the cases that came before and after it, I always experienced righteous anger and cognitive dissonance. This is because the Justices were very smart lawyers at the pinnacle of their profession, but they were making very stupid abortion-related rulings based on nothing that resembled Constitutional law. In fact, Justice Blackmun admitted this in his Roe opinion when he stated, ‘The Constitution does not explicitly mention any right of privacy…however,…the Court has recognized that a right of personal privacy…does exist under the Constitution…in the penumbras of the Bill of Rights’ [2] “I didn’t know what a “penumbra” was but thought it must be something unbelievably profound and clearly convincing, since it was being used to create the right of privacy - the faulty foundation on which abortion was built. I found out that “penumbra” began as an astronomy term and was borrowed by the legal profession. It means, ‘a partial shade or obscurity on the margin of the perfect shade in an eclipse; or between the perfect shade, where the light is entirely intercepted, and the full light.’ [3] So basically, Justice Blackmun ‘discovered’ the right to privacy, which has enabled a mother to murder her child, in the darkness of a shadow emanating from the Bill of Rights. His ridiculous jurisprudence would be laughable if the consequences weren’t so tragic. “If law school taught me anything, it’s that intelligence does not automatically guarantee wisdom. They are different. In other words, even if someone is very smart, it doesn’t mean they possess moral clarity on the sacred issues of life and liberty. “And that’s exactly what we need to pray for the Justices to possess in this case – namely, the moral clarity and personal courage to overrule one of the most heinous and evil decisions in our country’s history. Below are a couple of insights that will encourage you to pray with endurance until the Dobbs case is formally decided. “1) First, the 1st week in December truly was an extremely important time for Dobbs as oral arguments were presented, and the 9 Justices met by themselves that Friday for a preliminary vote on their decision. However, this is not necessarily a final vote, as some believe. If the decision is close, then the Justices will lobby each other right up until this summer when the final written opinion is released with the force of law.[4] “There is a precedent for this happening before with landmark cases. For example, the Obamacare ruling seemed strange when it was released as Chief Justice Roberts’ legal reasoning was incoherent. Also, the minority opinion written by the four conservative Justices read like a majority opinion. Supreme Court experts were initially confused. “What came to light later is that John Roberts switched sides in May (mere weeks before the final written decision was released) despite a one-month campaign from Anthony Kennedy to stay with the conservatives on the right side of a 5-4 vote. Jan Crawford of CBS News reported, ‘I am told by two sources with specific knowledge of the court’s deliberations that Roberts initially sided with the conservatives in this case and was prepared to strike down…the individual mandate. But Roberts…changed his views, deciding instead to join with the liberals. There was a one-month campaign to bring Roberts back into the conservative fold, led, ironically, by Anthony Kennedy.’ [5] “The Dobbs case, like Obamacare, may go down to the wire. We must pray without ceasing until the final written opinion is released in June or July, 2022. Anything can happen in the next several months. “2) Second, and in my opinion most importantly, we must pray for who is assigned to write the opinion. If Chief Justice Roberts is in the majority, then he will decide who writes it. His previous written opinions have shown him to be highly concerned with the legal doctrine of stare decisis et non quieta movere, which is Latin for ‘to stand by things decided, and not to disturb settled points.’ [6] Because of stare decisis, Roberts may be unwilling to completely overturn Roe and his opinion could take an incrementalistic ‘middle-ground’ approach. “Therefore, while this may seem counter-intuitive, it could be better to have a 5-4 win without Roberts than a 6-3 win with him. If a 5-4 win happens, then Justice Clarence Thomas will decide who writes the opinion. He may write it himself (which would be great, as he possesses moral clarity) or assign it to another Justice in the conservative majority. Wouldn’t it be amazing if he selected Justice Amy Coney Barrett, a mother with adopted children, to write the opinion that finally overturns almost 50 years of abortion! “The late Justice Antonin Scalia, who was a stalwart conservative and Constitutional originalist,[7] would write scathing minority opinions in any abortion related cases that came to the Supreme Court after Roe. In 1992’s Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey, he wrote: ‘…the Court merely prolongs and intensifies the anguish. We should get out of this area, where we have no right to be, and where we do neither ourselves nor the country any good by remaining.’ [8] “The entire dissenting opinion by Justice Scalia in Casey displayed his brilliance and prescience 30 years ago. Let’s pray together that he is finally proven right, and a favorable ruling in Dobbs is the beginning of the end to our national anguish over abortion.” Pray with me: [9] Heavenly Father, we thank You that the Supreme Court has granted a hearing for the Dobbs case. We appeal to You, the Supreme Judge of all the earth, to safeguard life in America. Please completely overturn Roe v. Wade. We pray by name for Justices John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Stephen Breyer, Samuel Alito, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. May the Holy Spirit move in their hearts and minds so that they would rule on the side of life.[10 ]Break through any seared consciences and give them renewed moral clarity so that they can see right from wrong. We ask that the Justices would not be influenced by political pressure or perceived public opinion, but that they would be impartial in their judgment.[11] Father, we pray that the fear of You would be present as the Justices deliberate the case and negotiate with one another.[12] Please grant strength to the 5 conservatives to hold the line on life, regardless of Roberts’ influence. Give the entire 9 divine wisdom, the true wisdom from heaven, and empower them to be free from any confusion the enemy may cause.[13] Let them be clear-minded and free from distraction. Lord, we implore You to frustrate the pro-abortion activists’ and the media’s attempts to deceive the American public by labeling pro-life policy as extreme.[14] We also ask that You inspire pro-life advocates to continue their efforts to discover creative ways to tell the beautiful stories of choosing life. We pray that accurate information will be distributed to the public about how policies like Mississippi’s Gestational Age Act protects mothers and babies.[15] Let the Dobbs case mark the beginning of the end to our national anguish over abortion. Jesus, I plead your blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America! [16] Our decree: We decree that Dobbs will completely overturn Roe v. Anyone who has spent a single day in law school knows that the Socratic method of instruction is used. This method is basically a litany of ongoing questions where, instead of presenting information for a student to regurgitate on a test as in college, the law professor asks probing questions of the student to have them arrive at an epiphany of legal reasoning. Oftentimes during the Socratic method, the law professor will play “devil’s advocate” by asking misleading questions to test the knowledge of the student. All the Justices are graduates of elite law schools and have been trained by the Socratic method. There have been many cases in the past where questions asked during oral argument bear no indication of the way the court will rule. One seemingly simple legal nuance that didn’t come up in oral arguments can radically alter the final written opinion. While I have high hopes that Dobbs is indeed the moment that the pro-life prayer movement has been leading up to for 50 years, we should not think that the hard work of intercessory prayer is complete. 6 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/december-15-2021 December 15, 2021 The Key to Victory As we pray together and partake of communion regarding the nation, I want to share parts of a dream with you which I believe is timely and pertinent. It was actually given to our friend Gina Gholston on December 5, the day the recent 21 days of prayer and communion began. The dream contains another Isaiah 40 reference. (I have received 8 or more dreams within the last several months with Isaiah 40 references. The chapter is about John the Baptist preparing the way for Christ and then Christ’s earthly ministry.) The dream also refers to breaking bread and eating it, which of course, we are part of the 21-day strategy. And finally, the dream references the song, The Battle Hymn of the Republic. On back-to-back days, this song was brought to my attention: once in a public service, the other through this dream. It was written and sung by soldiers during the Civil War, and speaks of the Lord’s victory. Gina says: “December 5, 2021, I dreamed that Dutch Sheets, his wife, Ceci, and I were in a very old, two-story warehouse type building. It sat on the edge of a river, and on the first floor there was a working grist mill, with a large water-wheel being turned by the flow of the river. This mill was being used to process flour for a bakery operating on the top floor of the building. “In the bakery, there were various workstations situated around the open room. At each station, there was an oven, a sink, long counters, and shelves filled with baking utensils, multiple baking pans, and baking sheet pans. Each station contained a lady baking breads, cakes, and pastries. “As we entered the bakery, each was standing beside the counter at their individual station, with a display of some of their baked goods. There was another individual with Dutch, Ceci, and me as we walked from station to station. We were there to ‘choose’ an item we needed from this bakery. We knew the individual walking with us was an angel, there to guide and help us choose the correct item. “We had visited many of the stations in the room, greeting each lady and complimenting her work. As we stood at one counter, the baker was holding a small, single-layer cake as if to present it to Dutch. It was a small, simple cake with no decorations, just icing on top. The angel behind Dutch placed its hand on Dutch’s right elbow, and pushed his arm forward to receive this little cake. The angel said, ‘Take and eat.’ So, Dutch received the cake and the angel instructed him to ‘break the cake first,’ then eat it. “Dutch, using both of his hands, broke the cake open, and found that a small key had been baked inside it. We looked at each other in amazement, and Dutch held up the key. We could see that inscribed on it was ‘Isaiah 40:5.’ The angel then said to Dutch, ‘There’s another door that must be opened.’ “Dutch asked, ‘How will I know where the door is located?’ “All the angel said was, ‘It’s American made.’ “When the angel said that, music began playing. I don’t know where it was coming from, but it began filling the room. As the music played, Dutch fell to his knees and began singing the words of the song playing: ‘Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord…’ It was the Battle Hymn of the Republic, and he sang the entire song with tears streaming down his face. It was as if electricity was going through the room as we felt the presence of the Lord. “After singing the entire song, Dutch stopped singing, but the music continued to play in the background. “The angel then instructed Dutch to eat the small cake that was still in his right hand. He ate the cake and said, ‘Wow! This is RICH with honey!’ Then his eyes just lit up, and we knew Dutch had received immediate strength. “The angel said, ‘This will keep you strong for the journey ahead.’ “Dutch was still holding the key that had been inside the cake. The angel pointed to it and said, ‘You will know what to do with the key.’ “The music was still playing, and at this point, Dutch again began singing the words of the song.” End of dream. *************************** The song, Battle Hymn of the Republic, obviously speaks of battle/war, but also to the Lord’s victory. Isaiah 40 references both, as well, the victory beginning in verse 5 with the Lord’s appearance: “Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” (NASV). Just as He did many Christmases ago, Christ will once again come to a troubled and tumultuous world; and also just as He did then, He will prevail. His glory will be released and salvation will come to many. The appearance of the key in the dream, with this reference Isaiah 40:5 written on it - discovered in the breaking of the bread - says several things to us. Christ WILL be revealed again in our day! (Isaiah 40:5) I am referencing the coming revival, not the Second Coming of Christ. Christ being revealed is the “key” to victory. This key will be found/given through our honoring of covenant with Christ (the breaking of the bread). It is important that we realize we must fulfill the preparatory role John fulfilled in Isaiah 40. We are Christ’s forerunners, preparing the way. Our repentance, prayers and honoring of covenant with Him are all ways in which we do this. The covenant meal - communion - which we are partaking of during this 21 days of prayer and which is pictured in the dream (“take and eat…break the cake first”), is accomplishing this. In the account of the resurrected Christ’s visit with the two men on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35), His true identity was eventually revealed to them in the breaking of the bread (verses 30-31). I believe Holy Spirit is saying that our prayers and honoring of covenant through the breaking of the bread are causing Isaiah 40:5 - Christ is being revealed - here and around the world. I also believe our honoring of covenant with Christ during this 21 days is more than a preparatory act of intercession, but is also giving us strength for future battles, as was spoken in the dream. Our warfare will not be finished after the 21 days. I know there is further revelation to come from this dream. But from just these insights we can glean encouragement that our prayers and communion during these 21 days are having an impact. Again, notice that the dream was given December 5, the day the 21 days began (read our GH15 post from December 8th). Take heart and continue to be faithful. Pray with me: Father, thank You for speaking to us prophetically, encouraging us to continue our prayer and communion efforts. We thank You for Christ, our victory. We thank You for Isaiah 40 and the incredible picture it brings us of our Deliverer, Christ. We thank You for our covenant with Him, both individually and as a nation. We honor this covenant as our key to victory. We pledge allegiance to You and Your purposes for America. We thank You in advance for delivering us from the great evil of abortion. Thank You for breaking our alliance with the principality, Baal, who demands blood sacrifices. Free us from this scourge and cleanse our land we pray, just as You cleansed us from slavery in the days of our Civil War. We also pray for those so devastated by the tornadoes in Kentucky, Arkansas, Illinois, Missouri, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Our hearts break for them. Please comfort those who have lost family members, and restore hope to those who have lost so much. May strength to face the future and rebuild be poured out on them, and may the nation rally to help those impacted. In Christ’s name we ask, Amen. Our decree: We decree that our faith stands on the blood of Christ and His new covenant with us, nothing else. I have been asked to teach some and lead in communion as we join the ministries of Lou Engle (TheBriefing.us) and Matt Lockett (JHOPDC.com) in prayer and communion regarding the current Supreme Court case. So, on Monday, have your bread and wine (or juice) ready when you read (or listen to) that day’s post. ________________________ Our friend Gina Gholston has felt the need to re-release a prophetic word she gave in 2018. I, too, feel it is a timely word for NOW. Gina shares: “Looking at the happenings in our world through the lens of natural understanding, we would undoubtedly conclude that a spiritual awakening is impossible. However, as the body of Christ, our worldview is not obstructed by the delusion, chaos, fog of fear and confusion hell has initiated. We see through the lens of God’s Word and His prophetic promises. “In 2018, I had a very significant dream that revealed God’s heart and intentions for the United States. Its message gave the Ekklesia hope and strategy for the future into which we were being ushered. I know that Dutch has shared this dream a few times, but with the events that have been unfolding in our nation, I felt the unction of Holy Spirit to revisit this revelation. “In the dream, I, along with two fellow intercessors and my mom and dad, was walking down Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC. I knew the Turnaround Conference at the Trump Hotel was just ending at that very moment. (This was an actual conference held at the Trump Hotel a couple of weeks after I had this dream. It was a gathering of national and international intercessors who had come to Washington, D.C. for the sole purpose of meeting with God and making an appeal to Him on behalf of the United States of America.) “In the dream, as we were on Pennsylvania Avenue, we turned and saw a courier angel coming outside through the doors of the Trump Hotel where the conference was just ending. This angel was carrying a fairly large scroll. His face was set toward the United States Capitol Building, and he was heading immediately in that direction. We decided to follow him and continued, even as he went into the Capitol. We then entered into the House Chamber, and the scene was exactly as it had been at the State of the Union address given by President Donald Trump just a few nights prior to this dream. All of the lawmakers were there in their seats, and there were many people in the gallery. It was a packed house. “The courier angel with the scroll was standing at double doors leading into the House Chamber, and he loudly announced with authority and confidence, ‘ALL RISE!’ And just as had happened at the previous State of the Union Address, some people stood, while others disrespectfully and very snidely stayed seated. “The angel then opened the scroll and said very loudly and adamantly, ‘The verdict has been determined: AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED!’ “Immediately a cloud, the glory of God, came from behind the angel and began filling the room. Those who had stood at his entrance were now crumpled to their knees, wailing, overcome by the reality of God’s presence. Two or three who had been seated before, were now on their knees, screaming out very loudly, ‘I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!’ while others remained seated. “I knew in that moment, judgment was beginning and God’s ruling authority was being set in place. Transformation and reformation to accomplish America’s new reality was set in motion: She shall be saved! “That was the end of the dream. “Though sometimes, of course, we pray during emergencies and crises, effectual, fervent prayer is not just a last-minute attempt to get God involved in our situations. It is prayer that flows from a heart of unwavering faith established by abiding in the Lord’s presence. As we draw near to Him in the place of His presence, we hear His Word, His will, and are provoked to speak and align ourselves in agreement with Him for that will to take place. “I think of Moses, as he was leading the people of Israel to possess the land God had promised. The promise was real and certain, yet obedience in following and trusting God was demanded as He led them into its fulfillment. While they journeyed, at times Moses would pitch a tent outside the camp. He called it ‘the tent of meeting.’ He would go there to seek the Lord, and God would meet with Him in the tent. “The Bible says God spoke to Moses ‘face to face, as one speaks to a friend’ (Exodus 33:11 NIV). Moses sought the Lord, and by doing so heard the strategies of Heaven, enabling him to lead the people. It was in one of those ‘meetings’ that God assured Moses His presence would go with them and He would give them rest. God sealed this assurance with a promise, saying: ‘I will do this thing . . . for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name’ (Exodus 33:17 NKJV). “For those few days in February of 2018 in Washington, D.C., the Trump Hotel served as a “tent of meeting,” as thousands of people, both in person and via the Internet, encountered God as they made fervent appeals to Heaven on behalf of the United States of America. The dream given to me revealed that those prayers set things into motion. God heard the faith-filled agreement that flowed from the sincere hearts of those intercessors, and His response to their appeal was a verdict that still rings true for our nation today: “America shall be saved!” This is not a cute catchphrase; this is a verdict rendered by God Himself, and it is a promise that will be fulfilled by the God Who made it! God has spoken, and He has sealed it with the promise, ‘I will do this thing!’ “History provides multiple examples of God shaking nations that seemed unshakable and changed world events that seemed unchangeable. God has always had a people who believe Him. And as they humbled themselves and walked with Him in cooperation with His Spirit, God has time and again shown Himself strong through them, in spite of hell’s attempts to stop or hinder His plan. The Lord recently said to me, ‘I have remembered My promises, and that which I have spoken will now begin to bring forth the harvest of My intentions.’ “God has not forgotten His verdict! He speaks with intent to perform. Regardless of how things appear, the truth remains: ‘America will be saved!’ Do not doubt it! Keep standing with unshaken confidence. God is with us, His Spirit will lead us triumphantly, and through us, He will fulfill His determined intentions.” Pray with me: Father, we set ourselves in agreement with Your determined verdict. We rise with an unshaken resolve to move with You and for You to see Your will happen in our nation! We declare the downfall and annihilation of every scheme and plot of hell to change laws and times throwing this nation off its God-ordained course and destiny! (see Daniel 4:25) You have determined and declared that America shall be saved, and we declare that verdict with undaunted faith and expectation. You will watch over Your Word to perform the doing of it! (Jeremiah 1:12) And as we pray in agreement with Your word, Lord, regarding the saving of America, we remember to pray for the babies. We stand in agreement that Roe will be overturned and that satan will not steal this decision. We ask You, Holy Spirit, to continually hover over the Supreme Court, guarding the hearts and minds of the conservative Justices. And we ask that Justice Roberts either be pulled toward reversing Roe v. Wade or that his counsel to sustain it will be unsuccessful. We ask these things in Christ’s name. Amen. Our decree: God’s verdict has been determined and set into motion; hell cannot stop what He has started! 5 min read https://www.givehim15.com/post/december-7-2021 December 7, 2021 Last Week’s Supreme Court Case Thank you all for being part of the prayer army God is raising up in the earth. Of course, we must do more than pray, but prayer feeds everything else. As part of that army, I was in Washington, D.C. all last week praying with others. This is my first post since returning from DC. Yesterday’s post had to be written well in advance in order for my staff to not have to work the weekend. (Monday’s posts must be completed by the end of Friday’s workday.) The week was a mix of emotions for me. I have given much of my life to see America turn back to God and recapture her destiny. A huge part of this turning will be the reversal of Roe v Wade. As I walked for hours around the Supreme Court praying, I had time for much reflection: the wins and losses, victories and defeats; countless attempts to motivate and energize what - at times - has been a non-praying and self-focused church (by no means the only one doing so); watching the prayer and prophetic movements used by Holy Spirit to change this, and seeing the tide slowly turn. As I prayed and pondered, I couldn’t help but think we had come to a Mount Carmel moment (see 1 Kings 18). Mount Carmel was the place of Elijah’s confrontation with the Baal structure, led by wicked Queen Jezebel and her weak, enabling husband, King Ahab. The real power structures at play were spiritual, one being the principality behind the god named Baal, and the principality working under him, known as Jezebel. (Revelation 2:20 makes it clear that Jezebel was/is actually a spirit, whom Holy Spirit identified by giving it the name of Queen Jezebel). The other power at work was Yahweh, the Most High and Almighty God. No contest. The issue was never who the true and living God was - Baal or Yahweh. The issue was the need for Yahweh to bring repentance in order to cleanse and realign Israel. Ultimately God doesn’t work around us humans; He works with and through us. And a part of that is the cleansing of our hearts, as well as the land we defile. All of this takes time, sometimes decades, as pain leads to desperation, which produces open-mindedness, which allows revelation and repentance to be generated. Israel had experienced this process by the time of 1 Kings 18. I believe at least a remnant of the Church is at this place now. As I walked around the Court, I found myself praying: Lord, tear down this temple of Baal. I wasn’t referring to the literal building, of course. I was referring to the evil system of control over America, led by a principality, who is empowered by the shedding of innocent blood. This Baal structure has done much to remove God’s influence in and over America through evil laws and rulings. The most shameful, sickening, and abominable of all Baal instigated rulings were Roe and Casey, the decisions that legalized and upheld the torture and murder of babies in the womb. As I stated, I believe last week was our Mt. Carmel showdown. On that mountain, Baal failed, God prevailed, Israel repented, and a new era began. Now for a warning. Jezebel’s reign did not end for another 12-13 years, giving her - and the spirit behind her - time to partially regain her hold. Why? Elijah grew weary and discouraged in the ensuing days and didn’t finish the job of removing her. God raised up Elisha and Jehu to finish the job, which they did 12 years later. For us today the lesson is clear. We must not back off; we must finish this. I learned on this trip to DC that just because the Justices met to vote on Friday (December 3), the case is not yet settled. It will not become a legal ruling/law until it is announced, probably next summer, and any Justice can change his or her vote at any time between now and then. Much pressure is often placed on Justices to do so by their colleagues on the bench. Many believe this actually happened with Kennedy in the Casey case, and with Roberts in the Obamacare ruling. In other words, we could have won Friday’s vote yet lose the case in June, or whenever the final verdict is rendered. We must not let this happen! There are many who believe, based on the questions at the hearing, that 5 Justices (Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett) were signaling a willingness to overturn Roe. They believe that Roberts was signaling a willingness to give Mississippi a win by changing the viability time to 15 weeks, meaning they would be able to make abortion illegal after that point of the pregnancy, but not overturn Roe. Nothing is guaranteed - these are educated guesses. However, if it is true, they believe Roberts will be pressuring either Kavanaugh or Barrett to change their vote so Roe will not be fully overturned. I’ve already heard of one prophetic warning that this was occurring. We would accept the 15-week ruling as a partial victory - it would stop many, many abortions - but what we really want is Roe to be reversed. I will be posting much over the coming months to generate continued prayer regarding this. We must not let up! Pray with me: Father, thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for remembering mercy in what has had to be, at times, great wrath (Habakkuk 3:2). We have asked many times for Your forgiveness and cleansing regarding abortion, and for empowering Baal to rule America. We believe You have done so. Now, we ask that You break the back of this stronghold. Tear down the temple of Baal, the ruling structure of this principality which has operated through our Supreme Court. Dismantle it. Destroy it. Give us a righteous Court, a Court that knows and honors its legal limits, and a Constitutionalist Court, which would also be a Court that honors You. And give us victory in this case. Do not allow any judge who voted for the overturn of Roe v Wade to be swayed. Move them even farther toward life! If Justice Roberts is, indeed, against overturning it, show him his error. Change his mind. Give him a dream, a word he can’t ignore from another Justice, anything You see fit to do to turn him toward life. End this heinous scourge in America, we pray. In Christ’s name, Amen. Our decree: We, the Ekklesia of Jesus Christ in America, decree that Roe will be overturned, and that Baal’s hold on America is ending. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father's role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts -- a child -- as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters. And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign."(1) (Mother Teresa) As we pray today regarding the Supreme Court Justices’ votes which will occur today, let’s ponder what some great leaders have said about abortion. The above poignant quote from the late Mother Teresa, one of the great humanitarians of our time, rightly says that Roe Vs. Wade “deformed” America. In 1983, the great Ronald Reagan in his profound article, “Abortion and the Conscience of the Nation,” stated: “Our nationwide policy of abortion-on-demand through all nine months of pregnancy was neither voted for by our people nor enacted by our legislators - not a single state had such unrestricted abortion before the Supreme Court decreed it to be national policy in 1973... “Make no mistake, abortion-on-demand is not a right granted by the Constitution. No serious scholar, including one disposed to agree with the Court’s result, has argued that the framers of the Constitution intended to create such a right... Nowhere do the plain words of the Constitution even hint at a ‘right’ so sweeping as to permit abortion up to the time the child is ready to be born. Yet that is what the Court ruled.”(2) Reagan’s entire article is worth reading; you can find it easily online. Such an easy, simple decision - no vote of the people, no legislative law, no Constitutional intent - with such profound results. One would think more Presidents, at least so-called pro-life conservatives, would have been more vocal regarding the decision. Only President Trump, the most pro-life President in history, has attended the annual pro-life rally in D.C. “Donald Trump became the first US president to attend America's largest annual anti-abortion rally. “He addressed thousands of protesters at the March for Life near the U.S. Capitol while his impeachment trial was ongoing. “President Trump said: ‘We're here for a very simple reason: to defend the right of every child, born and unborn, to fulfill their God-given potential.’ “The annual demonstration first began in 1974 - a year after the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion in Roe v Wade. “Until now no president had ever attended the march, which takes place just steps from the White House, though previous Republican presidents, including George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, have addressed the group remotely.”(3) Liberty University hosted Dr. Alveda King at Convocation Friday, Jan. 17, 2020, to discuss several topics. Her personal experiences make her comments even more meaningful. “The niece of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Alveda King, discussed her journey from having multiple abortions and voting as a Democrat for decades, to eventually being coined as ‘the Conservative King,’ and a pro-life figure. After her conversion to Christianity in 1983, she now firmly stands for the protection of people throughout their entire lives, starting at conception and ending at death, which is something she calls ‘womb to tomb.’ “‘What’s interesting is that my mom wanted to abort me in 1950 because she was a college student,’ Alveda King said. ‘Abortion was illegal, but this exploratory procedure is what she wanted.’ “According to Alveda King, her mother was persuaded by her grandfather to keep her baby after he described a dream he had several years prior, which described what the baby would look like. Alveda King claims this interaction to be a ‘prophetic ultrasound,’ though she did not link it to her pro-life stance until many years later. “‘I didn’t know then that I was born into the pro-life movement,’ Alveda King said. ‘God called me away from my liberal living. I had two abortions, a miscarriage, divorce, I was just living in the world. In 1983, God said that he wanted me to give my testimony. So I became a voice for life in 1983 when I was born-again, but I had been rescued in the womb, and I didn’t know it.’” (4) And finally, the late, and very esteemed Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia stated, after Planned Parenthood vs Casey in 1992: “The States may, if they wish, permit abortion on demand, but the Constitution does not require them to do so. The permissibility of abortion, and the limitations upon it, are to be resolved like most important questions in our democracy: by citizens trying to persuade one another and then voting… “Roe fanned into life an issue that has inflamed our national politics in general, and has obscured with its smoke the selection of Justices to this Court in particular, ever since. And by keeping us in the abortion umpiring business, it is the perpetuation of that disruption, rather than any pax Roeana, that the Court’s new majority decrees.”(5) Pax Roeana is a twist of the phrase “Pax Romana,” which means “Roman Peace” and refers to a roughly 200-year period of peace during Roman rule. His play on words is meant to emphasize the incredible turmoil the Court’s rulings on abortion have created. Later, in a 2010 speech at the University of Richmond, Justice Scalia stated his scorn for the inappropriate abuses of the Court: “But some of the liberties the Supreme Court has found to be protected by that word - liberty - nobody thought constituted a liberty when the 14th Amendment was adopted. Abortion? It was criminal in all states.”(6) Indeed..! Finally, God had something to say about life in the womb: “You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. I thank You, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything You do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly You know me, Lord! You even formed every bone in my body when You created (raqam - ‘to variegate colors; embroider; needlework; fabricate; to be skillfully wrought’) me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully You shaped me from nothing to something. You saw who You created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days You planned for me were already recorded in Your book. Every single moment You are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that You cherish me constantly in Your every thought! O God, Your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, You’re still with me.” (Psalm 139:13-17; TPT) Let’s pray that the Court gets it right today..! Pray with me: Father, You formed us in our mother’s womb, weaving us into the person You wanted and needed. You chose our purpose, and while we were being formed wove into us the gifts and abilities we would need to accomplish that purpose (Galatians 1:15). You filled John with Your Spirit while he was still in the womb (Luke 1:15). He leaped for joy in his mother’s womb when Mary, pregnant with Christ, entered the room (Luke 1:41). Fetuses that are not yet human beings are not filled with Your Spirit and don’t leap for joy. John was obviously already a person. Paul’s destiny and identity were shaped while still in his mother’s womb (Galatians 1:15). Forgive America, Father, for killing our children. Today, we join with the blood of 60 million babies, crying out to You for justice. Please end America’s covenant with death (Isaiah 28:15-18). Help us this day, Father, end the shedding of innocent blood in our land. Move on enough Supreme Court Justices to give life a victory today. [5 of the 9, a simple majority, must vote for life.] Peel back any veil blinding them to truth. Enable them to see through the maze of twisted and tangled legal arguments, the layers of what-ifs and wherefores. Show the insidiousness and lunacy of finding the right to kill babies in the word “privacy.” How simple this decision should be! The framers of the Constitution would be shocked and horrified at what we have done with their words. Awaken the conscience of our nation, and start with 5 Justices. In Jesus' Name we pray..! A demonic tide of destruction has been unleashed upon our nation and has taken ground at an increasingly rapid rate. Politically, economically, and humanistically there is an agenda to make America never again look the way God intended her to look. Yet, He has not given up on us. Yahweh still has a great plan and purpose for this nation and is calling on us to partner with Him in this critical hour. The book of Ezra shares of a time in Israel’s history which is a good picture of where we in America are today; it also speaks of God’s restoration. The Israelites began rebuilding the Temple after their sin had caused it to be destroyed. While they were hard at work, other people in the land - enemies of God - threatened and discouraged the people of Judah, causing them to be filled with a paralyzing fear. “Counselors” were also hired to lobby against the people of God to frustrate their strategy. All of this resulted in a 16-year delay in the rebuilding of the Temple, the place where God’s glory dwelled. In some ways, America currently finds herself in this sort of delay. After making significant advances toward America’s restoration during Trump’s term, many have allowed discouragement and fear to gain a foothold in their hearts. They’ve laid down their tools and folded their hands. Others have allowed themselves to become busy with religious activity, but do not challenge status quo systems aimed at shredding the moral fabric of our nation. As in the days of Ezra, “counselors” (see Ezra 4:5), known today as lobbyists, are diligently and strategically opposing God’s people, while advancing an antichrist agenda in every sector of society. This is a fulfillment of Psalm 2, which describes those who hate God and take counsel together, devising plans to contend against Him and His people. These lobbyists and leaders believe they’ve overthrown God’s rule in America and conquered His people; in their arrogance, they openly decree this. Notwithstanding, Psalm 2 describes several terrifying things God does in response. First, He laughs a mocking laugh of derision toward them. Then, He asserts that His Son will indeed rule the earth. Lastly, God warns that if they persist, He will brandish His rod of authority, breaking and shattering His opposition. The good news is clearly laid out there - in the end, God wins! We must not fear that if we resist the liberal government and leftish activists we might be harmed. Neither should we fear that we might go to jail, lose our government funding, tax-exempt status, or have our businesses shut down for speaking truth. Indeed, these things are already happening - some are already paying a high price to stand for righteousness - but we must not cower and live in fear. The only fear we must operate in is the fear of the Lord. Thankfully, the negative story from Ezra is only half the story. After a 16-year delay in rebuilding the Temple, God raised up a company of leaders who worked together to steer His people toward repentance and a resuming of the restoration. First, He raised up two prophets, Haggai and Zechariah, who boldly awakened the people to their true condition, yet also to God’s heart for them. The moment they responded in repentance, God began working on their behalf, frustrating the plans of the lobbyists and giving the people of Judah favor with the government. Everything they needed for the restoration of the Temple was provided! Then Yahweh gave them needed alliances. The most amazing part of the story is how the prophets (Haggai and Zechariah), the priesthood (Joshua), and civil government (Zerubbabel, the governor), worked together to lead the people into reformation. In response to their obedience and righteous partnership the Lord blessed Israel, decreeing that the glory of the latter house would be greater than the former (Haggai 2:9). Zechariah later prophesied to Zerubbabel telling him the mountain in front of him was going to be brought low and made a plain; not by might or power, but by Holy Spirit, Zerubbabel would tear it down with shouts of “grace, grace!” This is a picture of what God wants to do in America. He is forming powerful alliances in His kingdom today. Christian leaders are speaking out, the Ekklesia is praying, righteous leaders are being raised up in government, and the body of Christ is becoming active in many efforts to restore America. The Supreme Court case being voted on tomorrow (Friday, 12/3/2021) is an example: government leaders and righteous pro-life attorneys have worked together to bring the case before the Court. Some of the attorneys are supported by business leaders and other concerned Americans. Christians around the nation, as well as here in DC, are praying. My assignment, of course, is to motivate and coordinate prayer. I want to encourage you that “it still works!” A friend of mine was given a powerful dream several months back, in which George Washington made an appearance. The dream is worth mentioning here: “…Then the crowd became stone-cold silent. Out of the old house came George Washington. You could see the bullet holes in his coat - he was wearing his Revolutionary War uniform. Washington walked up to Dutch, took off his hat and handed the original Appeal To Heaven flag to him. Dutch unfurled the Flag, which was worn, tattered, and riddled with bullet holes. Washington looked at him and said, ‘It still works! You, sir, are making our appeal to heaven certain and America will be saved…’” Pray for America. Pray for the Church to arise. Pray for the babies’ protection. Pray for tomorrow’s vote at the Supreme Court. Pray that revival explodes in America and around the world! Pray that God purges our government of evil, and exalts righteous leaders. If the church continues to awaken from her slumber, heeds the voice of the prophets, and begins to partner with righteous government leaders, the Lord will make a way for our nation’s Biblical foundations to be restored, and for His glory to fill our land again. God’s desire is for us to see revival in our cities, our nation, and other nations of the earth. Don’t yield to discouragement and fear. Holy Spirit is calling forth an army of faithful followers who will not yield to discouragement, but will instead boldly push back the darkness (see Ephesians 6:12). Pray with me (as we pray here in D.C.): Father, the “rebuilding” has begun. America’s prophets are speaking, the royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9) is responding, and the Zerubbabel’s are arising. We ask for victory over unrighteous leaders, ungodly lobbyists and others that oppose You and Your plans for America. We boldly ask for such a great restoration that just as in Haggai’s day, a double-portion of Your glory will be seen in our land. We pray again today regarding tomorrow’s vote in the Supreme Court of America. We ask for You to involve Yourself. Anoint and favor pro-life Briefs being considered; oppose the death arguments. Influence the Justices greatly, especially those in the middle. May they feel Heaven’s weighty hand, hear its voice and experience its wisdom. Thy Kingdom, come! Thy will, be done! According to Your word in Matthew 16:18-19, using Your keys, we bind evil spirits' involvement and declare that the gates, government, and plans of hell will not prevail against the Kingdom of God. We do this in Christ’s name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that just as in Haggai’s day, the word of the Lord will be heard, the restoration will be completed, and the glory of Yahweh will cover America and all the earth. I have shared with you over the last few weeks about Mississippi’s Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health. This is the case that could reverse Roe v. Wade, Doe v. Bolton, and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. If this occurs, it will not end all abortion in America, but rather end the law that says it is legal in the entire nation. Thus, each individual state will have the right to decide what they allow. I am going to Washington, D.C., this week to worship and pray outside the Supreme Court. During a prayer over this trip by several leaders, my friend, Greg Hood, released a prophetic declaration over me, which I’ll share with you in a moment. The prayers of the saints are prevailing against the darkness in America. The Lord has heard our cries. When I go to Washington, D.C., I will be carrying in my heart every prayer I know has been prayed over decades toward the ending of this national abomination—abortion. Many of you have prayed as much or more than I have to end this evil in America. I am simply a representative of those prayers, being sent by God to present them before Him. I pray the bowls are tipped, the hearts of the justices are moved, and we see abortion begin to end in America. Here is the prophetic decree Greg spoke over me while in Mississippi: “Lord, You have backed this nation up against the Red Sea. Pharaoh has been breathing down our neck for decades now. But, God, You are bringing a parting of the Red Sea. And You’re tearing down some altars that have been built up. Father, as Dutch goes into D.C., there’s going to be a new altar built and a fire rekindled in this nation. This altar will be built on the other side of victory. You’re swallowing up Pharaoh's army. You’re swallowing up the army of death. You’re swallowing up the army that’s been sent to enslave a generation. We decree over Dutch, He is carrying Mississippi with him. He’s carrying a rod of authority. He’s carrying the Word and Scriptures that have been inscribed on that staff of authority concerning relationship with You. He’s carrying the keys of Isaiah 22:22. We say he will lock and unlock the hearts of the justices. We believe it’s shifted, Lord, because the prayers of the saints have breathed on the bones over this nation. You are pouring out justice for the unborn and for this nation. You are going to release Heaven’s justice through these Supreme Court Justices.” Let me share some current information on the Dobbs case from those involved. Then, I will share some of the ways we are being asked to pray leading up to and on December 1st. The Heritage Foundation has written a paper explaining the significant pro-life arguments of this case. You will need to go here and read the entire explanation and see their sources and footnotes. It’s excellently written. Here is a summary: “Two features of the law are central to this litigation. First, it is a ban, rather than a regulation, on the performance of abortions. Second, this ban operates well before viability, which the Supreme Court established in Roe, and reaffirmed in Casey, as the ‘critical fact.’ The Act asserts that the state has an interest in protecting maternal health because the maternal risks from abortion increase proportionately relative to gestational age. In addition, the abortion method used after 15 weeks, known as dilation and evacuation, is ‘a barbaric procedure, dangerous for the maternal patient, and demeaning to the medical profession.’ Echoing emphasis by 19th-century physicians on current medical knowledge, the Act highlights facts about fetal development that were unavailable to the Supreme Court in Roe or even in Casey. Modern medicine reveals, for example, that a 15-week-old unborn child has all major organs, moves all fingers separately, exhibits a preference for right or left-handedness, and is responsive to pain.”1 One wonders in light of these statements, how abortion can possibly continue? How could any of the 9 justices consider the description of a 15-week baby in the womb and rule according to “precedence” - decisions they’ve made in the past. Allan Parker is the President of The Justice Foundation. He was lead counsel for Norma McCorvey (formerly “Roe” of Roe v. Wade, from 2000 to 2012) and Sandra Cano (the “Doe” of Doe v. Bolton, until 2014) in their efforts to overturn the two landmark cases that brought legalized abortion on demand to America. Both of these women changed their minds about abortion and wanted their cases reversed by the Court. Neither of them lived long enough to see their desire become reality. Allan has not stopped fighting for justice, however. He helps state senators and representatives write pro-life legislation, and has produced 4 of the 80 briefs filed in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health case. The four briefs Allan has filed include one representing 539,108 Americans asking the Court to end abortion in America, including 2,249 women directly hurt by abortion. A second brief represents 375 women hurt by second and third trimester abortions, together with some of those working to help women recover physically, spiritually, and emotionally from their abortion procedures. We are going to need much more of this type of work. A third brief is specific to the jewish community and their statement supporting Dobbs, and focusses on the immorality of abortion.2 The fourth brief is the most touching. It is filed on behalf of a woman, Hannah S., and her adoptive parents. Hannah was a frozen embryo, adopted and grown to full fetal maturity within the womb of her adoptive mother. She is an adult woman now, living for Christ. Hannah’s adoption is called a “Snowflake Adoption” and we are going to see more and more of them. Her testimony will show the justices in a very real and powerful way that life begins at conception. Every currently frozen embryo is a baby waiting on its parents, natural or adoptive, to receive them, so they can grow fully into the person God created them to be.3 There are 76 other similar briefs filed on behalf of the Mississippi law, and they are likewise impactful. Eighteen states filed a brief in favor of the Mississippi law, as well. These states have Heartbeat Bills, similar legislation and laws waiting to be enacted when the Supreme Court rules to overturn Roe v. Wade in full or in part.4 We are going to see a floodgate of Life actions wash across America when it happens! Here are a few ways we can pray: “Mississippi has a right to protect life—all life—including the life of the unborn. MS has the obligation to protect these innocent lives, and they have the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That’s being taken away from them currently without due process and it needs to stop.” ~MS Governor Phil Bryant 5 “Evil always attacks the most innocent. The Egyptians looked at Israel and became concerned that they were multiplying and prospering. Their response was to kill all the young up to the age of 2. They killed the most vulnerable. We must pray for all the states desiring, like MS, to have the opportunity to protect our most innocent—our babies in the womb.” ~MS Governor Phil Bryant 6 “This case confronts viability. Ask the Lord to have the justices look at viability from the point of Hannah S., formerly a frozen embryo. She was a life in suspended animation. She was a life from conception that had not yet been able to fully develop.” ~Allan Parker 7 Pray with me: Father, we bring before You the multitudes of prayers that have risen before Your throne, asking You to end abortion in America. You have created each and every unborn life. You love them and desire to protect them, so they can fulfill all You created them to be and do. You have raised up warriors to fight on our knees for these precious lives. You have raised up governmental warriors in Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, and many other states, to write legislation and enact laws to protect life. Now, Lord, breathe on Mississippi’s law. Highlight the 80 compelling briefs. Move on the hearts of our nine Supreme Court Justices. Weigh heavily on their consciences, Holy Spirit. Give them dreams in the night. Show them the reality of life in the womb. Protect the babies! Roll this curse off America, Lord. Swallow up Pharaoh's armies—those pursuing our unborn. End the barbarism and the bloodshed. Cause our nation to honor life as You do. Amen. 5 min read November 17, 2021 Kings and Priests As believers, we are a royal or kingly priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). Priests offer to God prayers, petitions and praise, both for themselves and on behalf of others. As kings, we represent the authority of God to earth. Jesus modeled both, representing humans to God and God to humans. He is the great King-Priest, after the order of Melchizedek. We are now partners with Him in this ministry. My friend, Tom Schleuter, has written powerfully on this subject of the “royal priesthood.” ****************************** “It was late February of 2001, and I was standing on the spot where Martin Luther declared his famous speech before the Diet held in Worms, Germany (the Diet was the legislature of the German empire, or Holy Roman Empire, from the 12th century to 1806). I was sobbing uncontrollably as I sensed the power of the Holy Spirit surge through me. As His words gushed forth, I proclaimed: ‘I am blowing My wind upon the church. I am restoring worship. I am restoring the priesthood. I will move upon My people in Germany. I will move upon My people in the nations. I am beginning a new reformation.’ “I was in Germany on a prayer assignment. While there, a businessman took another intercessor and me to Worms, the site of Martin Luther’s trial. In April of 1521, Luther was called to make an appearance before the Diet. Everything he had written and spoken about would be questioned. The Diet was not only a gathering of church officials from the Roman Catholic Church but involved the Emperor himself. “According to Roland H. Bainton in his biography of Luther, Here I Stand, Martin Luther was “a simple monk, a miner’s son, with nothing to sustain him save his own faith in the Word of God.” Over a two-day period, Luther underwent an extensive examination of his writings about justification by faith and the priesthood of all believers, among other doctrinal topics. To the demand of the Diet that he renounce his heretical beliefs, Luther responded by declaring: ‘…Unless I am convicted by Scripture and plain reason—I do not accept the authority of popes and councils, for they have contradicted each other—my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. God help me. Amen.’ “Now, centuries later on the same location, the Lord was proclaiming a fresh wind of reformation and revival. The focus of the Lord’s words was on the restoration of the priesthood of all believers–not a priesthood that is defined by clerical collars, liturgical robes or religious rituals and liturgies, nor a role filled by professional pastors and priests. God’s desire for the priesthood is declared in Exodus 19:4-6 – the first reference of God’s chosen people being called priests: ‘You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.’ (Exodus 19:4-6) “The Lord was speaking to the whole house of Israel. He had delivered them from the clutches of the Pharaoh, and was making a covenant with them at His Mountain. Yahweh declared that those who obeyed His voice and kept His covenant would, as a treasured people, have the privilege of serving before Him as priests, entering into His very presence and communing with Him. “These verses are obviously directed towards the children of Israel. Does the New Testament have anything to say about this to believers in Jesus, however? The answer lies in 1 Peter 2:9,10: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. (1 Peter 2:9,10) “Through Peter, God spoke the same message to those who have been redeemed by Christ Jesus as He had spoken to Israel. He has been restoring this priesthood. We, as a royal or kingly priesthood, will carry His presence and light to the nations. He is calling His people, His bride, into a place of intimate fellowship, worship, and prayer. In that place of intimacy, He will release His heart TO His redeemed people, and reveal His heart FOR the people of the earth. God wants people from all nations to gather at His throne as royal priests. “I recognize that all of us have preconceived notions about priests and priesthood. Some believe they are strictly an Old Testament phenomenon. Others equate the priesthood with those wearing the collars and robes. However, I believe the function of the priest is to go into God’s presence to honor Him, give Him thanks, and hear His heart. Then, in their kingly function, they are to express God’s heart to the people. “We are now in the season when the full mantle represented by Melchizedek - that of king and priest - is being imparted to us. Our destiny is linked with our Lord Jesus Christ. He is forever the Priest according to the order of Melchizedek. And in Him, we are of the same order. The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.’ The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power; in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. The Lord has sworn and will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.’ (Psalm 110:1-4 NKJV) “We are kings and priests seated in the heavenlies with Christ. As such, we exercise the full anointing and authority of the Kingdom. It is essential in this season that we draw near to the King of kings and ready ourselves to declare the words He is speaking into our nation and the nations of the earth.” *************************************** Pray with me: Father, Your word declares in Psalm 110 that in the day of Your power we will rise up as volunteers. We raise our hands and declare that we will walk in that mantle. We take up the call that has been proclaimed in ages past. Draw us into the synergy of the ages. We declare that we are the faithful kings and priests You have destined us to be. We will be those You use to bring Your kingdom and will on earth as it is in heaven. This is the day of volunteering. We will carry out the promised destiny of ruling in the midst of Your enemies, Lord. We believe Your Word from 1 Peter 2:9 (TPT) which says, “You are God's chosen treasure – priests who are kings, a spiritual nation set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience His marvelous light, and now He claims you as His very own. He did this so that you would broadcast His glorious wonders throughout the world.” Lord, cause the Ekklesia in this hour to manifest this Christ-anointing. Amen.
